Introduction

BetweenMay1stand2nd1981,IhadaveryremarkableencounterwithGodinavision.Isawaparadeofsufferingmasses,agonisingforrescue.Thesightwassoterribleandevenmoresowasthesoundoftheircries,groaningsandwailings,whichmademefeeltheirpangsandpainsinmybeing.

Ialsobegantosobandcry.ThentheLordsaidtome,"Butfromthebeginningitwasnotso!"Goddidnotcreatemanforsufferingandagonies;Hisproductwastamperedwithandcorrupted.WhatIsawinthatvisionwasnottheoriginalcreationofGod,buttheoppressionofthedevil,whichiswhatweseeallovertheworldtoday.Itmanifestsinsickness,disease,shame,nakedness,andbarrenness.ButthankGodthereisawayout!

ThevisionendedwithGodsayingthesewordstome:

"Thehourhascometoliberatetheworldfromalloppressionsofthedevil,throughthepreachingoftheWordoffaith,andIamsendingyoutoundertakethistask."

TheWordofFaithisthereforetheguaranteefortheliberationofallmankind.Hebrews1:3says:

Whobeingthebrightnessofhisglory,andtheexpressimageofhisperson,andupholdingallthingsbythewordofhispower,whenhehadbyhimselfpurgedoursins,satdownontherighthandoftheMajestyonhigh;

So,yourpredicamentisnotabovetheWordofGod,nomatteritssource.

Barrennessisaspiritualissuewhichtraversesgeographical,economical,andsocialbarriers.Itdefiesmostscientificapproaches.Thisproblemhasreducedmanycivilisedmentocrawlingintohutsandhamlets,insearchofasolution.

TheanswerisactuallynowhereelsebutinJesus.ThatwaswhyHesaid,"Comeuntome,allyethatlabourandareheavyladen,andIwillgiveyourest"(Matt.11:28).Jesushastheanswertotheproblemofbarrenness.Nobodyelsewouldhavebeenaudaciousenoughtoinviteeveryone,excepttheOneintowhosehandsGodhascommittedalljudgement(Jn.5:22).

Theinvitationistoallwhoaretiredanddonotknowwhereelsetoturn.Itisforthosewhohaveweptinsearchofchildren,butarestillhopingfortheirmiracle.Ifyouareinthiscategory,Jesussaystoyou,"ComeandlearnofMe."Heknowsthatmanypeoplehave

prayedforyouwithoutresults.ButnowHesays,"Comeandlearn",because,"Youshallknowthetruthandthetruthshallmakeyoufree"(Jn.8:32).

InRevelation3:7,itiswritten:

AndtotheangelofthechurchinPhiladelphiawrite;Thesethingssaithhethatisholy,hethatistrue,hethathaththekeyofDavid,hethatopeneth,andnomanshutteth;andshutteth,andnomanopeneth;

JesusistheOnethatopensandnomanshuts;whenHeshuts,nomanopens.HeopenedthewombofSarah,Rebekah,Rachel,Hannah,Elizabeth,andmanyothersincontemporarytimes.So,thereisakeyinHishandwithwhichHeopensclosedwombsandwhenHeopens,noteventhedevilcanshutthem!Isaiah43:13says:

Yea,beforethedaywasIamhe;andthereisnonethatcandeliveroutofmyhand:Iwillwork,andwhoshallletit?

WhenGodisatwork,noforcecandistractorstopHim.Heisstillatworktoday,openingupthewombsthatthedevilhasshut.IfHediditsocheaplyforRachel,HeisstillthesameGodtodayandwilldothesameforyou!

Itdoesnotmatterforhowlongyouhavesearchedforachild,orhowhopelessthedoctor'sdiagnosisappears.Genesis18:14says,"IsanythingtoohardfortheLord?"Ifyouransweris"No",thenyouareonyourwaytoreceivingyourmiracle!However,incaseyouareinasituationinwhichyouarenottoosureifitistoohardforGodornot,HesuppliestheanswerforyouinJeremiah32:27:

Behold,IamtheLord,theGodofallflesh:isthereanythingtoohardforme?

So,yourcaseissettled!Godwhocouldlookata100-year-oldmanandhiswifeof90andask,"IsanythingtoohardfortheLord?"isstrongenoughforyoutosettledownwith.Thinkaboutit,theBiblecallsHimtheOmnipotentGod!InHishandisallthepowersofheavenandearth.Hesitsuponthecirclesoftheearth,doingwhatHepleases.

ThatsameGodsaysthatyourcaseisnottoohardforHimtohandle.So,rejoice!However,Hesayssomethingveryprophetic,"...Attheappointedtime,Iwillreturnuntothee,accordingtothetimeoflife"(Gen.18:14).Thatistosay,"Inninemonthstime,Iwillvisityou."

IbelievethatGodwillkeepHisappointmentwithyou.Hewilleraseyourdisappointmentsofoldandturnyourcaptivitythroughthisbook.Allyouhavetodo,however,isreceivetheteachingasa

babe;becauseGodhaschosentorevealHismysteriestobabes,buthashiddenthemfromthewiseandprudent.So,openupforanencounterandyouwillnotmissyourtimeofvisitation!

Chapter1:CreatedToBeFruitful

Atcreation,Godinitiatedacovenantoffruitfulnesswithman.Hesaidtohim:

...Befruitful,andmultiply,andreplenishtheearth,andsubdueit:andhavedominionoverthefishofthesea,andoverthefowloftheair,andovereverylivingthingthatmovethupontheearth.Genesis1:28

Immediatelythosewordswereuttered,everythingmanneededtomakehimfruitfulwasdepositedinsidehim.WhatGodsaidatthebeginningisstillinforcetoday,andnothingcantamperwithit.Hesaidtothefishes:

...Befruitful,andmultiply,andfillthewatersintheseas...Genesis1:22

Thewatersarestillbeingfilledwithfishes,inspiteofallthefishingexpeditionsgoingonaroundtheworld!

ItisthatsameGodthatcommandedmantobefruitful.Youarenotcreatedtobebarren.Youarebydesignaveryfruitfulbeing.Nobiologicalreasonshouldbestrongenoughtokeepyoufromhavingchildrenifitisyourdesire,becausefruitfulnessisyourrightbycreation!

GodwillnottellyoutobewhatHehasnotmadeyoutobe.Therefore,whenHesaid,"Befruitful",itmeans,"Ihavemadeyoufruitful,sogoandmultiplytothedegreeyoudesire."

TheOriginOfBarrenness

WhenGodblessedAdamatthebeginning,itwasnotonlyhim,buteveryonethatwastocomeafterhim.So,youwerethereinAdamwhenGodmadethatpronouncement.Thatiswhyyoucanpluginandreceiveyourownmiraclerightnow!AndIseeithappeningforyou!

NoticealsothatnotonlywasAdamblessed,butGoddidnotmakeprovisionsforhishealing.ThisisbecausemanwascreatedinGod'simage,immunetoanyformofsickness.Allheneededwasfoodforthenourishmentofhisbody,notfordrugs.Manwascompleteatthebeginning.Inlikemanner,therewasnomentionofbarrennessatthebeginning;therefore,noprovisionwasmadeforitscure.Sohowdidbarrennessgainentranceintohumanity?

Sin

AfterGodestablishedthecovenantoffruitfulnesswiththemanHehadmade,thedevilcame,temptedhimandhefell.Withhisfall,theplanofGodforfruitfulnesswascorrupted.Sincamealongandwithitbarrenness.Thatiswhybarrennessisanaturalthingwithsinners.Untilthesinproblemhasbeendealtwith,nosinnercanbefreefrombarrenness.

Wherefore,asbyonemansinenteredintotheworld,anddeathbysin;andsodeathpasseduponallmen,forthatallhavesinned:Romans5:12

Theplagueofbarrennesscameintotheworldasaconsequenceofoneman'ssin.WhenAdamandEvefell,acursewasplacedontheminGenesis3:16:

Untothewomanhesaid,Iwillgreatlymultiplythysorrowandthyconception;insorrowthoushaltbringforthchildren;andthydesireshallbetothyhusband,andheshallruleoverthee.

Theword"sorrow"doesnotjustmeanthesorrowoflabourduringchildbirth,butalsothatmanywillweepandsorrowbeforeconception.Thiswasthecasewithawomaninourchurchwhowasbarrenfor15years.Inhertestimony,shesaid:

"Itisabreakthrough!Fifteenyearsofbarrennessbroken,bythepowerintheanointingoil!TherewasnothingIdidn'tdomedically.IevenlefttheshoresofNigeriaforEngland,allinsearchofachild.Ididtesttube,IdidGIFT(GameteIntraFertilizationTransfer),butnoresult.

IcamebacktoNigeriafrustratedanddejected.ThenIwasnotbornagain,Iwasamiracleseeker.Ididn'tknowtheWordofGod.

IwasinvitedhereinFebruary1997,fortheBreakthroughSeminar.IthankGodforthatopportunity,becauseitwasthenIdiscovered,afterhearingtheWordofGodfromtheBishop,thatIhadbeenamiracleseeker.Idiscoveredthattherewasnopowerinseekingaftermiracles,thatitwasonlywhenoneknowstheWordofGodthatonecanhaveabreakthrough.

IboughtsomeoftheBishop'sbooks,including,DynamicsofHoliness,AnointingForBreakthroughandTheMysteryOfTheAnointingOil.Isettleddownwiththebooksandthoroughlyreadthem.

AftertheBreakthroughSeminar,IalsoattendedtheBreakthroughNight,wherewehadanencounterwiththesevenspiritsofGod.WewereanointedwiththesevenspiritsofGod,and

thereandthenIknewIwaspregnant!

Thatnight,GodusedtheBishopasapointofcontact.Ihadadreamandinthatdream,IsawtheBishopwithabeautifulchild.Hesaidtome,`Doyoulovethischild?'Isaid`Yes',andhesaid,`Let'shaveaprayerofagreement.'Itwasadream,butithasbecomeareality.

Wehadaprayerofagreement,andbehold,inMarch,IdiscoveredthatIwaspregnant!Lastyearwasouryearofdoublehonour.Marchwasmybirthday,alsoinMarch,Icelebratedtheconceptionofthischild!HereamI,withmymiraclebaby,Joy!"

Thistestimonyisaproofthatforbarrennesstoleave,sin,therootcause,mustfirstbedestroyed.

TheCurseOfTheLaw

Cursedshallbethefruitofthybody,andthefruitofthyland,theincreaseofthykine,andtheflocksofthysheep.Deuteronomy28:18

Anothermajorsourceofbarrennessisthecurseofthelaw.WhenMoseslaidbeforethechildrenofIsraelblessingsforobeyingthelawsofGod,andcursesfordisobedience,barrennesswaslistedasoneofthecurses.ThatiswhythatScripturesays,"Cursedshallbethefruitofthybody..."meaning,"nothingwillcomeoutofyourbody"becauseitiscursed.

Whenamanisnotbornagain,thereisnowayhecanobeythelawsofGod;soheisautomaticallyunderthecursesofthelaw.Hismaynotbeacaseofbarrenness,butthatofheadaches,bodyitches,oranyoftheotherplaguescataloguedinDeuteronomy28fromverse15.Thus,aslongasyouarenotbornagain,youliveperpetuallyunderthecursesofthelaw,andcanbeafflictedatwill.

A42-year-oldcurseofbarrennesswashangingoverabrother'sFamilyandanotherhadlowspermcount.Butthemomentthecursewasbroken,theyweredelivered.

