Customer TrainingWe like to share our knowledge by offering
numerous
high-quality training courses at our training center in
Rheden (NL) or at clients’ facilities. Programs are designed
in line with each client’s special requirements. We also
organize “open” courses for individual subscription in The
Netherlands, as well as courses abroad in cooperation
with local offices.
Training ProgramsOur courses combine theoretical knowledge with
practical
training to ensure maximum value and relevance. The
GE-type heavy-duty gas turbine program trains operators
and maintenance personnel on this type of gas turbine
and its associated systems.
Customer Training
The program includes:
• gas turbine basics
• major components
• auxiliary systems
• turbine maintenance
• turbine operations
• an introduction to turbine controls.
The Speedtronic™ Mark V & Mark VI control program
familiarizes electrical and instrumental staff with the
hardware and software of the control system and
enhances their ability to find viable solutions.
The program includes:
• an introduction to Speedtronic™ controls
• panel hardware
• operating instructions
• introduction to software configurations
• user manuals, maintenance and application manuals
• control systems.
Training FacilitiesOur in-house training facilities include:
• a control simulation set
• a borescope inspection model
• practical demonstrations on machine parts
• performance calculations.
Programs also include visits to the service repair center
and demonstrations of the Thomassen Online Monitoring
(THOMS) system. When we conduct training at a clients’
location, we combine classroom sessions and visual
presentations with practical instruction close to the
machinery. This gives trainees the opportunity to apply
theoretical knowledge to their own machines.
InstructorsInstructors are full-time professionals with long
experience
of all aspects of turbine operation, maintenance and
control technology. They are fluent in numerous languages
and use technical interpreters when there are unusual
language requirements.
