In the name of Allah in it’s beginning and end.

و�ة و ال ق�Alhamdulillahil ladhi at 'amani hadha wa razaqanihi

min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwahAll praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any might nor power from myself.

ـو�ة ق�Alhamdulillahil ladhi kasani hadha wa razaqanihi

min ghayri hawlin minni wa la quwahAll Praise is for Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, with no power nor

might from myself.

On undressing:

الله� م� ب�س�Bismillah

In the name of Allah.


Remembrance before sleeping:ـي ا أ ح� و أ مـوت� ـم� الل-ه� ـم�ك ب�اس�

Bismikallahumma amutu wa ahyaIn Your name O Allah, I live and die.

Remembrance after waking up:شور النـ7 و إليه نا أ ماتـ ما ب ع�ـد ـيانا أ ح� ال-ذي ل�ل-ه� ـد� م� الح

Alhamdulillahil ladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin nushur

All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.


Remembrance on entering the mosque:طان� أ يـ� الش- م�ن ديـم الق ل�طـان�ه و س� الك ر�يـم ـه� ه� ب�و ج� و الع ظيـم بالله� عوذ�

لي ح� تـ اف� ـم� الل-ه� الله، سول� ر ع لى الم� و الس� و الص�الة� الله، ـم� ب�س� جـيم، الر�م تـك ح� ر ب�واب أ

A ‘udhu billahil azhim, wa bi waj hihil karim, wa sultanihil qadimi minash shaytanir rajim. Bismillahi was salatu was salamu ‘ala rasulillah. Allahummaf tahli abwaba rahmatikI take refuge with Allah, the Supreme and with His Noble

Face, and His eternal authority from the accursed devil. In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the

Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open the gates of Your mercy for me.

Remembrance on leaving the mosque:

ـن� م� ل�ك أ س� أ ي �نـ- إ ـم� الل-ه� الله، سول� ر ع لى الم� و الس- و الص-الة� الله ب�سم�

جـيم الر� طان� يـ� الش� م�ن م�نـي اعص� ـم� الل-ه� ـل�ك، ف ض�Bismillahi was salatu was salamu ‘ala rasulillah.

Allahumma inni as aluka min fadlik. Allahumma’ simni minash shaytanir rajim.

In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your favour.

O Allah, guard me from the accursed devil.


Remembrance on entering the house:نا ك-لـ� ت و ب�نـا ر و ع لـى نـا، ج� ـر خ الله� ـم� ب�س� و نـا، ل ج� و الله� ـم� ب�س�

Bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa 'ala rabbina tawakkalna

In the name of Allah we enter and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place our

trust.

On leaving the house:ب�الله إ�ال- ة ـو� ق� و ال و�ل ح و ال الله� ع لى ت� ك�لـ� ت و الله� م� ب�س�

Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallah wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.


Remembrance before entering the toilet: . بائ�ث ال�خ و ـب�ث� ال�خ� ـن م� ك بـ� أ عـوذ� ي �نـ� إ ـم� الل-ه� الله م� ب�س�

Bismillah, allahumma inni a ‘udhubika minal khubuthi wal khaba-ith

In the name of Allah. O Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.

After leaving the toilet:ـران ك غ�ف�

GhufranakaI ask You (Allah) for forgiveness.


Remembrance on riding a camel or any means of transportation:

ل ه� ك�ن-ا و ما هذا ل نا ـر خ� س ال-ذي ـب�حان س� لله، ـد� م� ال�ح و الله� ـم� ب�س�ل�بون نـق ل م� ب�نا ر إ�لى �ن-ا إ و ـر�نين، م�ق�

Bismillahi wal hamdulillah, subhanalladhi sakh khara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin wa

inna ila rabbina lamunqalibunIn the name of Allah and all praise is for Allah. How perfect He is, the One Who has placed this

(transport) at our service and we ourselves would not have been capable of that, and to our Lord is

our final destiny.

When you reach your destination:ق لـ خ ما ـر� ش م�ن� ام-ات� التـ- الل-ه� مات� ب�ك لـ� أ عـوذ�

A ‘udhu bikalimatillahit tammati min sharri ma khalaq

I take refuge in Allah’s perfect words from the evil that He has created.


Remembrance after any congregation: ك ر� ت غ�ف� س�

أ ن�ت أ إ�ال- إ�له ال أ ن� ـد� ه أ ش� مد�ك ب�ح و ـم� الل-ه� ب�حـان ك س�ي�ك �لـ إ أ توب� و

Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika, ash hadu alla ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You, I bear witness that none has the right to be

worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You.