"Igotmarriedin1995andsincethen,we'vebeenbelievingGodforthefruitofthewomb.OnApril21,1997,mymothercalledmeandtoldmeofaparticularcurseintheFamily.Shesaidweshouldpraythatitwouldeludeus.IImmediatelytoldher,`TelleverybodyIwillbethefirstpersontobreakthatcurse.'IknewwhoIam—acovenantchild.IrememberthatwasthedaytheBreakingTheCursesOfLifeteachingsbeganinchurch,bydivinearrangement.

Aboutamonthbeforemymothertoldmethis,onMarch4,therewasapowerfulimpartationhereinchurch.Icame,verypregnantwithexpectationthatday,becausewhileinvitingpeoplefortheprogramme,theBishophadsaidweshouldbringanythingthatwasbarrenaroundus.Thewayhemadetheannouncement,ifIhadanybarrendogoranyotherpetathome,Iwouldhavebroughtthemfortheservicethatday.

Wheneverthebarrenarecalledouttobeprayedforinchurch,mywifewouldalwaysaskmeifIcameout.ButIwouldtellherno,becauseGodhadnotcalledmebarren.Idon'tusuallygooutwhenthebarrenarecalledout,butonthatfatefulday,IwassopregnantwithexpectationthatIwentout.IknewmywifeandIcaughtsomethingthatday.

ThecurseintheFamilyisthateveryfirstbornoftheFamilynevergetsmarried.Iftheydobyanychance,theyneverhavechildren.Ithadbeenonfor42years,wedon'tknowwhoplacedit

andwhy.AllIknowisthatIwastheseventhvictim.IlookedattheFamilylineageandsawmyotherolderrelatives,thosewhowerenotmarriedandthosewhoweremarriedanddidn'thavechildren.Oneparticularoneissopronounced;shehasbeenmarriedfor17yearswithnochildyet.

FourdaysaftertheBreakingTheCursesOfLifeteachingended,mywifebegantofeelfunny.Shewenttothehospitalandwasdiagnosedpregnant!ShedeliveredonDecember5.ShehadababyboyDavidOluwasegunFolorunsho."

Atcreation,whenGodblessedAdam,Hegavehimdominionoveralltheearth.Adamwasthegodoftheworld,hewasabsolutelyincharge.Butwhenhefell,hesoldhisbirthrighttoSatanandSatanbecamethegodofthisworld.

Inwhomthegodofthisworldhathblindedthemindsofthemwhichbelievenot,lestthelightofthegloriousgospelofChrist,whoistheimageofGod,shouldshineuntothem.2Corinthians4:4

WhenSatancameonthescene,asGod'sarch-enemy,hewasdeterminedtocorruptthebeautyofGod'screation;sohebeganafflictingandoppressinghumanity.Alltheevilyouseeintheworldtodayandeverythingshortofperfectionarethehandiworksofthedevil.ThatwaswhyJesussaidinMatthew19:8:

...Butfromthebeginningitwasnotso.

Thismeansthatthehorrorofbarrennessandallotherwoesofmankindevidenttoday,aretraceabletoSatan.

AsImentionedearlier,manwascreatedahealthybeing.Butwhentheenemytookoverauthority,hecorruptedman'snatureandmanbecameavictimofsickness,diseaseandbarrenness.

Therefore,thatstateofunfruitfulnessisnotbiologicalorhereditary,butsatanic!Itistheworkoftheenemy.Godtemptsnomanwithevil(James1:13);ratherallgoodandperfectgiftscomefromHim.Justasaspringcannotbringforthbothsweetandbitterwaters,GodcannotbeloosingyouifHeistheOnebindingyou.Heisnotbehindthatbarrenness,itisclearlyanoppressionofSatan.

Anotherparableputheforthuntothem,saying,Thekingdomofheavenislikeneduntoamanwhichsowedgoodseedinhisfield:Butwhilemenslept,hisenemycameandsowedtaresamongthewheat,andwenthisway.

Butwhenthebladewassprungup,andbroughtforthfruit,thenappearedthetaresalso.Sotheservantsofthehouseholdercameandsaiduntohim,Sir,didstnotthousowgoodseedinthyfield?fromwhencethenhathittares?Hesaiduntothem,Anenemyhathdonethis...Matthew13:24-28

Thatisthedevilatwork!IbelievethatAdamwasspirituallyasleepwhenEvegavehimthefruittoeat,becausethereisnorecordofanyformofresistanceonhispart.Whenheatetheforbiddenfruit,

hegaveSatanaccessintoGod'sbeautifulcreation.Therefore,everythingcontrarytoGod'soriginalpurposeforyourlifeistheworkoftheenemy.

Barrennessissatanic.Itisnotscientific.Scientifictreatmentscanrarelyhandleit.Forinstance,wehavebeentoldbymedicalsciencethatbeforeachildisproduced,thefemaleegg(ovum)mustbefertilisedbythemalespermcells(spermatozoa).ButwefindintheWordofGodaninstanceofsupernaturalconception,whenJesuswastobeborn.TheBiblesimplysays,

"TheHolyGhostshallcomeuponthee,andthepoweroftheHighestshallovershadowthee:thereforealsothatholythingwhichshallbebornoftheeshallbecalledtheSonofGod"(Lk.1:35).

Therewasnomentionofamalespermcellmeetingafemaleegg.Jesuscamealivecontrarytobiologicaltheoriesandlaws.

ItisalsoawellknownfactthatSarahhadpassedtheageofmenopause.TheBiblesaidthatithadceasedtobewithherafterthemannerofwomen(Gen.18:11);yet,Isaaccameforth.Therefore,Christistheanswertothecrisisofbarrenness.

"BeforeIcametothischurch,Ihadhadtwopregnancies.Inthetwopregnancies,thebabiesdiedinmywombintheninthmonth,afterbleeding.Thedoctorthenadvisedmenottobepregnantagain,thatImightdieifithappensagain.ItoldhimthatIhadalreadydecidedtostopevenbeforehisadvice.

ButwhenIcameintothischurch,Ibegantoheardiversetestimonies.AndtheBishopwillalwayssay,`Godisnotarespecterofpersons.'Isaidtomyself,`Oh,megogetbelle.'

So,wheninMarchlastyeartheBishoptoldthoseseekingthefruitofthewombtocomeout,Icameout.Myhusbandtoldme,`Doyourememberwhatthedoctorsaid?'Isaid,`DoctorisnotmyGod.Don'tyouheardifferenttestimonieshere?'TheBishopprophesiedthatday,saying,`Thispregnancyyouaregoingtocarry,youwillcarryitandwillnotknowthatyoucarriedanypregnancy;andonthedayoflabour,youwillnothavepain,youwillnothavelabour.'Iclaimedtheprophecy.

WhenIwasduetodeliver,Ijustwokeupatabouttwoo'clockinthemorningandbegantofeelfunny.IwenttomyhusbandandtoldhimIwasgoingtohavemybaby.Hewassurprised.ItoldhimthattheBishophadprophesiedthatnopain,nolabour.

Wetrekkeddowntothehospital,andIwasevenfasterthanhim.Ongettingtothehospital,wemettwonurses.Myhusbandsaid,`Nodoctor!Whoisgoingtodeliveryou?'Isaid,`Notthesenurses.Itis

God.'AndtothegloryofGod,under30minutes,Iputtobed!IwantedababygirlandIgotone!"

YourRedemptiveRights

ThecomingofJesussignalledtherestorationofbeautytoman.Psalm149:4says,"...Hewillbeautifythemeekwithsalvation."So,youarenolongeramanorwomantobepitied,butacreatureofenvy.Ifyouhavebeensaved,knowthatyourbeautyhasbeenrestoredspiritually.Allyouhavetodoistomakeitrealbytheoperationofyourfaith.

ItistruethatbecauseofthecurseofGodonmanatthebeginning,manyhavehadtoweeptogetchildren.ButwhenJesusdied,GodsawthetravailofHissoul.AndbecauseGodwassatisfied,Heavertedthecurse.

YetitpleasedtheLordtobruisehim;hehathputhimtogrief:whenthoushaltmakehissoulanofferingforsin,heshallseehisseed,heshallprolonghisdays,andthepleasureoftheLordshallprosperinhishand.Heshallseeofthetravailofhissoul,andshallbesatisfied:byhisknowledgeshallmyrighteousservantjustifymany;forheshallbeartheiriniquities.Isaiah53:10-11

Thepriceforyourbarrennesshasbeenfullypaid.YouhavecomeundertheatoningbloodofChrist,thereforeyouarefreefrombarrenness.

Romans6:14says:Forsinshallnothavedominionoveryou:foryearenotunderthelaw,butundergrace.

So,sincannothavedominionoveryou;andifitcannot,howmuchmorebarrenness,whichisaconsequenceofsin.

Also,notethatredemptiondoesnotonlyincludefreedomfromsin,butlibertyfromthecurseofthelawaswell.WhenJesuswascrucified,HenailedyourbarrennesstoHiscross,andblottedoutallthingscontrarytoyourfruithfulnessbyHisblood.Heredeemedyoufromthecurseofthelaw,sothatithasnolegalholdoveryouanylonger.

Christhathredeemedusfromthecurseofthelaw,beingmadeacurseforus:foritiswritten,Cursediseveryonethathangethonatree:ThattheblessingofAbrahammightcomeontheGentilesthroughJesusChrist;thatwemightreceivethepromiseoftheSpiritthroughfaith.Galatians3:13-14

Nowthatyouaresaved,youneedtounderstandthatyouwereburiedwithHiminbaptism,soyoucanrisewithHiminresurrection.Thatmeansyouaretotallysetfreefromtheplagueof

barrenness.

Buriedwithhiminbaptism,whereinalsoyearerisenwithhimthroughthefaithoftheoperationofGod,whohathraisedhimfromthedead.

Andyou,beingdeadinyoursinsandtheuncircumcisionofyourflesh,hathhequickenedtogetherwithhim,havingforgivenyoualltrespasses;Blottingoutthehandwritingofordinancesthatwasagainstus,whichwascontrarytous,andtookitoutoftheway,nailingittohiscross;Colossians2:12-14

Whenyouarebornagain,thepowerofSatanoveryouisbroken.Jesus,byHisdeath,destroyedhimthathadthepowerofdeathSatan.Andnotstoppingthere,Healsoseizedallhispowers.So,Satanhasnopowerleftinhim;allheusestoholdyouboundaresubtlety,devicesandwiles.

Andhavingspoiledprincipalitiesandpowers,hemadeashowofthemopenly,triumphingovertheminit.Colossians2:15

JesuscompletelytriumphedoverSatan;andthatHedidforyou!Thatiswhyhesaid,"Allpowerisgivenuntomeinheavenandinearth"(Matt.28:18).Whenyougiveallthatyouhavetosomebodyelse,youdefinitelyhavenothing,whilehehasallyourthings.ThatishowitiswithSatan;Jesustookovereverythinghehad,sohehasnothingleftwithhimbuttricks.

LestSatanshouldgetanadvantageofus:forwearenotignorantofhisdevices.2Corinthians2:11

However,SatanissoestablishedintheartofdeceptionthatheseeksopportunitytotrapGod'select.Irememberoneday,justbeforeIgotmarried,Satanwhisperedtome,"Nowthatyouhavegoneaboutsettingothersfree,letmeseehowyouwillhaveyourownchildren."ButItoldhim,"Satan,youwillbesurprised,Iwon'tevenprayaboutit."IcouldsaythatconfidentlybecauseIknewbetterthanhim.

GodsaysifIserveHim,thenHeiscommittedtoblessmybreadandwater,takesicknessawayfrommybody,disallowmetobebarrenorsuffermiscarriagesandcausemetofulfilthenumberofmydays(Ex.23:25-26).IunderstoodGod'sprovisionformyliberty,believeditandwalkedintherealityofit,soIcouldboldlysay,"LetGodbetrueandanythreatofSatanorbiologicalassertionsbealie!"

