Services for Parents /Carers

Condition, or who have children going through the diagnostic process. ‘Links’ meets term time each Thursday at the farm between 10.00am - 12.00 noon.

All parents/carers are welcome and crèche facilities are available at a currently subsidised cost of £1 per child. Please note that it is essential to pre-book a place in the creche.

The weekly programme is varied, with interesting speakers, workshops and an opportunity for an informal chat and light lunch on the first Thursday of the month.

If you are unable to make the Thursday morning Links, why not join us for a coffee and a chat on the following dates? We can discuss general and specific issues in a friendly and informal environment.

Family Services

A haven for families a�ected by autism

Activities DaysFor families in the Tees Valley affected by an Autism Spectrum Condition. Come and enjoy our soft play, petting farm, outdoor playground and lots of other indoor and outdoor activities. Siblings are welcome too! Please note that parents/carers are required to supervise their children at all times.

£4 for the first child and £2 for each additional child

Holiday FunHalf Term Holiday - Please note that we are closed Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June for the extra Bank Holidays.

Short Break ServiceAvailable for children aged 8 and over with a diagnosis of an ASC. Sessions are limited to 20 children. Booking is essential and completed care plans and Risk Assessments will be required.

‘Sibz’ caters for siblings of children with an ASC and is suitable for young people aged between 5-16. The group meets fortnightly. They enjoy outings, activity evenings and occasional education sessions, which help the young people understand more about Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Services for Young People with an ASC Social GroupsDaisy Chain runs a number of Social groups and Youth clubs for young people aged 5-18. The sessions are structured and provide opportunities for interactions and friendships between young people.

Places are limited and young people must have a diagnosis of an ASC. Please contact a member of the Care Team if you would like more information and to find out which club would be most suitable for your child.

Wednesday Night FunThis service is suitable for young people, with a diagnosis of an ASC and learning difficulties, who are unable to access the Social groups. Sessions must be booked in advance. Maximum 10 children

Please note that parents/carers are required to supervise their children at all times. Siblings may attend.

Additional ServicesToddler GroupOur Toddler group is for children under 5 with any special need and their parents/carers, meetings are every Wednesday 9:30am - 11:30am during term time.

No need to book – just drop in!

Cost - £4 for each family

Advice, Support and GuidanceOne to one support with strategies and help to understand Autism Spectrum Conditions is available, by appointment, with a member of the Care Team. The Care Team can work with children and young people as well as parents/carers.