Remembrance on entering the market:يـي ي�ح� ـد، م� الح وله� ك� لـ� الم� له� له�، شريك ال وحد ه� الل-ه إال- إله الء� ي� ش ك�ل� ع ل ى و هو ـي�ر� ال�خ د�ه� ب�يـ ي مـوت، ال ح ي\ و و ه� ي�ميـت� و

د�ي�ر[ قLa ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul

mulku wa lahul hamd, yuhyi wa yumit, wa huwa hayyun la yamut, biyadihil khayr, wa huwa ‘ala kulli

shay in qadirNone has the right to be worshipped except Allah,

alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is living and does not die. In His

hand is all good and He is over all things, omnipotent.


When one of you sneezes he should say:لله� ـد� م� ال�ح

AlhamdulillahAll praise is for Allah.

…and his companion who hears it should say to

him:الله م�ـك ح ي ر�

YarhamukallahMay Allah have mercy upon you.

…and the one who sneezed replies back to him:

ك�م بالـ ـل�ح� ي�ص� و الله� م� ـديكـ� ي ه�Yahdikumullahu wayuslihu balakum

May Allah guide you and rectify your condition.


Supplication said when it rains: ^ ـعا ناف� با^ يـ� ص م� الل-ه�

Allahumma sayyiban nafi ‘anO Allah, may it be a beneficial rain cloud.

After rainfall:

ـت�ه م ح� و ر الله� ـل� ض� ب�ف نا ر� م�طـ�Mutirna bifadlillahi wa rahmatihi

We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah.

Asking for clear skies

و ب�طـون� راب، و الظـ� اآلكـام� ع لى م� الل-ه� نا، ع ل يـ� و ال وال ي�نا ح م� الل-ه�جـر الش� نـاب�ت� و م األو�د�ية،

Allahumma hawalayna wa la ‘alayna, allahumma ‘alal akami waz zirab, wa butunil awdiyah, wa

manabitish shajarO Allah, let the rain fall around us and not upon us,

O Allah, (let it fall) on the pastures, hills, valleys and the roots of trees.


The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say on the sick when visiting him:

الله شـاء إ�ن� ط هـور[ سبأ� ال

La ba’ sa tahurun insha AllahNever mind, may it (the sickness) be a purification,

if Allah wills.


Supplication on Strong Wind:

ت� لـ س� ا�ر� ما ر يـ� و خ فيهـا، ما ر يـ� و خ ها، ر يـ� خ ك ـأ لـ� س� أ ي �نـ� إ ـم� الل-ه�

ب�ه ت� لـ س� ا�ر� ما ـر� و ش فيهـا، ما ـر� و ش ها، ـر� ش م�ن� ب�ك أ عـوذ� و ب�ه،Allahumma inni as aluka khayraha wa khayra ma

fiha, wakhayra ma ursilat bih, wa a ‘udhu bika min sharriha, wa sharri ma fiha wa sharri ma ursilat bihO Allah, I ask You for it’s goodness, the good within it, and the good it was sent with, and I take refuge with You from it’s evil, the evil within it, and from

the evil it was sent with.


Supplication on Adhan:Repeat silently after what the muadh-dhin is saying except for the parts: “Hayya ‘alas salah” and “Hayya ‘alal falah”

which you should say:ب�الل�ه� إ�ال� ة و� ق� و ال و�ل ح ال

La hawla wa la quwata illal billahThere is no might nor power except with Allah.

After Adhan:

الو سيـلة ^ دا ـم� مح آت� ـائ�م ة الق و الص-الة� ام�ة التـ- الد-ع�ـو ة� ذ�ه� ه ب� ر ـم� الل-ه�الميـعاد ل�ف� خ� تـ� ال ك �نـ� إ و ع ـد�ت ه ال�ذي ^ م حـمودا م قـامـا^ اب�ع ـث�ه و ضـيل ة ال�ف و

Allahumma rabba ha dhihid da’watittammati wassalatil qaimati ati muhammadanil wasilata wal fadilata wab ‘ath

hu maqamam mahmudanil ladhi wa ‘adtah, innaka la tukhliful mi ‘ad

O Allah, Owner of this perfect call and Owner of this prayer to be performed, bestow upon Muhammad al-waseelah and

al-fadeelah and send him upon a praised platform which You have promised him. Verily, You never fail in Your

promise.al-waseelah: A station in paradise.