In1985inKaduna,aFamilyhadbeentomanyplacesinsearchofachild.Theheadofthehome,inhistestimonysaid,"Finally,wesettledwithChrist..."Theyhadbeenunsteadypreviously,butwhentheysettleddownwithGod,Hesettledtheircase.

Thereisawickedandcruelgodofthisworld,whosemissionistoopposeGodandHiscreation.ButwhenyousurrenderyourlifetoChrist,acovenantbetweenyouandGodisestablished,causingGodtoputastoptothedevil'sactivities,bringingthecrisesinyourlifetoanend.ConsiderthisScripture:

ForwhatsoeverisbornofGodovercomeththeworld:andthisisthevictorythatovercomeththeworld,evenourfaith.1John5:4

Chapter2:YourCovenantGuarantee

AndyeshallservetheLordyourGod,andheshallblessthybread,andthywater;andIwilltakesicknessawayfromthemidstofthee.Thereshallnothingcasttheiryoung,norbebarren,inthyland:thenumberofthydaysIwillfulfil.Exodus23:25-26

ThereisaplatformyoucanstanduponandcommitGodtoblessandkeepyoufromtheplaguesofmiscarriageandbarrenness.Thatplatformisthecovenant.Itisthemostpotentforceintheworldofthespirit,andastrongholdintheconflictsoflife.

Acovenantisacontractinvolvingtwoormorepeople.Inthiscase,itisbetweenGodandyou;withGodasthecovenantorandyouthecovenantee(asthebeneficiaryofGod'scovenant).FromScripturesweseethatGodkeepscovenants.Heisconstant,whereasmanisvariable.

HesaysinPsalm89:34:MycovenantwillInotbreak,noralterthethingthatisgoneoutofmylips.

Theissueoffruitfulnessisalsooneofsuchcovenants.ThatiswhywhenGodwaspouringoutblessingsonHispeople,HecommittedHimselftotheirfruitfulnesswhenHesaid:

Thoushaltbeblessedaboveallpeople:thereshallnotbemaleorfemalebarrenamongyou,oramongyourcattle.Deuteronomy7:14

Godwassayinginessence,"Iknowthatthereisaforceofbarrennessatworkontheearth,butbecauseyoubelongtoMe,youshallnotbebarrenneithermalenorfemale."ThatisGod'scovenantpackageforyourfruitfulness.ItputsyouonGod'sprioritylist,mandatingyoutoreceiveachildbeforeanyotherperson.Hesaid,"Thoushallbeblessedaboveallpeople..."

AslongasyouareachildofGod,youareentitledtochildrenonthebasisofthecovenant.Fruitfulnessisnotreservedexclusivelyforfewluckypeople,becauseasfarasGodisconcerned,weareapeopleofequaldestiny.Weallareequallyentitledtothebenefitsofthecovenant.

Don'tallyourchildrenhaveequalaccesstoyourpossessions?Whateveryouownisavailabletoallyouroffspringequally.ThatispreciselyhowitiswithGod.Nobodyisluckier.Understandingisthedifferencebetweensomebodythecovenantisworkingforandtheoneitisnotworkingfor.

Youneedaworkingknowledgeofthecovenanttoenjoyitsfull

benefits.ItisquitepossibletobeservingGodwithoutreceivinganyrewards.Rememberhowitwaswiththeelderbrotheroftheprodigalson.Hewasahardworker,butanignorantone.Everythingthatbelongedtohisfatherwashisbyright,buthedidnotknowwhataccruedtohim,sohekepttoilingwithoutresults.

ManyChristiansarelikethattoday.TheydonotknowthatwhenyouareincovenantwithGod,youareunbeatable;becauseapplyingyourselftothetermsofthecovenantcommitsGodtoactonyourbehalf.ItcompelsHimtostepintoyoursituationandyouknowthatnothingcanwithstandHispresence.Mountains,hills,rivers,seas,etc.,cannotwithstandHispresence.ThatiswhyIsaidearlierthatthecovenantisthemostpowerfulforceintheworld.

WhenIsraelwentoutofEgypt,thehouseofJacobfromapeopleofstrangelanguage;Judahwashissanctuary,andIsraelhisdominion.Theseasawit,andfled:Jordanwasdrivenback.Themountainsskippedlikerams,andthelittlehillslikelambs.Whatailedthee,Othousea,thatthoufleddest?thouJordan,thatthouwastdrivenback?Yemountains,thatyeskippedlikerams;andyelittlehills,likelambs?Tremble,thouearth,atthepresenceoftheLord,atthepresenceoftheGodofJacob;Psalm114:1-7

TheTermsOfTheCovenant

Acovenanthastermswhichmustbefulfilledbeforecertainattendantbenefitscanfollow.Itisnotapromiseyouclaiminprayer,oradesireyouenforcebyfasting;itisacovenantwhichmustbepractised.

AgroupofpeopleenteredintoacovenantwiththeLordin2Chronicles15andencounteredrestonallsides.Fromtheaccount,wediscoverthattheydidnotneedtocry,confess,prayorfasttoenjoytherestofGod.Theyonlyneededtoenterintothecovenant.

...ForalongseasonIsraelhathbeenwithoutthetrueGod,andwithoutateachingpriest,andwithoutlaw.Andinthosetimestherewasnopeacetohimthatwentout,nortohimthatcamein,butgreatvexationswereuponalltheinhabitantsofthecountries.AndtheyenteredintoacovenanttoseektheLordGodoftheirfatherswithalltheirheartandwithalltheirsoul;AndallJudahrejoicedattheoath:fortheyhadswornwithalltheirheart,andsoughthimwiththeirwholedesire;andhewasfoundofthem:andtheLordgavethemrestroundabout.2Chronicles15:3,5,12,15

TheyenteredintoacovenantwithGodandHegavethemrestroundabout.Thatwillbethelotofanyonealso,whocarestosigninforthecovenantoffruitfulness.Godwillgivehimorherrestfrombarrenness!

UnderstandthatonHispartGodhassetthestageforyourfruitfulness.Allyouarerequiredtodoistodiscoveryourpartinit,andthepowertorealisethebenefitswillbedeliveredtoyou.

ConsiderthegreatmanofGod,KennethE.Hagin,whosaidhehasnothadeventheslightestheadacheforover60years!Heisover80now,yetheisstillstrongenoughtopreachatmeetingsregularlyandalsodrivehiscarhimself!Thatgivesyouanideaofthevalidity,infallibilityandimmutabilityofthecovenant.Thecovenantheisstandingonalsoguaranteessupernaturalprovisions,divinehealth,longlifeandfruitfulness(Ex.23:25-26).

GodiseternallycommittedtoallHiscovenants;Hedoesnotbreakoralterthem.IrememberwhenIdiscoveredthecovenantofabundancefromGod'sWord,IknewwithoutadoubtthatIhadescapedtheclutchesofpoverty.Ipositionedmyselfforthatcovenant,anditbegantoworkforme.

WhatfiredmeupinmysearchforGod'sprovisionforabundanceiscontainedinJeremiah33:20-21.Wheninsightdawnedonme,Ishouted,"I'vefoundit!"Isawhowstrongthecovenantcouldbe.Isawthatexceptyoucanstopthedayandthenightfromexchangingpositions,youcannotcauseGod'scovenanttofail.Therefore,aslongastheearthremains,God'scovenant(ofanykind)isinforceforever!

ThussaiththeLord;Ifyecanbreakmycovenantoftheday,andmycovenantofthenight,andthatthereshouldnotbedayandnightintheirseason;ThenmayalsomycovenantbebrokenwithDavidmyservant,thatheshouldnothaveasontoreignuponhisthrone;andwiththeLevitesthepriests,myministers.Jeremiah33:20-21

Thatmeansthatnomatterthesatanicobstaclesonyourpathtofruitfulness,God'scovenant,whichissuperiortoalloppositionsontheearth,isyoureternalguaranteeforchildren!Whatarethefactorsthatmakethecovenantoffruitfulnesseffective?

Consecration

Therighteousshallflourishlikethepalmtree:heshallgrowlikeacedarinLebanon.Theyshallstillbringforthfruitinoldage;theyshallbefatandflourishing;Psalm92:12,14

BlessedisthemanthatfeareththeLord,thatdelightethgreatlyinhiscommandments.Hisseedshallbemightyuponearth:thegenerationoftheuprightshallbeblessed.Psalm112:1-2

God'sWordmakesitclearthatrighteousnessorconsecrationprovokesGod'sblessings.Thefruitofthewombisamongthoseblessings.EveryblessingofGodisreservedfortherighteous,thosewhoarewalkingwithGodinintegrityandtruth,thosethatfeartheLord.

Therefore,itistimetoreturntotheLordintruth.YoucannotberunningafteroneherbalistsomewhereandexpecttoenjoyGod'scovenantoffruitfulness.ThatiswhyJesussaidyoucannotservetwomastersatthesametime;youcannotbeintwoplacesatatime.Jesusistheonlyway,notoneoftheways.Heisthedoorofthesheep,throughwhichamanmayenterandfindpasture.

Theirsorrowsshallbemultipliedthathastenafteranothergod:theirdrinkofferingsofbloodwillInotoffer,nortakeuptheirnamesintomylips.Psalm16:4

Manypeoplehaveundertakenriskyandfrustratingjourneys,allinsearchofchildren.Thedeviltakesadvantageofthem.ButuntilamanorwomanfindshisplaceinChrist,hecanneverbefreefromcrisis.Youareonlycheatedwhenyouarelivingoutsideyourfather'shouse.Remembertheprodigalson?Untilhereturnedbackhome,hehadnohope.

Friend,thereisacovenantpackagethatguaranteesyourfruitfulness;butitisonlyforthesonsofGod.Consecrationisthefoundationforthecovenanttoworkinyourfavour.

NeverthelessthefoundationofGodstandethsure,havingthisseal,TheLordknoweththemthatarehis.And,LeteveryonethatnameththenameofChristdepartfrominiquity.2Timothy2:19

God'sfoundationcanneverbechanged.Italwayshasbeenandalwayswillbe;andwhosoeverbuildsonitissureofafutureoffruitfulnessinGod.Thetestimonybelowisaproofoftheveracityofthecovenanttermsofconsecration.

WeseetwoimmutableforcesatworkinacovenantGodandHisoath.AsfarasGodisconcerned,bothHimselfandHisoathcarrythesamedegreeofforce,theyweighthesame.Therefore,onceyoufulfiltheconditionofbeinginservicetoGod,youhavecommittedHimtoblessandmakeyoufruitful.

So,ifyouareastewardinGod'skingdom,thisisyourhourforrewards!GodhasaplantodistinguishbetweenthosethatareservingHimandthosethatarenot.AsyouserveHim,Hewilldefinitelydistinguishyou.

Chapter3:GetRidOfThoseObstacles!

God'sgreatestheart'sdesireisthatyourmiraclegetstoyou.Buttherearesomemajorobstaclesorstoneswhichmustbetakenoutofthewayfirstbeforethatcanhappen.TheseimpedimentsarealsodevicesofSatantohinderGod'sinterventioninyoursituation.Iwillidentifythemandonceyouareabletosuccessfullyrollthemaway,yourtestimonyisguaranteed.

Unbelief

UnbeliefmeansalackofbelieforfaithinGodorinHisabilitytomakeyoufruitful.ItalwaysplacesalimitonGod,becauseGodcannotgooutsideHisWordtohelpyou.

