CENTURION UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT(CUTM), is the first multi-sector private state university in Odisha and created through an Act of Odisha Assembly. The university is promoted by two outstanding academicians of national and international repute, Professor (Dr) Mukti Mishra, (MBA and Ph.D Victoria University, Australia) and Professor D. N. Rao (BE, PGDM IIM-Calcutta).
In 2004, these two academicians were invited to take over an ailing Engineering College - Jagannath Institute for Technology & Management (JITM) located in Southern Odisha. Using their management skills the duo turned around the fortunes of the college remarkably within a span of one year. In 2011, JITM was ranked 4th among the 96 Engineering Colleges operating in Odisha. In 2008, they established a new campus in Bhubaneswar which now runs several programs, including Engineering, MBA Program, Industrial Training Centre and a +2 Science College. In 2010 our School of Management was awarded the A++ Grade in India’s Top B-Schools as per the Business India study.

CUTM is the FIRST PARTNER of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) which has been given the onus to set up over 50 Skill Training and Capacity Building Centres across India.
CUTM enjoys active partnerships with Government of India, Government of Odisha, and a large number of leading PSUs and corporate houses. Its social entrepreneurship wing GRAM TARANG provides vocational training programs with job assurance for BPL, SC and ST youth of marginalized communities and extremist affected areas in Eastern India. Owing to this significant contribution CUTM was awarded “Best Skills Project in Rural Communities 2010." by the UK-India Skills Forum.

The Training and Development team provides comprehensive careers guidance and training in technical and soft skills that enables students to acquire proficiency in their chosen field.
