The future
What I'd like my classroom to look like
Slow to start: digital natives?

Screenagers but only with FB and gaming
No longer the sage on the stage
Truly have a differentiated classroom
Plan well ahead: facilitator
Need a LMS like Ultranet
Not HW but prep before your lesson
Never underestimate 'the human touch'
Flipped classroom
Definition of flipped approach
The popular definition that it is only when students prep for lessons using short videos is flawed
That every lesson needs to be run this way is also flawed. Variety is important
Changing preconceived ideas in students' minds is part of the mix
Students take ownership of their learning
Basics to flipping my classPost all work on line on a LMS
Download the work at school
Set short bursts of work for students to prep
Start the lesson at the point of least understanding
Don't expect the change to occur overnight
Find novel ways of checking if the prep was done
Results after term of flipping poetry