HisWordsays,"Accordingtoyourfaithbeituntoyou"(Matt.9:29).WeseethishappeninJesus'ministry:

Andhecouldtheredonomightywork,savethathelaidhishandsuponafewsickfolk,andhealedthem.Mark6:5

JesuscouldnotdomightyworksinHisowncountrybecauseoftheirunbelief.ItstoodonHiswayasamightyobstacleandwouldnotletHimhaveaccesstothepeople.Likewise,untilthestoneofunbeliefisrolledawayfromyourheart,yourmiraclecannotreachyou.Therefore,itistimetogetoutofunbeliefandtoenterintofaith.Remember,faithguaranteesvictory.

TheAgeFactor

Anotherobstaclethedevilplacesbeforepeopletohinderthemfromreceivingtheirdesiredmiracleisage.Heliestothem,"Itistoolate,youhavepassedtheageofchildbearing.Yourcaseisclosed."Butthatisalie!Rememberwhat

Genesis21:2says:ForSarahconceived,andbareAbrahamasoninhisoldage,atthesettimeofwhichGodhadspokentohim.

Therefore,ageisnotarelevantfactorinyourquestforthefruitofthewomb.GodvisitedSarahasHehadsaid.HediduntoherasHehadspoken,notaccordingtothethinkingofthepeopleorwhatthepeoplesaid.Thisinsightshouldhelpyouattackalldistractionsofhell.AnytimeSatancomestoharassyouwithyourage,askyourself,"AmIasoldasSarah?IfGodcoulddountoSarahasHehadsaid,andvisitherasHehadspoken,thenHewilldomine,myagenotwithstanding."

Manyinnocentmenandwomenhavefoundthemselvesenslavedtoscientificfactsandscanreports.Intheschooloffaith,scienceisnotafriend,butanenemythatmustbeconfronted.Youmaybelikethatwomanwhohadbeenbarrenfor15yearsandhaddonealltypesofhighlysophisticatedtests,yetnothingworkedforyou.ButthegoodnewsisthatthereisasolutioninChristJesus.

YoucanlosecontactwithGodwhenyouareoverlydevotedtothefactsofscience.ThefactsofsciencearefallacieswhichdonotgotogetherwiththetruthofGod'sWord.Forinstance,yougoforatestandthediagnosissaysfibroid.Youreturnhomeandannouncetoyourhusband,"Ihavefibroid";itthenbecomesyourinheritance,yourprivatepossession.Byrepeatingitoften,youarebuttressingandreinforcingthedoctor'sdiagnosisandsoitstaysputinyourbody.

Bepersuadedthatscienceisnotafriend,butanenemythatmustbeconfronted.Itdealswithfacts,whilewelivebyfaith;itisinnowaysuperiortofaith.

Afterthebirthofmyfirstson,mycousinwhoisamedicaldoctorcametothehouseoneday,lookedatthebabyandsaid,

"BrotherDavid,yoursonhasjaundice."Ireplied,"Mysoncannothavejaundice."Thatgothimveryangry,sohesaidtome,"Lookathiseyes."WhenIwouldnot,hesaid,"Okayoh!"Thatendedthematter.

Donotlettheenemytakeyouforarideanymore.Aslongasyouarebornagain,knowthatyoubelongtoabetterandstrongercovenant,soyourlifeshouldbemorecolourful.

Youmustavoidputtingyourtrustinscantestsandx-rays;theyaredestroyersofhopeandtightenthenooseroundyourneck.StaywithGodandbelieveHisWord.Afterall,theOnewhomademanshouldknowhowbesttosustainhim.Scienceisalwaysopposedtothetruth,sodonotsubmittoitsauthority.

TraditionAndPhilosophiesOfMen

Bewarelestanymanspoilyouthroughphilosophyandvaindeceit,afterthetraditionofmen,aftertherudimentsoftheworld,andnotafterChrist.Colossians2:8

Whenyouagreewithtradition,youmaketheWordofGodineffectiveinyourlife.Toholdontotraditionistomissthetruth.Traditioncanbedefinedasatale,belieforpracticehandeddown;itisalsoalong-establishedbelieforcustom.

Philosophyistheinvestigationofthenatureofbeing,knowledgeofthecausesandeffectsofallthings,reasoning,etc.Itisdangerousbecauseitrobsyouofyourinheritance.Manypeopleareyettoreceivetheirmiraclesbecausetheylistentophilosophiesofmen.

Onetraditionthathaspreventedmanyfrombeingfruitfulisthatbleedingstopsafterconception.So,themomentawomanbeginstobleedafterconception,shebelievesthepregnancyislost.ButoneofmydaughtersintheLordbledforfourandahalfmonthsafterconception,yetshegavebirthtoababyboyatthefullnessoftime.

Traditionsays,"Whenyouseeblood,thebabyisgone";butthetruthsays,"WhatsoevertheLorddoeth,itshallbeforever.Iwillworkandwhoshallletit?WhenIopenthedoor,whocanshutit?"

Sometimeago,awomancametome,shivering.Shesaidshehadhadamiscarriage.WhenIaskedherhowsheknew,shesaidshehadbeenbleeding.So,Iaskedher,"Whatdoyouhaveinside,ababyorblood?"Shelookedatmeandsmiled.Iadded,"IfIcutmyselfnowwitharazorblade,whatwillcomeout?"Shesaid,"Blood."SoIaskedher,"HaveIthenhadamiscarriage?"Shelaughed.Ithentoldher,"It'salieofthedevil,youdon'thaveamiscarriage."Withthat,sheleftandthepregnancywassupernaturallysustained.

Godsays,"Youarepregnantnow!"Itwillamounttoaninsulttoriseuptomorrow,andbecauseofsomeslightbleeding,yousay,"Idon'tthinkIampregnant."Thereportyouchoosetobelievewilldetermineyouroutcome.

Whohathbelievedourreport?andtowhomisthearmoftheLordrevealed?Isaiah53:1

Whenmywifetoldmethatshehadhadamiscarriagewhenshewaspregnantforourfirstson,itwasnotaquestionofhowshefelt.Thatwasnotanissue,becauseIknewbetterthanthat.Ididnot

flinch!

Hearthis:inspiteofwhateverbloodyousee,yourbabyisintact.Thebloodyouseeisnotmiscarriage,youaretheonewhogaveitaname.Ifamancutshimselfwitharazorandbloodstartscomingout,doesitmeanhehashadamiscarriage?Isitbloodyouarepregnantwithorachild?

Thatyouseebloodhasnothingtodowiththechildinyourwomb.Whatyouseeisjustexcessbloodlookingforawaytoflowout.ThegiftsandcallingsofGodarewithoutrepentance.Hewon'tmakeyoupregnantandcauseyoutoloseitagain.ChildrenareablessingfromtheLord.WhateverGodhasblessedpeoplewith,Hedoesn'twithdraw.

Everyonewhoendsuphavingamiscarriagewasinformedbythiserroneoustraditionalview.Bleeding,asfarasGod'sWordisconcerned,isnotthesamethingasababy.Donotloseyourmiracletotradition.

Anotherformoftraditionorphilosophyofmeniswhensomepeoplemaycallyoutoask,"Howcanyoukeepsayingthatyouhaveababywhenthereisnothing?"Whenyousaybyfaiththatyouarepregnant,theysay,"Stopsayingthat.Youhavebeensayingsoforthepastfourmonths.Whereisthepregnancy?Howhaveyoubeenfeeling?Anyvomitting?Doyoufeeldizzyinthemorning?"Ifyousay,"No",theythenconclude,"Youarenotpregnant."

God'sWordsays,"Beware,lestanymanridyouofyourinheritance..."Therearesomewhocanquoteallmannerofphilosophies,butwhodon'tknowthetruthoftheWordofGod,sotheyarerobbedoftheirinheritance.

DestroyingAllAlternatives

GodisajealousGod.HewillnotshareHisglorywithanyotherpersonorthing.Hewon'tshareitwithanythinginyourhouse(likeanidol)oranythingunderyourpillow(likeacharm),allforthepurposeofgettingachild.WhateverelseyouputyourtrustinactsasahindrancetoHisdivineintervention.

Thoushalthavenoothergodsbeforeme.Thoushaltnotmakeuntotheeanygravenimage,oranylikenessofanythingthatisinheavenabove,orthatisintheearthbeneath,orthatisinthewaterundertheearth:Thoushaltnotbowdownthyselftothem,norservethem:forItheLordthyGodamajealousGod,visitingtheiniquityofthefathersuponthechildrenuntothethirdandfourthgenerationofthemthathateme;Exodus20:3-5

ForyoutoenjoyGod'sfavour,itisveryimportantthatyouunderstandHisjealousnature.GodwillnotshareHisglorywithgravenimages.Therefore,aslongasHedoesnothaveyourfullattention,Hebacksoutofyourcase.

PeopleoftheworldclaimthattheBiblesays,"Heavenhelpsthosewhohelpthemselves."Butthatisaphilosophyofmen;itdoesnotholdwaterwithGod.TheanointedWordofGodsays,"Iwillliftupmineeyesuntothehills,fromwhencecomethmyhelp"(Ps.121:1).Godhatesdoubledealing,youareeitheralloutforHimornot(James1:6-8).Itistimetodestroyallalternatives,beforetheyultimatelydestroyyourdestiny.

InHisomnipotence,GoddoesnotrefercasesthatcometoHimtoanyoneelse;HeiswellabletohandleallthatcometoHim.Heisalwaysuptoanytask,nomatterhowimpossibleitmayappear.Itisthereforefoolishnesstolooktoanyothersource,becauseGodismorethanable.

Mysoul,waitthouonlyuponGod;formyexpectationisfromhim.Psalm62:5

SomepeoplehavenotbeenabletosecureGod'sinterventionbecausetheyarebankingontheirfinancialabilitytosecuresophisticatedmedicalassistance.Forsomeothers,theirtrustisintheirrelations,whoarereputablegynecologists.;whileanothergroupofpeopleputtheirtrustinwitchdoctors,whogivedemonicchildren.Butuntilyoudestroyallalternatives,youmayneverseeGodinaction.

ThereasonthedevilpresentsyouwithalternativesissothatyoucanlosetouchwithGod.Sometimeago,Godsaidtome,"Youhavetwoeyes,canyoumakeonetolookupandtheothertolookdownatthesametime?Aslongasyouarelookingtoanyman,donotclaimtobelookinguntoMe."

Theylookeduntohim,andwerelightened:andtheirfaceswerenotashamed.Psalm34:5

ThosewhorelyonGodareneverstranded.Godisacovenantkeeper;Hehasnotchanged.WhenyoubelieveHisreport,HerevealsHismightyhandtoyou.Youmustdestroyallthealternativesyouarerelyingon,andstaywithGoduntilyouranswercomes.

Alternativesaregreatenemiesoffaith.Theyrenderyourfaithineffectual;anduntilfaithisinplace,youcannotexpecttosecuredivineintervention.Therefore,itistimetodestroywhateveralternativesyoumayberelyingonforachild,andputyourtrustsolelyonGod.

TheFeelingOfHopelessness

Fortohimthatisjoinedtoallthelivingthereishope:foralivingdogisbetterthanadeadlion.Ecclesiastes9:4

Whenyouarebornagain,God,bycovenant,guaranteesyoualivinghopeonallissuesoflife.HeistheVineandwethebranches,so,tobejoinedtoHimistobejoinedtothelivingGod;therefore,wearenothopeless.Onethingthedevildoesistotrytoconvinceyouofthehopelessnessofyoursituation.Butyouarenothopeless.

Hebrews11:1stressestheimportanceofhopeinobtainingresults.Nowfaithisthesubstanceofthingshopedfor,theevidenceofthingsnotseen.

Faithgivessubstancetohope,andthatprocessresultsinvictory.Whenhopeismissing,faithcannotproduce.Letmeillustrateitthisway.Beforeachildcanbeborn,amanmustgivesubstancetoawoman.Hopecanbelikenedtothewomanandfaiththeman.Nomatterhowpowerfulamanmaybe,thereisnowayhecanhaveachildwithoutawoman.Inlikemanner,faithwithouthopecannotproduce.

