Market News (World wide): Manufacture of medical syringes plan to master in the Omsk region Wed, July 14, 2010 | Topic: Products In the Omsk region will create a manufacturer of medical syringes. The interest in this project and willingness to make the customer a new product announced by German company "Farmar GmbH, said "Omsk province." A proposal was received by the Ministry of Industry area. It is assumed that the power plant project will exceed 150 million syringes per year. As the main supplier of raw materials is considered polypropylene plant, which was put into operation in late 2010. In the future, in the Omsk region will start the production line for production and other disposable medical instruments (catheters, containers for storing blood products). The Government of Omsk Region has initiated a regional industry cluster of medical instrumentation. Currently, Omsk enterprises mastered serial production of a range of medical equipment that is used in physiotherapy, gynecology, dentistry, surgery. They are all designed on the basis of advanced bioengineering technologies associated with the use of ultrasound, laser, electric and magnetic fields, high-level chemical groups of substances. Purchase opinion:

As for casted on Monday, Last Global Polymer Report was also down by $ 40 -$ 50 in all polymers. As per our study

ethylene monomer at international level is being offered @$ 800-$ 825.There are chances that ethylene monomer may

touch $ 750-780 looking to continuous down fall in ethylene prices & recent Control of US sanctions on Iranian

Petrochemicals companies. This may lead all major global Poly ethelene mfgrs to decrease their offer rate to match

market competition.

"Iranian origin polymers facing difficulties after sanctions Iranian origin polymers are currently facing difficulties in

global markets stemming from tighter US sanctions. A trader in India reported that shipping lines are refusing to take

Iranian origin cargoes causing a cancellation of orders. He said some of these shipping lines include Maersk and APL who

have begun declining business for Iranian material. According to the trader, only IRSL and UASC are currently

providing service from Iran but he suspects that in the coming month seven UASC will stop services under pressure from

the US. The trader added that banks have also refused to accept documents. Previously it was possible to do business with

Iran on Euro LC but now even that has stopped. He said if customers want to open an LC to import material from Iran it

has to be purely on United Arab Emirates ihram basis which is difficult for customers. Some of the Iranian petrochemical

producers have already started facing problems and have taken steps to shut down production, he noted. Both Sasol and

Meher Petrochemicals plan long drawn out maintenance shutdowns in the near term blaming them on plant problems

and ample supplies. The US Treasury department had earlier this week listed Iranian companies subject to sanctions and

these included Iran?s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and its subsidiaries and the Iran Petrochemical

Commercial Company (IPCC) and its subsidiaries. The United Nations also emphasized that there are

?proliferationconcerns surrounding Iran?s energy sector,? and warned companies to beconscious of the implication of

trade conducted with Iran?s energycompanies. Other entities listed by the US Treasury included theNational Iranian Oil

Company, the Iranian Oil Company, NIOCInternational Affairs, and Intra Chem Trading Co, and allsubsidiaries.In the

latest news, the US Congress passed a bill of additional sanctions targeted at Iran?s oil sector on Thursday, aiming to

blockexports of refined products and ethanol and implementing furtherfinancial restrictions.The trader in India noted

that he expects to start seeing the effectson supply of ethylene and PE in another two to three weeks due to these sanctions

against Iran"

We have witnessed continuous down fall in polymers at international level. Previous week's(Wk 4 th,June,2010) global

polymer report is down with an average of 25-35 $,which has lead the domestic mfgrs. to decrease their domestic Selling

rate in accordance with downfall in respective polymer.

As per us,still its a time to wait & watch before starting purchase of PE. At any moment of time trend may take "U" turn

towards stability or Increment. It all depends upon nos. of Diff. factors like exchange rate, Mat. Availability, Monomer's

rate, demand in finish goods etc. Procurement of materail should be in accordance with mfgrs monthly production

capability, it should not increase 50% of total capacity.

As of now HDPE & HM-HDPE to the lowest bottom ,or at lowest range ,we are of the opinion that traders &

manufacturer can start purchasing same either for immediate sale or for the purpose of inventory.HPL has signed

contract with domestic parties for the supply of mat. during the month of July,2010.








In PP, Random Copolymer & Impact co polymer is under short supply from company end. LDPE is also under short

supply since long. In these grades, purchaser need not require to wait to avail material at company price list rate. And at

the Same time procurement should be not more than their routine requirement for next 7 days.
