Developed and inexpensive alternative to a Capex investment which involved Integrating Local CCTV units with DCS to improve the Paper Mill Efficiency Levels.

Identify realizable Gap in Performances benchmarking India Facility with IP Best Mills and determine actionable and also ensure translation to implementations as well.

Integration of SAP, Mill DCS and PI to design and develop Process Monitoring, Improvement & Reporting systems.

Responsibilities in mobilizing and recruitment of Paper Machine Staffing Design and Develop SAP and DCS Integrated work systems for Process and Processes. Design Manning in phases of Water Trials, Start up, Commissioning and Stabilization. Role Projects (Feb 2005 – March 2008)

Role involves responsibilities for a New Paper Machine Project in supply from France, since the inception involving the Tenders, technical evaluation & subsequent ordering until Machine performance on guaranteed parameters. The Machine capacity 350 TPD speed 850 mpm is based on CD Dilution controls, Top Former, Trinip Press Section, Speed Sizer, CD caliper control and intended for copy paper. The exposure has enriched the development with respect to responsibilities, know how & experience in all the spheres related to:- Coordination with Consultants for developing the Process Flow Sheets for the Stock Prep, Broke, and

White Water, Vacuum systems, Steam & Condensate system areas, subsequently to determine the capacities of the equipments excluded from the scope of the Machine supplier, Allimand.

Coordination with consultant to develop detail engg in line with the project plan to procure the auxiliaries including the Stock Prep & White Water system, DCS, QCS, Agitators, Pumps, Clothings etc.

Ensuring the flow of drawings in accordance with the progress at site for the civil construction, release of the drawings in order of priority and validation of the drawings before the construction.

Coordination with the Engg department (Electrical, Instrument & Mechanical) for the Basic Engg in view of the engg and communication received from Machine supplier Allimand

Procurement of material and supervision for the activities Piping, Structural Fabrication and tanks. Execution of Pre Commissioning activities, Trial runs, Entire commissioning cycle and validation of

performance thereafter against the performance guarantee parameters.

As shift engg from the initial phase to Deputy Manager, responsible for: Paper Machine Production, Efficiency and Quality, Manpower Deployment, Shutdowns Cost reduction initiatives in the SBU (Small Business Unit) work philosophy. Responsible for the installation and erection activities for the Rebuilt of the Existing 150 TPD, 500

mpm, Paper Machine with New Approach Flow including Pressure screens from Metso and Cleaners from GLV, DCS for Wet and Continuous Stock Prep and Chemical area completed in May 2006
