The origin of alchemy is to be found in a "science" that enclosed inside philosophy,
chemistry, art, medicine, metallurgy, religion, and that was to the search for truth and
knowledge. One of the possible interpretations of alchemy
is summarized in the slogan "Understand, deconstruct, rebuild," which, in my opinion can
also be applied to the process of recovering an area, a building or a functional concept in
the context of architecture. In this approach is certainly apparent the
concept of "transformation" that to be properly implemented is to be divided into three basic steps: understanding the original design, the
deconstruction of the same in the analytical sense in its basic components and the rebuild-
ing according to the parameters of the new project.
The projects are presented here so as to understand how in each -according to its own
path- this theme is present.

The objective of this project is to achieve a possible congruence between the architectural spaces of reference identified in the real space of the project site and
between those designed by the architectural culture to respond to market needs.
What we tried to create is a place that is not only a commercial space, but also a meeting place for activities not only related to the commercial one.
The area in which this project settles has often played the role of commercial space.

The designed market is developed on the Darsena, reshaping part of the perimeter.
The project consists of two volumes of different heights placed on opposite sides of the watercourse. A long
central staircase links the two bodies that run parallel.

The purpose of the project is to provide a multifunc-tional area dedicated to sports and cultural activities.
The intervention consists of two main buildings: the Sports Hall and the library.
The two bodies are connected by a long, low bridge that also houses seating and parking for bicycles. This "roof" looks on a large sloping green space designed to allow the carrying out of outdoor events.
It was also studied and planned roads (both automotive and cycling) around the area.

The project for a summer living space for students is based on a draft by Vittorio Gandolfi for a house in Valmalenco.
The original house is recovered from the physical point of view, material, and then reproducing the same construction, while from the
conceptual point of view the intended use changes.

Gandolfi's house was enlarged with a completely different structure in both the manufacturing system, both in relation to nature.

The study and analysis of the origins of the villa and its transformations allowed to form a general picture of what was the story of that building and those places.
The barn shows since the size of the niche and the axiality his monumental ambitions, confirmed in the large, rectangular structure that alternates themes of 'high' architecture skills with ostentatiously
'rustic' materials .
Have been addressed several stages in order to provide for a partial recovery of the building. In order, were performed geometrical surveys of the building through trilateration and manual measure-
ments. Then we moved to the relief of the present materials . The third phase included the impor-tance of the degradation of materials in preparation for the fourth phase, which involved the retention
and disposal of materials degradation.

ospitato nell’hotel.
The project aims to merge the concept of a hotel stay with the experience in a museum. In each room there is a work of art or a collectible item that is part of the Sotheby's collection, thus creating a unique relationship between this and the host, enrich-ing the experience of living in the hotel.A large exhibition area provides space for exhibitions and auctions open to the public.

In this room type are available to the host some literary works of the Sotheby's collection. The theme of the books is also visibile in the tapestry that decorates the room. The space is configured to give the idea of a tipping space where walls and floor are reversed.
What we tried to create is a place that is not only a commercial space, but also a meeting place for activities not only related to the commercial one.
The room falls into the category of 4-star rooms, is therefore equipped with a spacious bathroom and a loft relax area, is furnished with high design and is equipped with touch screen devices for communication within the hotel structure and surfing the internet.

The exhibition aims to give, through a set up designed ad hoc, new emphasis on objects from the historical value but often not valued. The seven objects are research tools, used in the past to try to understand the solar system and Earth. The exposure is then configured to represent a journey, a journey that begins in the universe (celestial globes) and finally reaches the Earth (terrestrial globe). The main lighting system, scenographical in nature, but clean, helping to create a metaphorical environment in which the lighting system remembers the heavenly bodies that illuminate the planets (the exhibits).

The objects displayed are mostly composed of materials very sensitive to light and that therefore, in order to avoid the deterioration of the surfaces and the risk of degradation, can tolerate a maximum of 50 Lx.
The illumination provided for the exhibits consists of: 4 lighting fixtures that create a homogeneous light coming from above; 4 light fixtures that illuminate the underside of the object, thus creating a homogeneous picture. For the general illumination of the environment have been conceived 10 overhead lights alternate with the objects.

fit out
The Pac of Milan host a fit out that shows, without sho-wing off. Each item creates a different relationship with
the space around. The visitors can see them only by looking through theglass, so not only the space but the very works will come as a surprise and arouse curiosity and que-stions. That's why “what is essential is invisible to the
eye”: because it's by not seeing anything that thevisitors will be able to see it all.

PANNELLO ESPOSITIVO/DISPLAY PANEL
The garage entrance, built ad hoc for the exhibition, will contain within it a section devoted to the bookshop and a space reserved to the ticket
office. The present entrance of the Pavilion will change too: a panel will be superimposed on the door and the door will be
opened only from inside.
The path the visitors will follow is linear and in the opposite direction to the usual paths of the museum.People will have to go out to get in and go in to get out. They will be able to see the exhibi-tion only from the outside, and they will enter the museum only to complete the path and get out.
Display panels are made of wood: the back is left untreated, while the visible side is painted white. On the back of each one there is the name of the artist to whose work the panel acts as background.