LookatHebrews11:2-3:Forbyittheeldersobtainedagoodreport.

ThroughfaithweunderstandthattheworldswereframedbythewordofGod,sothatthingswhichareseenwerenotmadeofthingswhichdoappear.Faithresultsingoodreports.Itisalsothetoolforframinganybatteredlife.Buttodothat,yourhopemustbeintact.Onceyoulosehope,nomatterhowhardfaithtriestodeliveragoodreporttoyou,itcannot.Thuswhenyoustophoping,youhavestartedlosing.

Everythingthedevildoesistodestroyyourhope.Sohetellsyou,"Everydoctorhastriedandyoutoohavetried,soforgetaboutit.Havingchildrenisnoteverything.Afterallyouaregoingtoheaven."Allthosearetricksaimedatstealingyourvictory,becausethosewhohavechildrenarealsogoingtoheaven;sodonotsettlewiththestatusquo.

Thedevilalsoattemptstodestroyyourhopebyarraigningbeforeyouallthenegativemedicaltestresults,allinabidtomakeyougiveup.Butdonotgiveup,becauseGodwilldoanewthinginyourlife.AslongastheVineisaliveandyouareconnectedtoHim,thereishopeforyou.

Youmayhavebeenmockedbyneighboursandevenrelations.Butatthetimeappointed,GodwillputyourIsaacinyourhands.Andthattimeisnow!

TheWordspokentohimsustainedhishope.WhenyouhangontowhatGodsays,hopewillkeepburstingforthfromyourinside.

LookatyourpresentpositionandplaceitsidebysidewithGod,andyouwilldiscoverhowcheapitistowalkintovictory.

Theanswertobarrennessisnotwithdoctors,scientists,philosophersortraditionalists.NobodyknowstheworksofGod,neitherdoesanyonefullyunderstandthemysteryofprocreation.YouransweriswithGod,whohasautonomyovertheworksofcreation.

Asthouknowestnotwhatisthewayofthespirit,norhowthebonesdogrowinthewombofherthatiswithchild:evensothouknowestnottheworksofGodwhomakethall.Ecclesiastes11:5

Justasthatwomanwhohadbeenbarrenfor15yearsencounteredChrist,destroyedallheralternatives,settleddownwithknowledgeandwasvisitedwithachild,thesamewillbeyourportion,inJesus'name.GodcannotchangeandwithHimisnorespectofpersons.Aslongasyouridyourselfofalltheobstaclesmentionedinthischapter,youaresuretoencounteryourownmiracle!Godisonyourside!

Chapter4:TheKnowledgeFactor

Andhathputallthingsunderhisfeet,andgavehimtobetheheadoverallthingstothechurch,Whichishisbody,thefulnessofhimthatfillethallinall.Ephesians1:22-23

FromtheaboveScripture,itisabundantlyclearthatallthingsareunderthefeetofJesus.Theseincludealldemonicinstallations,satanicstrongholds,witches,wizardsandalldiabolicalpowers.Godhasputallthings,includingyourcase,underHisfeet;notundernatureormedicalscience,butunderHim.

John5:22tellsusthattheFatherjudgethnoman,buthascommittedalljudgementuntotheSon.So,theSonisabsolutelyinchargeoftheaffairsoftheworldtoday.

1John5:7callstheSon(Jesus)theWordofGod.

Fortherearethreethatbearrecordinheaven,theFather,theWord,andtheHolyGhost:andthesethreeareone.

SinceJesusistheWordofGodandallthingsareunderHiscontrol,itmeansthatallthingsareunderthecontroloftheWord(Heb.1:3).

WhenyoubecomeamemberoftheBodyofChrist,allthingsthatconcernyouarenolongerunderthecontrolofsatanicorbiologicalforces,butundertheWordofGod.Thatmeans,onceyouhavetheWordforanything,youareincontrolinthatarea.Forinstance,ifyoureceivetheWordonfruitfulnessandbegintooperatebyit,youhavetheupperhandinyourconflictwithbarrenness.

Yearsback,GodshowedmeamysteryinRevelation5:1-5:

AndIsawintherighthandofhimthatsatonthethroneabookwrittenwithinandonthebackside,sealedwithsevenseals.AndIsawastrongangelproclaimingwithaloudvoice,Whoisworthytoopenthebook,andtoloosethesealsthereof?

Andnomaninheaven,norinearth,neitherundertheearth,wasabletoopenthebook,neithertolookthereon.AndIweptmuch,becausenomanwasfoundworthytoopenandtoreadthebook,neithertolookthereon.Andoneoftheelderssaithuntome,Weepnot:behold,theLionofthetribeofJuda,theRootofDavid,hathprevailedtoopenthebook,andtoloosethesevensealsthereof.

IsawfromthatScripture,thatuntiltheBook(theBible)is

opened,thetearsofmankindwillcontinue;untiltheBookisopenedonaparticularissue,thatissueremainsclosed.Therefore,youmuststronglydesiretheopeningupoftheWordofGodtoyouontheissueoffruitfulness,ifyourcaptivityistobeturned.

ItIsTheInstrumentOfChange

EnduringchangesareresultsofWordencounters.RememberthatGod'sWordissettledforever(Ps.119:89);soithastheabilitytoproducelastingchangesinyourlife.YoucanhavedefinitechangesinyourFamily,finance,ministry,etc,whenGod'sWordonanyofthoseareasgainsentranceintoyourspirit.Thesameistrueintheareaofbarrenness.AsyoudwellonGod'sWordconcerningfruitfulness,thepowerintheWordbeginstoeffectdefinitechangesinyourbody,makingitpossibleforyoutoconceive.

Andthespiritenteredintomewhenhespakeuntome,andsetmeuponmyfeet,thatIheardhimthatspakeuntome.Ezekiel2:2

God'sWordisalsoself-anointed.Theunctionuponithastransformingpower.Ittransformedaonceimpotentman.Inhistestimonyhesaid:

"In1986InoticedthatIhadnotbeenhavingnormalerection.Iconsideredthisasnothing,soItoldnoone,notevenmyparents.Atthistime,Iwasinmysecondyearintheuniversity.IwasinthisconditiontillaftermyNYSC.Thatwaswhenmyparentsgottoknowandfromthen,wetriedallsortsofsources,seekingfordeliverance.

IhadtotravelfromKadunatoNimointheeast,toseekforcure.Intheprocess,itwasthemercyofGodthatsavedmefrombeingusedforrituals.InthechurchIwasattendingthen,somanythingsweregivenmetouse,includingblackmedicines.Somanythousandsofnairawasspentonorthodoxmedicinetoo.

ThiswasmysituationuntilApril1995,whenIfirstattendedLivingFaithChurch.Atthistime,Iwasstillonmyinjections.IboughtacassettetitledProvokingGod'sBlessingsbyBishopDavidAbioye.Afterlisteningtothemessage,Iwenttothebank,withdrew15,000nairaoutofthe16,000nairaIhadinmyaccount,andbroughtitbeforeGod,forthepaintingoftheDominionSanctuarygoingonthen.Iusedtheofferingtoprovokemyhealing.

ThenonedayinOctober,IcametothechurchpremiseswiththeinjectionsIstillhadathome.IprayedtoGodandevenhadtheopportunityofsittingontheBishop'sseat,declaringthatsincemypastor,BishopDavidAbioye,wasnotimpotent,Ihadnothingtodowithimpotence,andbackeditupwiththefollowingScriptures:Matthew15:13,Isaiah53:4-5andDeuteronomy7:14.

WhenIgotupfromtheseat,Iwentoutandbroketheinjectionsandtrampleduponthem,declaringthatIwouldneverusethemagain.AndtothegloryofGod,Iregainedmynormalerectioninthesamemonth,October1995!Bishop

DavidOyedepo,thePresidingBishopfromLagos,wasaroundtodeclaretheFaithConventionopen.AfterhismessagetitledCurseWarfare,hecalledoutallthosebelievingGodforchildren.IwentoutwiththeotherchildrenofGodandheprayedforusandpronouncedGod'sblessingsuponus.

TothegloryofGod,inthemonthoffruitfulness(February1996),mywifeannouncedtomethatshewasfeelinglikeshehadconceived,thoughshewasstillhavinghernormalmenstruation.OnFebruary22,1996,wewentforapregnancytestandthetestturnedouttobenegative.Itoldmywifethattheycouldnotdetectthepregnancyatthatstage.

Afterthat,IkneltdownbeforeGodandanointedtheresult.ThankGodfortheteachingBishopOyedepogaveusonTheLawOfNatureAndTheLawOfTheSpirit.Withthisteachinginmyheart,Ideclaredtheresultastheresultofnature,andthatthelawoftheSpiritsaysthepregnancywasthere.Wewentforasecondtest,whichagainwasnegative.

Allthewhile,mywifewashavinghermenstruationandyethavingallthesignsofpregnancy.Butwhenwedidthethirdpregnancytest,itwasconfirmedthatmywifewaspregnantandthatthepregnancywasabout10weeksold!Sincethenthepregnancyhasbeengrowing,waxingstrongerandstronger."

Oneday,aftersettlingdowntoreadtheentirebookofPsalms,Iknewthatcertainpowerfulchangeshadtakenplaceinmylife.Thatevening,asIministeredtoacouplewhohadbeenlookinguptoGodforachild,somethingsimplyburstforthfrommeandthemanfelltothefloorandbegantorollaroundonthecarpet,saying,"Ididn'tknowitwasforme."Thatrevelationendedtheissueofbarrennessintheirlives.

Ifanyrevelationyouclaimtohavereceivedisnotchangingyoufromglorytoglory,youneedtobewareofit!God'sWordisinspiredtoproduceprofits.

AllscriptureisgivenbyinspirationofGod,andisprofitablefordoctrine,forreproof,forcorrection,forinstructioninrighteousness:2Timothy3:16

ProgrammeYourselfOutOfBarrenness

Acomputerhasvariousprogrammes,alsocalledsoftware.Withoutthissoftware,youcannotrunthecomputer.Softwareisdefinedsimplyasasetofinstructionswrittentosolveaparticularproblem.Justaswehavecomputersoftware,Ibelievewealsohavecovenant"software",whicharecovenantfactswrittentosolveparticularproblems.Untilthesefactsareinplace,problemswillremain.

Andyeshallknowthetruth,andthetruthshallmakeyoufree.John8:32

AmanofGodrightlysaid,"Ihaveconvertedallmyproblemstoprogrammes."Meditatingonthesewords,Icametotheconclusionthatonecanprogrammeoneselfoutofanyprobleminlife,includingbarrenness,nomatterhowdifficultthesituationmaybe.Byusingcovenant"software",youcanconvertbarrennesstofruitfulness.

Woeuntoyou,lawyers!foryehavetakenawaythekeyofknowledge:yeenterednotinyourselves,andthemthatwereenteringinyehindered.Luke11:52

Mostpeoplehaveabunchofkeys.Eachkeyinanybunchisdesignedtoopenaspecificdoor;notjustanykeywillopenanydoor.Andjustasitisinthenatural,toeverybornagainChristian,Godhasdeliveredabunchofkingdomkeys.Eachofthesekeyshavealsobeendesignedtoopenparticulardoors.

Manypeoplewhoarelockedintodaycaneasilybefree,iftheycaretolocatetheappropriatekeytotheirparticularproblem.God'sWordcanbelikenedtoabunchofkeys.However,youreyesneedtobeopenedtothespecifickeyintheWordofGodthatcanopentheshutdoorsofyourlife.