When starting ablution:الله م� ب�س�

BismillahIn the name of Allah.

Upon completing the ablution:

د�ه� ع بـ� ـدا^ م- م�ح أ ن� د� ه أ ش� و ه� لـ ريـك ش ال د ه� و ح� الله� إ�ال- ه �لـ إ ال أ ن� د� ه أ ش�ـرين. المت ط ه- م�ن ع ـل�ني و اج� و-ابين التـ� م�ن ع لنـي اج� ـم� الل-ه� ه سـولـ� و ر

Ash hadu alla ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharikalah, wa ash hadu anna muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.

Allahummaj ‘alni minat tawwabina waj ‘alni minal muta tahhirin.

I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. O Allah,

make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.


What to Read on Salah:

Du’a ul Istiftah: �له إ و ال ـد7ك ج ت عـالى و م�ـك اس� ك ت بار و ـد�ك م� ب�ح و ـم� الل-ه� حان ك بـ� س�

ك غ ي�ر�Subhanakallahumma wabihamdika,

watabarakasmuka, wata ‘ala jadduka, wala ilaha ghayruk

How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. Blessed be Your name, and lofty is Your position and none has the right to be worshipped except

You.

(Then read Suratul Fatihah and another Surah after it.)

Subhana rabbiyal ‘azhim (3x)How perfect my Lord is, the Supreme.

Sami ‘allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana walakalhamdMay Allah answer he who praises Him. Our Lord, for

Subhana rabbiyal a’la (3x)How perfect my Lord is, the Most High.

Julus:

Ash hadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ashhadu anna muhammadan ‘abduhu warasuluh. Allahumma salli ‘ala muhammad, wa ‘ala ali muhammad, kama sallayta

‘ala ibrahim wa ‘ala ali Ibrahim, innaka hamidun majid, allahumma barik ‘ala muhammad, wa ‘ala ali muhammad, kama barakta ‘ala ibrahima wa ‘ala ali ibraheem, innaka

hamidun majid At-tahiyyat is for Allah. All acts of worship and good deeds are for Him. Peace and the

mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you O Prophet. Peace be upon us and all of Allah’s righteous servants. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. ‘O Allah, send prayers

upon Muhammad and the followers of Muhammad, just as You sent prayers upon Ibraheem and upon the followers of Ibraheem. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty. O Allah, send blessings upon Mohammad and upon the family of Muhammad, just as You

sent blessings upon Ibraheem and upon the family of Ibraheem. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty.’

send prayers: praise and exalt him in the highest and superior of gatherings: that of the closest angels to Allah.

At-tahiyyat: all words which indicate the glorification of Allah. His eternal existence, His perfection and His sovereignty.


Taslim:الله� ة� م ح� و ر ع ل ي�ك�م� ال م� الس�

Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahMay the peace and mercy of Allah be with you.

Don’t forget to say the takbir “ أكبر Allahu akbar )Allah is the / اللهgreatest(” on every movement except for the i’tidal and taslim.

The most important thing to read in salah is the Surah Al-Fatihah. Recite the Surah Al-Fatihah carefully and other chapters you have memorized.


Dhikr After Salah:

الكـاف�رون ر�ه كـ ل و� و الد�ين ه� لـ ل�صـين مخ� الل-ه�Allahumma antas salamu wa minkas salam. Tabarakta Ya Dhal Jalali wal Ikram. La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay-in qadir. Allahumma la mani’a

lima a’tayta, wa la mu’tiya lima mana’ta, wa la yanfa’u dhal jaddi minkal jad. La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay-in qadir. La hawla wa la quwata illa billah. La ilaha illallahu, wa la na’budu illa iyah. lahun ni’matu

wa lahul fadlu wa lahuth thana-ul hasan. La ilaha illallahu, mukhlisina lahud dina wa law karihal kafirun

O Allah, You are As-Salam and from You is all peace, blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honour. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.O Allah, none can prevent what You have willed to bestow and none can bestow what You have willed to prevent, and no wealth or majesty can

benefit anyone, as from You is all wealth and majesty. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. There is no might nor power except with Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we

worship none except Him. For Him is all favour, grace, and glorious praise. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him although the disbelievers

detest it.As-Salam: The One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies.


