Tඌඉඡ’ඛ Lඍඛඛඖඛ Good morning and welcome to Sunset! What an exciting sea- son. May time spent with family and friends this week be plen- tiful and filled with joy. We have an excellent opportunity to spend time this evening with our Sunset family. Please make plans to be back at 5 o’clock to sing praises to God and fellow- ship with one another. Last Sunday, our six elders introduced our 2019 theme, “Replanting Sunset: Growing Together!” How wonderful it was to see our Shep- herds stand before us in such a unified manner, presenting a challenge to this congregation for the upcoming year. We look forward to the possibilities ahead and continue to ask for your prayers and participation in the weeks to come. Also, last Sunday morning at first service, we introduced Dennis Hall. Dennis would like to work with our family here at Sunset under the direction of our elder- ship. Dennis came our way because of an invitation by his neighbor Sarah Sweet, who came our way earlier because of an invitation from her neighbor, Bonnie Gentry. A simple invitation can be a powerful thing. Let’s all be thinking of someone we could invite in this upcoming new year. It is an honor this morning to officially introduce a family many of you will already know. We want to welcome John and Sandy Barnes (formerly Sandy Graham) and their daughter, Caitlyn. Please take a moment to welcome the Barnes fam- ily as well as Dennis Hall. We are so thankful to have them in our Sunset family. A big thank you to all who provided items for the Holiday Baskets and a great big thank you to Carol Burnum for organizing and preparing the baskets. Our shut-ins were very blessed by this good work. It is my hope and prayer all of you are able to enjoy some time with your family this week. My family will be traveling to Arkansas to spend time with Carie‘s folks and then head on a little further south for some vacation. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.