Forinstance,thereisaWordthatguaranteesyourfruitfulness.Allyouhavetodoislocateitandyouwillhaveyouranswerinyourhand.Thisisveryvitalinhandlingoppositions,nomatterhowtoughtheymayappear.YourresponsibilityistodiscoverwhatGodissayinginHisWordaboutthatsituation;becauseuntilyoudo,theobstacleremains.

TheedgewehaveabovethechallengesoflifeisthatweareoperatingtheWord,whichisfromabove;andwhateverisfromabove(theScripturetellsus)isaboveall.Thereforewhenyouissueordersfromabove,allforcesbelowmustobeyyou.

ItimpliesthenthatwithoutasoundunderstandingoftheWordofGod,youarehandicappedinyourconflictagainstbarrenness.TheWordisthewaytovictory!

Luke5:4-7tellsthestoryofsomefishermenwhotoiledallnightwithoutresults.Theirsituationremainedthesame,untiltheyreceivedaWordfromJesus.

Nowwhenhehadleftspeaking,hesaiduntoSimon,Launchoutintothedeep,andletdownyournetsforadraught.AndSimonansweringsaiduntohim,Master,wehavetoiledallthenight,andhavetakennothing:neverthelessatthywordIwillletdownthenet.

ThisnextstepcallsforponderingontheWorduntilfaithisreleased.ManytimesweassumethatonceadiscoveryhasbeenmadeintheWord,faithisinplace.Butfaithdoesnotjumponanyone,itisconsciouslycultivated,andoftentimesitisthroughtheprocessofmeditation.

Thisprocessofmeditationismissinginmanylives,soitappearsasiftheWordisnotworking.Manypeoplehavereaduntiltheyareredintheface,yetthingsremainnegative,becausetheyhavenotponderedontheWorduntilfaithisreleased.

Forinstance,whenyoucomeacrossthisScripturewhatdoyoudo?

Thoushaltbeblessedaboveallpeople:thereshallnotbemaleorfemalebarrenamongyou,oramongyourcattle.Deuteronomy7:14

YoucanspendsometimeplumbingthedepthofthatWorduntilyouarecertainofGod'scovenantoffruitfulness.Thenyoutakeyourplaceinit.Itisnotjustreadingforthesakeofreadingorasifweareinacompetition;itisgettingtotheprofitrealmoftheWordoflife,andthatrequiresmeditation.LookatthesethreeScriptures.

Foruntouswasthegospelpreached,aswellasuntothem:butthewordpreacheddidnotprofitthem,notbeingmixedwithfaithinthemthatheardit.Hebrews4:2

GodexpectsyoutopresenttoHimreasonswhyHeshouldstepintoyourcase.Wheredoyougetthestrongreasonsfrom?FromtheWordofGod!WhenyouareassuredfromHisWordthatchildrenareyourheritageinGod,gotoHimandpresentyourcaseinlinewithyourdiscoveries.

Inconclusion,itisimportanttoreiteratethatthereismoretovictorythanprayer.Knowledgeisthemasterkeythatguaranteesvictoryoverbarrenness.Whenyoucontactlibertybyknowledge,itislibertyindeed.

QuiteanumberofpeoplehaveseenfromtheWordofGodtheirrightstohavingchildren,buttheyhavenotbeenabletoreceivethem.Why?FaithisyouraccesstoGod'sblessings.ThatiswhyHebrews4:2says:

Foruntouswasthegospelpreached,aswellasuntothem:butthewordpreacheddidnotprofitthem,notbeingmixedwithfaithinthemthatheardit.

ItisonethingtohavetheWordandadifferentthingtomixitwithfaithinsideyou.UntiltheWorddiscoveredmixeswithfaith,yourdesiredblessingcannotbedeliveredtoyou.ThinkofthegreatblessingofachildreceivedbyAbrahamandSarah;theirmiraclecameasaresultoftheirgreatfaith.Inspiteofitsseemingimpossibility,bysteppingoutofunbeliefintofaith,Abrahamcrossedoverfromtherealmofimpossibilitiesintothatofpossibilities.Thefaithrealmisthepossibilityrealmoflife.Init,allthingsaremadepossible.

ThatiswhyIknowthestateofyourbodydoesnotmatter.Ifyouwillsimplycomeoutofunbeliefintofaith,allthingswillbecomepossibletoyou.Oneofmydaughtersinthefaithcontactedhermiracle,despitethefactthatoneofherovarieshadbeenremovedandtheotheronebadlydamaged.

"IgotmarriedinDecember1988.Beforethistime,IwasprivilegedtohavesatundertheteachingsofBishopDavidOyedepoinKaduna,beforecomingtoLagos.Overaperiodoftime,IwasbrainwashedwiththeWordofGodthatsaysnoneshallbebarrenintheland,norcasttheiryoung.So,withthatWordandmanyothers,IwastoosurethatIcouldn'tbebarren.

Atthechurch'seightanniversarycelebration(Victory

Celebration)inSeptember1991,Iwasselectedasoneofthosetobeordainedasadeaconess,soItravelledtoKadunawithmyhusband.

AssoonaswegottoKaduna,weheadedfortheserviceandsatatthebackofthesanctuary.TheBishopwaspreachingontheanointingoilthatday.Hesaid,`Asyouareseated,imagineJesusChristpouringoilonyou,andseeyouryokebeingbrokenandleavingyou.'Icouldseebarrennessleavingmybody.Itwassoreal,thatIknewsomethingleftme.Iwasveryhappythatnight,becausemyhusbandandIhadactuallygonefortheordinationreluctantly.

OnSaturdaytheprogrammecontinuedandtheBishoppreachedonwisdom.Hesaidwisdomrequiresthatwesticktothetruththatwehaveknown,nomatterwhatwemaybegoingthrough.IaddedanothertruthtotheonesIknewbeforeandwasgladtohavegonetoKaduna.

OnSeptember22,theBishopwaspreaching,andinthecourseofthemeeting,hesaidtheHolyGhosttoldhimtoremovehisgarment,anointandpassitroundthecongregation,thatwhateverwebelievedGodfor,whenwetouchedthegarment,wewouldhaveourmiracles.Hecalledittheeighthyearanniversarygift.

Whenthegarmentgottome,Itouchedtheoilonitliftedmyblouseandtouchedmystomachwithit.IwastoosurethatIhadreceivedmymiraclethatday.IwroteatthebackofmyBible,`Today,September22,1991,Ireceivedmymiracleoffruitfulness.'

Andexactlyninemonthslater,preciselyonJune17,1992,Ihadmybabyboy!Asifthatwasnotenough,onJanuary2,1993,whenmybabywasjustsixmonthsold,theBishopinvitedthepastorsandtheirwivestodinner.Attheendofthedinner,heheldmyhandandaskedwhenIwantedmynextbaby.IrepliedthatIwasnotreadyyet.Buthesaid,`Thisyearyouarehavinganotherone.'

Igothomeandtoldmyhusband.Helaughed,butItoldhimthattheBishophadsaidit,thathehadbetterbelieveit.Beforeweknewwhatwashappening,IbecamepregnantagainandonJanuary27,1994,Ihadourbabygirl!"

Whatisfaith?Faithisnotthementalassentof"Iagree".Rather,itisstandingonadiscoverymadefromtheWordofGod.Itisnotjust,"Godwilldosomething."Itissaying:"IhaveGod'scommitmentonthissubject,andIknowHecannotlie;thereforeIbelieveitisdone."

Faithisnot,"IknowGodcandoanything."ItistruethatHecan(eventhedevilbelievesthat),butitgoesbeyondthat,toallowingtheWordofGoddirectandcontrolyou.Faithisnotagift,itisaproductofdiscovery.Forinstance,whenyouseethatthecursehasbeenliftedandknowthateverythingcontrarytoyouhasbeennailedtothecross,youcanbegintocelebrateyourvictoryonthebasisofinsight,becausethebattleisover.

Faithisnotpassive,itisanactivelivingforce.ConsiderwhenGodtoldAbraham,"Gettheeoutofthycountry...untoalandthatIwillshewthee"(Gen.12:1).ItiswrittenthatAbrahamdeparted.BydepartinginaccordancewiththeWordoftheLord,AbrahamshowedthattheWordhadtakencontrolofhisentirebeing.Ifitwasmereagreement,hewouldhavesatdowntobegintoorganisehisdeparture,littlebylittle.ButtheBiblesays,"AndsoAbrahamdeparted."Thatisfaith!

LookatHebrews11:1again:Nowfaithisthesubstanceofthingshopedfor,theevidenceofthingsnotseen.Itimpliesthatthereisanevidenceoffaith.Therearepointerstothepresenceoffaith.Thefollowingshowwhenfaithispresent.

Thespiritoffaithdemandsthatyouspeakwhatyoubelieve.Whatyoucannotspeak,youdonotbelieve.Therefore,faithisnotvaliduntilitisspoken.Faithisexpressedinwords;notjustthoseyouspeaktopeople,butthewordsyouspeaktoyourselfaswell.Yourwordseithercountfororagainstyou,thatiswhyJesussaid:

Untilamanistaughttospeakright,henevergetsmuchoutoflife.Itisthecorrectuseofwordsthatmakeslifemeaningful.Yourtonguemustbetaughttospeakfruitfulnessorelseyouremaininbarrenness.Thisisamajorfactorintheoperationoffaith.

Forinstance,IwasnottheonlypersonwhobelievedIcouldhaveatension-freemarriage;butIwasamongthefewwhodeclaredit.Infact,IkeptannouncingitbeforeIgotmarried,untilmanypeoplegotangry;butIcouldnotbestopped.Today,IcanboldlydeclarethatIhaveoneofthemostsuccessfulmarriagesever!

Friend,thelawoffaithdemandsthatwhatyoubelievewithyourheart,youspeakwithyourmouth(Romans.10:9-10).Youranswerwillnotcomeuntilyouopenlyandunashamedlyannounceittothehearingoffriendsandfoesalike!Thebrotherinthistestimonydidjustthatandhereapedtheharvestoffruitfulness.

"Earlylastyear,theBishopannouncedthatallexpectantfathersandmothersshouldbringtheirbabythingstochurch.HesaidGodwantedtoblesspeoplewithchildren.Weobeyedtheinstructionandbroughtourbabyclothesinfaith.

TheclotheswereanointedandtheBishopdeclared,`Itisdone.'Healsosaidwhateversexwedesired,weshouldreceivesame.Mywifejoinedfaithwithmeandwedesiredamalechild.Immediatelyaftertheproclamation,ItooktheWordofGodrawandswalloweditall.Ideclaredtomywife,`TheBishopsaiditisdone,thatmeansitisdone.'

Threemonthsafter,peoplestartedcomingtogivetestimoniesconcerningthefruitofthewomb,butmywifewasyettoconceive.Ibelievedstronglyinmymindthatitwoulddefinitelycometopass.Exactlyninemonthsaftertheproclamation,mywifemissedherperiod,andfiveweekslater,shedecidedtogoformedicalcheck-up.Thedoctortoldhertherewasnothinginsideher;butshearguedseriously,thatshewaspregnant,becauseGodhadalreadydeclared

herpregnant.

Thedoctorwasconfusedanddecidedtocarryouttwomedicalexaminationsataweek'sinterval.Attheend,hestillsaidmywifewasnotpregnant.Mywiferejectedthereport.Thedoctornowsentforme,testedmeandsaidIhadalowspermcountandcouldnotimpregnateawoman.Ijustlaughedandrejectedthestatement.

Weleftthehospitalandrelaxedforsomeextramonths.Whenthepregnancybecameobvious,contrarytotheearthlydoctor'sreport,wewenttoanotherhospitaltoregisterandthere,thepregnancywasconfirmed.ToGodbetheglory,mywifeputtobedabouncingbabyboyonJuly23,1996,exactlyaswedesired!

