Project timeline

What’s in the data?

• The Pennant Accounts data collection includes:

• Students, and all detail transactions on their billing accounts (charges, payments, adjustments)

• Simplified view of the overall student account balance

• General Ledger data – links data from individual transactions to GL entries

• Batch transaction (‘Feeder App’) data – links transactions posted to the student’s account to data from the Pennant Feeder App

• Supporting tables (detail codes, detail to subcode mapping, GL and student reference tables)

Access and Training

• Access to Pennant Accounts

• Pennant Accounts will be a stand alone data collection, containing Student Academic and Student Accounts Data

• Access to the Pennant Accounts data will no longer be granted as part of access to the Student Data collection

• Current Student Data users will still have access to the legacy BRS data, but will need to request access to Pennant Accounts

• Legacy BRS data will be included as part of Pennant Accounts

• Separate eForms will be available for Student and Pennant Accounts (access to Pennant Accounts grants access to all Student Data and its associated Business Objects Universes)

Business Objects upgrade to BI4

• What this means for you:• NO Webi report conversion expected• There are some changes for Webi (icons in different places, tool bars behave

differently)• We’re working on information about changes, new features, etc.

• Status/timeline:• ISC is currently configuring the environment and doing initial testing• If you’re interested in being part of a testing working group let us know• Goal is to be on BI4 by the end of 2015, but we’re still working on timeline
