Organizational chart and processes

Nature and Extent of involvement of Faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements Teachers and Students are involved in all type of academic activities, which they plan during

the year like case studies, role-plays, curriculum updation etc.

Mechanism/ Norms and Procedure for democratic/ good Governance DAVIM has a Board of Governors comprising leading industrialists, Senior Academicians,

Principal Director, Staff Representatives and Senior members of DAVCMC. Board of Governors

not only help decide the over all policy but also regularly give guidance and valuable

suggestions to Principal Director towards achieving excellence in operation. Principal Director

is responsible for day to day governance of DAVIM.

Semester wise reports are prepared for both the programs as well as all other activities of the

Institute and sent to Board of Governors and DAVCMC. Similarly annual reports are also

prepared regularly and discussed with members of Board of governors.

All financial policies, budgets and resource allocation are first approved by Board of Governors

during the annual meeting and then forwarded to Principal Director for execution. Both

internal and external financial audit are carried out as per the laid down schedule. The auditors

are nominated by DAVCMC. The results are also shared with Board of Governors as well as

DAVCMC.

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/ Faculty performance Since inception every possible practice is being followed to allow/ encourage the students to

submit their feedbacks on Institute Governance and Faculty Performance. Students are free to give their feedback directly to the Director or through their Class Representatives and/or Class Counsellors. For anonymous suggestions a Feedback Box has been placed in the Institute.

Grievance Redressal mechanism for Faculty, staff and students Our Institute has an open door policy to provide quick and efficient solution to the grievances

of staff and students. The faculty, staff and students can approach the Director/Principal/HOD at any anytime during working hour for redressal of their grievances. Besides, In pursuance with the All India Council for Technical Education and University Grant Commission Regulation 2012- Establishment of Mechanism for Grievance Redressal an internal ‘Grievance Redressal Committee’ has also been formed strictly as per the said regulation.
