B. Schedule

1. Documents of candidates application shall have to be receivedby the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesiathrough Indonesian Embassy in Ankara by the end of February2010 at the latest.

2. Selection of candidates shall be conducted is in mid of March2010.

3. The announcement of selected candidates is in the beginning ofApril 2010

4. Confirmation of participants agreement is in the beginning ofJune 2010

5. The arrival of participants shall be in the beginning of August2010

6. Orientation program shall be conducted in the beginning ofAugust 2010

7. Classes will be commenced from September 2010 until July 20118. For University of Indonesia, class will be commenced in the

beginning of July 2010

9. For participants of Short Course program (6 months) class willcommence on :a. Period I : August 2010 till January 2011b. Period II : February 2011 till July 2011

II. VISA ARRANGEMENT

To study in Indonesia, the Darmasiswa participant is required to have a social visitvisa issued by the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate in the participants country ofresidence which then will be converted into temporary stay permit for 1 year. Uponarrival in Indonesia, the Darmasiswa participants passport has to be submitted tothe Biro Perencanaan dan Kerjasama Luar Negeri (Bureau of Planning andInternational Cooperation), Ministry of National Education, for necessaryarrangement in obtaining recommendations of the State Secretariat and theDirectorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Participants are prohibited to apply for tourist visa for study purpose.

III. ACCOMODATION

1. The Ministry of National Education does not provide accommodations for theparticipants.

2. The participants have to find their own accommodation assisted by the higher

education institution during their study.3. The participants may rent a house/room in accordance with their preference

and financial capacity.

IV. COVERAGE OF SCHOLARSHIP

1. Free of tuition fee2. Allowance on living cost per month of Rp. 1.500.000 (one million and five

hundred thousand rupiah)

For unexpected additional expenses in Indonesia, participants are advised to bring

some money in US dollar.

V. PROCEDURES

The applicant can apply online using the following address:www.darmasiswa.diknas.go.id or filling up application form available at theIndonesian Embassy or Consulate in the participants country of residence. In casethe applicant applies online, he/she should notify the Indonesian Embassy orConsulate.

VII. ARRIVING IN INDONESIA

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia, in this term is Bureau of Planningand International Cooperation, Ministry of National Education does not providereturn international airfare to Indonesia. The Ministry only pays the ticket or cost oftransportation of participants from Jakarta to the university (if located outsideJakarta).

VIII. HEALTH INSURANCE

The Ministry of National Education does not provide health insurance, thereforeparticipants are expected to have international insurance since the organizingcommittee does not provide it.
