Main responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the development of Advisory Service line of Ernst and Young (EY) in
Bulgaria for the purposes of building clients in the government and private sector in fields wherein Ernst and Young has global expertise and credentials (audit of EU funded projects; advise to responsible government bodies for management, audit and certification of EU funds (i.e. Managing Authorities, Audit Authority, Certifying Authority designated under EC Regulation 1083/2006); Business Advisory Services – financial function transformation; procurement function transformation and etc.). Main activities and responsibilities
In the period between 1 October 2002 and September 2006 the main activities and responsibilities, which I have executed, as well as the main accomplishments of my career as a chief, senior and junior expert to the Integration Policy Directorate, primary consist of the following: A. Participation in negotiations for concluding of bilateral Free Trade Agreements (FTA). Bulgaria had bound commitments to conclude FTA with the countries of South East Europe that had signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Trade Liberalization and Facilitation (MoU) in June 2001 in the framework of the Stability Pact. The overall objective of the Stability Pact in the trade sector is the liberalization and facilitation of trade in the region. This objective is achieved trough a reduction and elimination of tariff and non-‐tariff barriers to trade and through the implementation of measures to facilitate trade. In conformity with the country’s commitments concerning the liberalization and facilitation of trade in the region, I took part in the negotiations for the conclusion of FTAs with the countries of the South East Europe that have signed the MoU. Under the MoU, the countries were committed to complete, by end of December 2002 a regional network of bilateral FTAs in accordance with the provisions set out in the MoU. B. Participation in negotiations with the European Commission for conclusion of an Additional Protocol adjusting the trade aspects of the Europe Agreement establishing an Association between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Bulgaria, of the other part, to take account of the outcome of negotiations between the parties on new mutual agricultural concessions. C. Participation in negotiations with the European Commission for conclusion of an Additional Protocol adjusting the trade aspects of the Europe Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, acting within the framework of the European Union, of the one part, and the Republic of Bulgaria, of the other part, to take account of the outcome of the negotiations between the parties on reciprocal preferential concessions for certain wines and the reciprocal recognition, protection and control of wine, spirit drinks and aromatised wine names; D. Participation in negotiations with the European Commission on improvement of the trade arrangements for processed agricultural products foreseen in Protocol 3 of the Europe Agreement establishing an association between the European Communities and their Member States, acting within the framework of the European Union, of the one part, and the Republic of Bulgaria, of the other part; E. Participation in the negotiations for adaptation of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements to which Bulgaria was a party. Wishing to contribute to the process of

integration in Europe through the extension of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), the Republic of Macedonia submitted its official request on 15 April 2004 to accede to CEFTA. In view of the submitted application and in line with my job responsibilities I have participated in bilateral and multilateral negotiations for adaptation of the CEFTA Agreement to take account of the accession of Macedonia. F. Participation in the Joint Committee Meetings for implementation of the FTA, to which Bulgaria was a party; G. Preparation of reports, analyses and position papers related to the membership of the country in the World Trade Organization (WTO), CEFTA and the accession of Bilgaria to the European Community