) وثالثين ) ثالثا^ ب ر أكـ� والله� لله، ـد� م� والح الله�، ـب�حان س�Subhanallah (33x), Alhamdu lillah (33x), Allahu akbar (33x)

How perfect Allah is. All praise is for Allah. Allah is the greatest.

ـدير ق يء� ش ك�ل- على وه�و م�د، الح وله� الملك� له� له�، شريك ال ـد ه� و ح� الل-ه� إال- إله الLa ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku walahul

hamdu wahuwa ‘ala kulli shay in qadirNone has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over

all things omnipotent.

It is also from the sunnah to recite Ayatul Kursi (Al-Baqarah:255) after each prayer. The following three chapters should be recited once after Zhuhr, ‘Asr and ‘Isha prayers and thrice after Fajr and Maghrib: Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq

and Surah An-Nas.

Dhikr in the Morning:

أ ب�ك ـم� الل-ه�Allahuma bika asbahna wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya wa bika

namutu wa ilaykan nushurO Allah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by Your

leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our resurrection.

له� له�، ريك ش ال و حد ه� الل-ه� إال- إله ال ، لله مد� الح و لله ـل�ك� الم� ـب ح ص�

أ و نا ـب ح� ص� أ

Asbahna wa asbahal mulku lillahi wal hamdu lillah, lailaha illallah wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wahuwa ‘ala kulli

shay in qadir. Rabbi as aluka khayra ma fi hadhal yawm wa khayra ma ba'dah, wa a 'udhubika min sharri hadhal yawm wa sharri ma

ba'dah. Rabbi a 'udhubika minal kasali wa su il kibar. Rabbi a 'udhubika min ‘adhabin fin nar wa adhabin fil qabr

We have reached the morning and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the

right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things

omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what follows it and I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from

laziness and senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.

Allahumma anta rabbi lailaha illa anta khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu

a'udhubika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu u laka bini'matika ‘alayya wa abu u laka bi dhambi, faghfirli fa

innahu la yaghfirudh dhunuba illa antaO Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be

worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as

best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me

and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.

Subhanallahi wabihamdih ‘adada khalqih, wa rida nafsih, wa zinata ‘arshih, wa midada kalimatih (3x)

How perfect Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure, and by

the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words.

الع ظـيم ش� الع ر� ب7 ر و و ه� لت� ت و كـ� يه� ع لـ و ه� إال- إله ال الل-ه� ي بـ� س� ح) ات) م ر- سبع

Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul ‘arshil ‘azhim (7x)

Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is

Lord of the exalted throne.


Dhikr in the Evening:

أ ب�ك ـم� الل-ه�Allahuma bika amsayna wa bika asbahna, wa bika nahya wa bika

namutu wa ilaykal masirO Allah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by Your

leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our return.

ـب�ر الق في و ع ـذاب�Amsayna wa amsal mulku lillahi wal hamdu lillah, lailaha illallah

wahdahu la sharikalah, lahul mulku walahul hamdu wahuwa ‘ala kulli shay in qadir. Rabbi as aluka khayra ma fi hadhihil laylah wa khayra

ma ba'daha, wa a 'udhubika min sharri hadhihil laylah yawm wa sharri ma ba'daha. Rabbi a 'udhubika minal kasali wa su il kibar.

Rabbi a 'udhubika min ‘adhabin fin nar wa adhabin fil qabrWe have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allah belongs

all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all

sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it and I take refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I take refuge in You from laziness and

senility. My Lord, I take refuge in You from torment in the Fire and punishment in the grave.

antaO Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge

Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.

أ وAllahumma innee a ‘udhu bika min an ushrika bika shay an a’lamuhu, wa astaghfiruka lima la a‘lamuh.O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit

shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.


When Angry or If a Suggestion from Satan Assail You:

جيـم الر� طان� يـ� الش� م�ن ب�الله� أ عـوذ�

A ‘udhu billahi minash shaytanir rajimI take refuge with Allah from the accursed devil.


Settling a Debt:

ـن� ع م� ـل�ك� ض� ب�ف ني أ غ�نـ� و ـرام�ـك، ح ع ن� ك اللـ� ب�ح ـني اك�ف� ـم� الل-ه�ـواك س�

Allahummak fini bihalalika ‘an haramik, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwak

O Allah, make what is lawful enough for me, as opposed to what is unlawful, and spare me by Your

grace, of need of others.