EversinceGodopenedthewombofmywife,tillthetimeshedelivered,ithadbeenfavoursgalore.Allthatweneededtotakecareofthebabyarebeinggiventous.Theseincludethebaby'scot,clothes,everythingonecanimagine.Tillnow(August16,1996),Ihavenotusedmymoneytobuyanything.Godhasjustbeensupplyingeverythingmiraculously!

Thereforeyoumustbecarefulwhatyousay,becauseGodisnotarespecterofpersons.Untilyouunderstandthemysterybehindthewordsyouspeak,youmayneverreceiveyourdesiredblessing.Whateveryouencounterinyourtomorrowisafunctionofwhatyousaytoday.

RememberhowthechildrenofIsraellosttheiraccessintothepromiselandbecauseofthewordstheyspoke(Num.13:31-33).Theirreactiontothereportofthetenspiesgotthemintotrouble.

Sayuntothem,AstrulyasIlive,saiththeLord,asyehavespokeninmineears,sowillIdotoyou:Yourcarcasesshallfallinthiswilderness;andallthatwerenumberedofyou,accordingtoyourwholenumber,fromtwentyyearsoldandupward,whichhavemurmuredagainstme,Numbers14:28-29

TheAngelsAreMovedByThem

Benotrashwiththymouth,andletnotthineheartbehastytoutteranythingbeforeGod:forGodisinheaven,andthouuponearth:thereforeletthywordsbefew.Suffernotthymouthtocausethyfleshtosin;neithersaythoubeforetheangel,thatitwasanerror:whereforeshouldGodbeangryatthyvoice,anddestroytheworkofthinehands?Ecclesiastes5:2,6

Whenwordscomeoutofyourmouth,theangelspickthemupasinstructionsandactonthem.Theyhavebeenmandatedtoministertoyouasanheirofsalvation,andpartoftheirdutiesistorespondandperformyourdemands(Heb.1:14).

Takeyourmessengerintheoffice,forinstance.Canyouaskforacupofhotteaandhegivesyouacoldglassofcoke?Nomatterhowhotthedayis,whatyouaskforiswhatyouwillget!Thatexplainswhyyousay,"Ihavefibroid"anditisso,becausetheangelsactonwhatyousay.Onceitcomesoutofyourmouth,theyensureyouhavewhatyousay.

Deathandlifeareinthepowerofthetongue:andtheythatloveitshalleatthefruitthereof.Proverbs18:21

OppositionsBow

Yourwordsarealsoweaponsforcrushingallmannerofoppositions.IfyouareinGod'sservice,youhaveacoveringoveryouthatforbidslack,sickness,barrenness,miscarriageandprematuredeath(Ex.23:25-26).Buthereyouare,youservetheLordandhavebeenmarriedforseveralyearsandarestillbelievingGodforachild.WhatyoushoulddoonthebasisofthatWord,istoteardownalltheoppositionsofhellstandingonyourwaytofruitfulness.

Childrenareyourentitlement,butuntilthosestrangershearyourvoice,theywillnotfadeawayfromtheirhidingplaces.Oppositionswillnotbowuntiltheyhearfromyou.

Assoonastheyhearofme,theyshallobeyme:thestrangersshallsubmitthemselvesuntome.Thestrangersshallfadeaway,andbeafraidoutoftheircloseplaces.Psalm18:44-45

Thereisanangelmandatedtotakeyoutoyourplaceofdestiny.Heknowsthatthereareoppositionsonyourway,whichhemustcutoff,ifyoumustarrivetheresafely.So,asyouspeak,youmovehimtolevelallyouroppositions.

Butifthoushaltindeedobeyhisvoice,anddoallthatIspeak;thenIwillbeanenemyuntothineenemies,andanadversaryuntothineadversaries.FormineAngelshallgobeforethee,andbringtheeinuntotheAmorites,andtheHittites,andthePerizzites,andtheCanaanites,theHivites,andtheJebusites:andIwillcutthemoff.Exodus23:22-23

ManyChristiansaretoosilenttobevictorious!Theyclosetheirmouths,evenwithevilencroachingontheirterritory;soitkeepsgainingascendancyoverthem.Butthelouderyoutalk,themoreofGod'smanifestationsyouexperience.

Youarenotfoodforthedevil,soheshouldnotcontinuemessingyouupthewayheisdoingnow.Byvirtueofredemption,hehasnolegalaccesstoyou.Theprovisionforyourlibertyisonground,butyoutakedeliveryofitbythewordsofyourmouth.Jesussaid:

FaithActs

Faithdoesnotonlyreflectinthewordsofyourmouth,butalsoinyouractions.Faithhasevidence.Iffaithisthere,itshowsinyourlooks,walk,statementsyoumakeandyourcountenance.Withoutcorrespondingactions,thereisnoevidencethatfaithisinplace.

Hannahsaidprophetically,"Talknomoresoexceedingproudly;letnotarrogancycomeoutofyourmouth:fortheLordisaGodofknowledge,andbyhimactionsareweighed"(1Sam.2:3).Shehadexperiencedthisdimensionoffaithpractically.InchapteroneoffirstSamuel,Hannahwasbeingprovokedbyherfruitfulrival.Sheinitiallyreactedtohersituationbyweepingandrefusingtoeat.ButafterherencounterwithGodatthetempleinShiloh,theBiblesays:

Andshesaid,Letthinehandmaidfindgraceinthysight.Sothewomanwentherway,anddideat,andhercountenancewasnomoresad.Andtheyroseupinthemorningearly,andworshippedbeforetheLord,andreturned,andcametotheirhousetoRamah:andElkanahknewHannahhiswife;andtheLordrememberedher.1Samuel1:18-19

Godweighsactions,toascertainyourfaith.Whenyouractionsarenegative,itbetraysyourlackoffaith.ThatiswhyJames2:18says:"...Shewmethyfaithwithoutthyworks,andIwillshewtheemyfaithbymyworks."OnceyouclaimtobelieveaparticularWordofGod,theremustbeacorrespondingactionthatbacksupyourclaim,orelseitisadubiousclaim!

Child-LikeFaith

...Exceptyebeconverted,andbecomeaslittlechildren,yeshallnotenterintothekingdomofheaven.Matthew18:3

Theblessingsofthekingdomareforthosewhohavebecomeaslittlechildren,notforthecomplicatedandanalytical.Itisforthesimpleinheart,peoplewhowilldeclare,"Godsaidit,Ibelieveit,thatsettlesit!"ItisthosewhoagreetosticktowhatGodsaysinchild-likefaiththatareguaranteedfruitfulness.

ManyChristiansaretoocomplicatedandsophisticatedforthesimpleScripturalsolutionstotheirproblems.Godhaschosenthe"Foolishnessofpreachingtosavethemthatbelieve"(1Cor.1:21).AndthefoolishnessofGodisstillwiserthanthewisdomofmen.

ThatiswhyyoumusthangontowhateverHesaysinHisWordwithchild-likefaith.Colossians2:10says,"Andyearecompleteinhim..."Thatmeans,inspiteoftheDoctor'sreport,witchesorwizards,nothingcantamperwithyourcompleteness.AslongasyouareinHim,youarecomplete!So,begintoshoutitoutloud:

•"Inspiteofthedevil,Iamcomplete!•Inspiteofmyfeelings,Iamcomplete!

•InspiteoftheDoctor'sreport,Iamcomplete!"

Youarecomplete!Whatevermakesyoufeellessthancompleteisatrickofthedevil.Ifthedoctorsaysyourspermcountislow,askyourselfhowhighAbraham'swas?InthecaseofMary,themotherofJesus,theissueofspermdidnotarise,yetJesuswasaperfectchild!

IfGodsaysyouarecomplete,thatiswhatyouare!AllyourequiretobepregnantislightfromtheWordofGod.TheangelwhoappearedtoMarysaid:

...TheHolyGhostshallcomeuponthee,andthepoweroftheHighestshallovershadowthee:thereforealsothatholythingwhichshallbebornoftheeshallbecalledtheSonofGod.Luke1:35

ThegospelisthepowerofGoduntosalvation.Therefore,whenyoubelievetheWord,thepowerofGodovershadowsyou,placingaholy"thing"insideyou.Youneedchild-likefaithtobelievethis.

AllyouneedforyourmiracleistobeconvincedofyourcompletenessinChrist.Doctorsmayhavesaidthatyouarenotcompleteenoughtohaveachild,butfromGod'sWordweseethat

youareconnectedtoacompleteVine,soyoucannotbeanincompletebranch!Asamatteroffact,youaresocompletethatyouhavebecomeanagentofcompleteness,abletobringlibertytoothers.

Letfaithriseupinyourightnow,becauseitistheguaranteeforyourmiracle.Itdetermineswhetheryouwilleverbeajoyfulmotherorfather.Faithiswhattriggersoffaperformancefromheaven."Andblessedisshethatbelieved:forthereshallbeaperformanceofthosethingswhichweretoldherfromtheLord"(Lk.1:45).

Chapter6:TheOvercomer'sMentality

ForwhatsoeverisbornofGodovercomeththeworld:andthisisthevictorythatovercomeththeworld,evenourfaith.1John5:4

Youmustpossessapeculiarmentality,ifyoumustovercomebarrenness.Icallittheovercomer'smentality.Itcouldalsobecalledvictoryconsciousness.Untilyouhaveit,youcouldwellremaininbondagetoSatan,avictimratherthanthevictoryouwerecreatedtobe.

YouAreAChildOfDestiny

Firstly,itisimportanttonotethatyouarenothereonearthbychance.Goddesignedadefiniteprogrammeforyourlifeevenbeforeyouwereborn.Thatmakesyouachildofdestiny.Theveryfactthatyouaresavedtodayisnotjustafunctionofthemessageyouheard,butisrootedinthemysteryofpredestination.

Forwhomhedidforeknow,healsodidpredestinatetobeconformedtotheimageofhisSon,thathemightbethefirstbornamongmanybrethren.Moreoverwhomhedidpredestinate,themhealsocalled:andwhomhecalled,themhealsojustified:andwhomhejustified,themhealsoglorified.Romans8:29-30

Youaresavedbecauseyouwereseparateduntosalvationfromthefoundationoftheworld.Theultimateofyourcallingisinglorification.Thereisnothinggloriousaboutbarrenness.ThatiswhyIknowthatGod'sultimateforyouisfruitfulness.

KnowWhoYouAre

Thesecondpointyoumustnotetopossessanovercomer'smentalityisthetruthofyournewstatusinChrist.Isaiah8:18says:

Behold,IandthechildrenwhomtheLordhathgivenmeareforsignsandforwondersinIsraelfromtheLordofhosts,whichdwellethinmountZion.

ThatmeansasachildofGod,youaresupposedtowalkintherealmofsignsandwondersonadailybasis.Thisisquiteunliketheunbelievers,whomayenjoymercy"crumbs"hereandthere,liketheSyrophenicianwoman(Mk.7:25-30).

Newbirthtranslatesyoutoanotherrealmoflife.Whereasyouwereonceflesh,nowyouarespirit;andthatwhichisbornoftheSpiritisspirit(Jn.3:6).Thisiswhyyouarereferredtoasapeculiarpeople.However,ifyoudonotknowwhoyouare,youstandtobecheatedandrobbed.Youarenotmeanttosufferliketherestoftheworld.GodhaschosenyoutoshowforthHispraisesontheearth;HehascalledyououtofdarknessintoHismarvellouslight(1Pet.2:9).hascalledyououtofdarknessintoHismarvellouslight(1Pet.2:9).7says:

Theyknownot,neitherwilltheyunderstand;theywalkonindarkness:allthefoundationsoftheearthareoutofcourse.Ihavesaid,Yearegods;andallofyouarechildrenofthemostHigh.Butyeshalldielikemen,andfalllikeoneoftheprinces.

