Personal Statement

I am currently looking to further my career having been with Timpson Ltd for 7 1/2 years and be-lieve it is now time for a new challenge. The skills I have gained have helped me evolve both professionally and personally. My organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are by necessity strong to avoid missed targets, incomplete orders, unhappy customers and failure to meet area managers objectives/ targets. My computer, technical and social skills support me in problem solving, decision making and the ability to compromise. I have a vast knowledge in all current software packages including Microsoft Office and Apple based systems. I thrive on not only meeting stretching targets and challenging goals set, but exceeding them. I am able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise my time. I also have strong analytical skills enabling me to interpret financial information which at Timpson i am trusted with my current employment. I have worked since the age of 16 and have a conscientious work ethic. My employment to date has been customer service based, I have gained confidence and knowledge of how to deal with both colleagues and customers, more recently it has been more business management orient-ed. I am smart, punctual, polite, efficient, hard working, trustworthy, reliable and eager to learn. I enjoy socialising with friends, listening to music and walking my dog. I have gained 5 years training in Taekwondo, obtaining my blackbelt. I take part in charitable events such as the Blackpool 10 km fun run, raising money for charity and pushing myself to new challenges and regular get involved in charitable activities. Looking forward to the future I am looking to build upon my technical and business management skills, I feel it is time to use my recent experiences and build upon them and I am eager to learn and face new challenges.