When in Distress or Afflicted by Calamity or Trials

q ال�ميـن الظـ- م�ن ت� ك�نـ� �ن�ي إ ـب�حان ك س� ت أنـ� إ�ال� �ل ه إ الLa ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazh

zhaliminNone has the right to be worshipped except You.

How perfect You are, verily I was among the wrong-doers.

ف� لـ� و اخ� م�صـيب تي، في ني ـر� أج� ـم� الله� عـون، راج� ي�ه� �لـ إ �ن ا إ و لله� �ن-ا إ

ها نـ� م� را^ يـ� خ ليInna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji ‘un, allahumma’ jurni

fi musibati wakhluf li khayran minhaTo Allah we belong and unto Him is our return.O

Allah, recompense me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better.


Supplication When Sighting the Hilal (New Moon)

ب�ي ر الم�، واإل�س� ة� الم و الس� ، واإل�يم ان� ب�ال�ي�م�ن� عل ي�ن ا ل�ه� أ ه� م� الل�ه�الل�ه ب7ك ور

Allahumma ahillahu ‘alayna bil yumni wal iman, was salamati wal islam, rabbi wa rabbukallah.

O Allah, let this moon (month) pass over us with blessings, faith, safety, and in the belief of Islam.

My Lord and your Lord is Allah.


Supplication on Laylatul Qadr

ع ن�ي اع�ف� ف و ال�ع ف� ت�ح�ب7 و\ ع ف� �ن�ك إ م� الل-ه�Allahumma innaka ‘afuwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu

‘anni.O Allah, You are the one who pardons greatly, and

loves to pardon, so pardon me.

(For plural form: fa’fu ‘anna which means “so pardon us”.)


Supplication Being Said to Someone Who Helped You Financially

ال�ك و م ل�ك أ ه� ف�ي ل ك الله� ك ب ارBarakallahu laka fi ahlika wa malika.

May Allah bless for you, your family and your wealth.

and may He unite both of you in goodness.


Before Sexual Intercourse:

ـت نا ق� ز ر ما ـي�طان الش� ن�ب� و ج ، طان يـ� الش� ن�ب�نا ج ـم� الل-ه� الله م� ب�س�Bismillah, allahumma jannibnash shaytan,

wajannibish shaytana ma razaqtanaIn the name of Allah. O Allah, keep the devil away

from us and keep the devil away from what you have blessed us with.


Supplication for Asking a Good Child/Offspring

)) ث�ي�ن ار� ال�و ي�ر� خ ن�ت أ و دا^ ر� ف ن�ي ت ذ ر� ال ب� : ))ر األنبياء 89سورةRabbi la tadharni fardaw wa anta khayrul warithin.My Lord! Leave me not childless, though You art the best of

inheritors.

Rabbi hab li mil ladunka dhurriyatan tayyibatan, innaka sami ‘ud du ‘a.

My Lord! grant me from Your bounty good offspring; surely You are the Hearer of prayer.


Supplication for Protection of Your Child Against Evil Eye

ة� الم�U ‘idhuka bikalimatillahit taammah, min kulli shaytanin wa haammah, wa min kulli ‘aynin

laammah.I commend you to the protection of Allah’s perfect words from

every devil, vermin, and every evil eye.

Note:If your child is a girl, say: U ‘idhuki...If two children, say: U ‘idhukuma...If more than two, say: U ‘idhukum...

If more than two but all girls, say: U ‘idhukunna...


Supplication of the Resident for the Traveller

Astawdi ‘ullaha dinaka wa amanataka wa khawatima ‘amalik.

I place your religion, your faithfulness and the ends of your deeds in the trust of Allah.

Supplication of the Traveller for the Residents

و دائ�ع�ـه ت ضـيع� ال ال�ذي الل�ه م� و�د�ع�كـ� تـ س� أ

Astawdi ‘ukumullahal ladhi la tadi ‘u wada i ‘ahu .I place you in the trust of Allah, whose trust is never

misplaced."


Supplication While Returning from Travel

حـام�ـدون نا بـ� ل�ر دون عابـ� تائ�بـون آي�بـونAyibuna ta ibuna ‘abiduna li Rabbina hamidun .

We return, repent, worship and praise our Lord.

Note: This dua can be repeated many times until you have entered your city.

tahtasib .Verily to Allah, belongs what He took and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has an appointed time. Therefore, be patientand hope for Allah’s reward.