Godsays,"Yearegods."Bythisyoumustunderstandthatyouarenotpermittedtodielikemenorfalllikeoneoftheprinces.Peopleoftheworldmaysuffermiscarriagesandbarrenness,butitisnotyourlotasachildofGod;itisnotinGod'sprogrammeforyou.

Byvirtueofyournewbirth,youareseatedinChristinheavenlyplaces,faraboveallthetroublesnaturalmenface;youareaboveallprincipalities,powers,rulersofthisworldandwickedspiritsoperatinginheavenlyplaces(Eph.2:5-6).Youmustnotseeyourselfasamereman,butasaspiritbeing,thoughinthelikenessofmen.Youmustseeyourselfseatedonasuperiorthrone,farfromwherebarrennessreigns.

Thisunderstandingmustbefirmlyrootedinyourheart.Youarenothereontheearthtobeafflicted,youaremeanttoruleinthemidstofyourenemies.WeareinanagewherewewillbeteachingprincipalitiesandpowersalessonbythemanifoldwisdomofGod.Therefore,noformofoppressionwillhaveaccesstoyourpersonanymore!

NotethatitisnotthatweareseatedwithChristinheavenlyplaces,butinHim.SinceallthingshavebeenputunderHisfeet,soalsohaveallthings(includingbarrenness)beenputunderyourfeet.Onceyousucceedingraspingtherealityofthistruth,youcantellSatantogetlost!Hewillnolongerberelevantinyourlife,because

youarefarabovehisdomain.PossessingthissuperioritycomplexenablesyouputSatanwherehebelongs.Thesearenotstories,butdivinemysteries.

ItwaswiththisconsciousnessthatIcoulddefySatanwhenhesaidtome,"Nowyouhavegonesettingothersfree,showmehowyouwillhaveyourownchildren."Thisiswhathavingasuperioritycomplexisallabout.Icouldnotimaginemebeingbarren.WhereIamseatedforbidsit!Butthatisthesameplaceyouareseated,sonooppressorortormentorshouldhaveaccesstoyou.Theendofsatanicharassmenthascomeinyourliferightnow!

WeareintheeraofsavioursarisingoutofZionandyouareoneofthem.Itistimethereforetolookatbarrennessandputitwhereitbelongsunderyourfeet.WeareenteringintotimesofstrangemanifestationsofthesonsofGod,butbeforeyoucansaveothers,youshouldbeabletosaveyourself.

Andhesaiduntothem,Yewillsurelysayuntomethisproverb,Physician,healthyself:whatsoeverwehavehearddoneinCapernaum,doalsohereinthycountry.Luke4:23

Jesushasputallthingsunderyourfeet,itwillbeaninsultifyouarestillunderallthings.HehascausedyoutobeseatedinHimfaraboveocculticforces,witchesandwizards,etc.Don'tputyourselfunder,youaremeanttobeabove!Onceyouallowthesewordstogainaccessintoyourspiritandyoubegintorespondtothem,youwillcheaplyenforceyourpositioninthespiritworld,anddiscoverhowwonderfullifecanbe.

Whateverhasanameisunderyourfeet.Barrenness,miscarriage,fibroid,lowspermcount,blockedtubes,areallnames.Youcannameandnailthemtothecross,becausetheiroperationsinyourbodyareillegal.Youdonotapproachthesethingsinabeggarlymanner,butwithadeterminationtobringthemtobook!

Withanovercomer'smentality,everythingwillrespondtoyourauthority.Youwillceasetobeaprayerprojectinthechurch,ratheryouwillbecometheprayervictor,lookingforthebarrenpeopletosetfree.

ThePlaceOfTheMind

Letthismindbeinyou,whichwasalsoinChristJesus:Philippians2:5

MostmiraclesJesusperformedwerelargelyasaresultoftheuseofHismind.Healwaysknewwhattodo(Jn.6:6).Hismindwassofertile,thatitbecamethefoundationforthesignsandwonderswitnessedinHisministry.AndtheBiblesaysyouhavethatsamequalityofmind(1Cor.2:16)!

AsoundmindisoneofthegreatestgiftswehavefromGod,butitiswhattheenemyattacksthemost.Onceheisabletogetatyourmind,hehasgotyou.Youcannotreceiveyourmiraclewithoutyourmindbeingattunedtothemiraculous.TheBibletellsushowAbrahamreceivedhismiracle:

Andbeingnotweakinfaith,heconsiderednothisownbodynowdead,whenhewasaboutanhundredyearsold,neitheryetthedeadnessofSarah'swomb:Romans4:19

Inessence,Abraham'sminddidnotconsiderhisageasanobstacletohismiracle.Heclosedhismindtoallthenegativefactors,includingthedeadnessofSarah'sbody.Rather,hewasstronginfaith,givingglorytoGod.ItiswhenyouallowyourmindtoconsiderthenegativefactorsthatyoubegintostaggeratthepromisesofGod.

Yourmiraclecannotbecomeareality,untilyourmindisabletoacceptit.Whatitseesandacceptswillshapeyourdestiny.

Keepthyheartwithalldiligence;foroutofitaretheissuesoflife.Proverbs4:23

Thatiswhythedevilwouldratherhavemoreblindmindsthanblindeyes.Heknowsthatuntilyouseeyoursituationashopelessinyourmind'seye,itisnotso.TheenemyhassucceededintrappingmanyChristiansthroughtheirminds.

Inwhomthegodofthisworldhathblindedthemindsofthemwhichbelievenot,lestthelightofthegloriousgospelofChrist,whoistheimageofGod,shouldshineuntothem.2Corinthians4:4

Theattackisonyourmind.Thedevilbringstogetherallthenegativereportsinyoursituation,tochallengeallyourclaimofknowingGod'sWord.HisapproachhasnotchangedfromthetimeofEve.Heisstillasking,"Yea,hathGodsaid...?"

YoumaybebelievingGodforachild,andthedevilcomesupto

youandsays,"Whatofthescanresultsandalltheteststhatarenegative?Don'tyourememberthatyouhavebeendiagnosedashavingmultiplefibroids?"Allthedevilistryingtodoisuseoccurrencesandsituationstoupsetyourfaith.

However,ifSatancannotgetatyourmind,hecan'tgetyou.Formany,theirmindsaremajorobstaclestotheirfruitfulness.TheyareboundintheirmindsandhavenohopethatwhatGodhassaidcancometopassforthem.Theyhaveacceptedbarrennessastheirlotinlife.

ThestoryoftheShunammitewomanistoldin2Kings4.WheneverElishapassedbyhercity,shepreparedaplaceforhimtospendthenight.Notstoppingatthat,shebuiltasmallguestchamberforhim,wherehecouldspendthenight.Movedbyherconcernforhim,Elishaaskedher,"...Whatistobedoneforthee?"Interestingly,althoughshewasbarrenandadvancedinage,shedidnotsayshewantedachild.Asfarasshewasconcerned,hercasewashopelessandclosed.

Shehadlostallhope,soitdidnotreflectinhercountenancethatsheneededachild.NoteventheprophetElishaknew.Hermindhadclosedthecase,herlongingforachildhadended.ItneveroccurredtoherthatGodcouldrevisithercase.ButGod'sfavourfoundher.

Andhesaid,Aboutthisseason,accordingtothetimeoflife,thoushaltembraceason...Andthewomanconceived,andbareasonatthatseasonthatElishahadsaiduntoher,accordingtothetimeoflife.2Kings4:16-17

Onecardinalfunctionofthemindisthinking.Thoughtsaresopowerfulthatyouareeithermadeormarredbythem;butseldomareyouleftneutral.Whatyouthinkofyourcircumstancesultimatelydetermineswhathappens.Somepeople'snegativethoughtisthegreatestobstacletotheirmiracles.

Manybelieversareyettohavetheirmiraclesbecausetheyspeakpositivelyabouttheirsituationsbutthinknegativethoughts.Godcannotbemocked.Asamatteroffact,yourthoughtsandwordsweighthesamebeforeGod.HerespondstothethoughtsofyourheartjustasHedoestothewordsofyourmouth.

Nowuntohimthatisabletodoexceedingabundantlyaboveallthatweaskorthink,accordingtothepowerthatworkethinus,Ephesians3:20

Thewomanwiththeissueofbloodsaidwithinher,"IfImaybuttouchthehelmofhisgarment,Ishallbemadewhole."Andthatwasit,sheencounteredhermiracle!Thatwomanhadamiraclemind.Shethoughtherwaythroughtohermiracle.Whatareyousayingwithinyourself?

Youneedtobeabletobridlethethoughtsofyourmind,ifyou

wanttobecomeajoyfulmotherorfatherofchildren.Neverconcludethatyourcaseisimpossible.Don'teraseyournamefromthelistofpeopleGodwillvisitthisyear.Therefore,keepyourheart,guideitaright,foroutofitaretheissuesoflife.

Whenweweretohaveoneofourchildren,thedoctorsaidthebabywasinabreechposition.AllIdidinresponsewastoturntomywifeandsaytothebaby,"Child,turn"andIwenthome.MywifetoldmelaterthatassoonasIsaidthosewords,labourceasedandthebabyturned.Onlymiraclethinkerscommandmiraclesatwill!

Christianareoftenbecloudedbythoughtsofimpossibility,thattheyremainvictimsofcircumstances.Theyclaimtoliveinaworldofrealities.ButnothingisasrealastheWordofGod.ItistimetoputyourconfidenceinGod'sabilities.

WatchThoseImaginations!

AndtheLordsaid,Behold,thepeopleisone,andtheyhaveallonelanguage;andthistheybegintodo:andnownothingwillberestrainedfromthem,whichtheyhaveimaginedtodo.Genesis11:6

Imaginationisthespringboardformanifestation.Imaginationcanbedefinedasanactofformingimagesinthemind.Itisafunctionofthemind.IbelievethatratherthanheapingalltheblameforthecircumstancesofyourlifeonSatan,youshouldlookinwards;becauseitisnotuntilyouimaginebarrenness,miscarriagesorfibroidsthatyouhavethem.

Whateveryouimaginecan'tbestopped.Ifitisgood,itwillcomeyourwayandifitisevil,itwilldefinitelycometoyoutoo.Thethoughtsoftodaymanifesttomorrow;italsomeansthatwhereyouendtomorrowisdeterminedbywhatyouimaginenow.

Fortheweaponsofourwarfarearenotcarnal,butmightythroughGodtothepullingdownofstrongholds;Castingdownimaginations,andeveryhighthingthatexaltethitselfagainsttheknowledgeofGod,andbringingintocaptivityeverythoughttotheobedienceofChrist;2Corinthians10:4-5

Therearestrongholdsholdingmendownintheareaoftheirimagination.Theseareinformedbysuchthingsasdoctor'sreportsandphilosophiesofmenortradition.Butnomatterthecalibreofthedoctor,ifwhathesaysiscontrarytotheknowledgeofGod,youmustcastitdown.Thatalsoincludesscanorx-rayreports,everyhighthing.Rememberthatallthatyoureyesseeandyourearshearareonlytemporal,butthethingsthatarenotseenareeternal(2Cor.4:18).

Tobeabletoovercomethatsituationyouareconfrontedwith,youmustdespiseandseeitascommon.Thereisnothingpeculiaraboutit;youdonothaveaspecialcase.WhenyouimaginethatGodcouldlookatacoupleof100and90yearsandsaytothem,"AtthetimeappointedIwillreturnuntothee,accordingtothetimeoflife,andSarahshallhaveason"(Gen.18:14);itthenbecomesasureindicationforyouthatGodwillsurelyreturntoyoualsoandthatyouwillhaveason.
