Current Research and Professional Focus

As an experienced faculty developer, I am interested in innovative practices in higher education and how they can improve student learning and persistence outcomes. In my scholarship of teaching and learning, I investigate factors that enhance faculty success (developing effective practices for teaching and assessment) and student success (particularly for marginalized or underrepresented populations). Findings from my research and practice are applicable to many organizational settings and learners of all ages.
