After making a small incision in your eye, our doctors will insert a probe, break up and removethe cloudy cataract-effected lens.

The flexible lens implant is folded up and inserted into the lens capsule, at which point it opensand its haptics, or “arms” unfold to keep it in the proper position.

With the cataract removed and the new lens in place, light can once again travel unimpededto the back of your eye for clearer, more youthful vision.
