Praise God that many have heard the call to gather for prayer and are obeying. We have a God that is with us and who is always speaking to us and revealing Himself to us! Not only that, but He also reveals secrets to us about His kingdom and how through us He will spread the good news throughout the earth. We know the Lord has more to speak to those attending GW this week as they prepare to attend GW. • Pray that those attending GW will hear the Father speak his love, promises and calling over them as

they prepare for and travel to GW. Pray that He would tune their ears to hear his voice. • Pray that Jesus will “appear” to them in a powerful way this week and that they will find deep

intimacy with him. • Pray for God to speak and give direction about how He wants them to intercede and participate in

Sometimes we have to wait for the promises of God to unfold. Sometimes his answer for us is to wait and trust that He will do exactly what He said He will do. Many at GW have been waiting for years or maybe even decades to see the glory of the Lord in the MW. And God has told them to “wait”. Those attending GW are also embarking on a journey. They too will spend hours or days traveling to reach the gathering place. They will be gathering from many nations all over the world! And like the apostles they too are known completely (by name and every detail of who they are) and have been hand-picked by God to attend this event. • Pray for grace in preparing to leave and for safe travels. Pray for all the details of their travel to go

smoothly. Pray that God would prepare them to be ready for this time in all ways, spiritually, emo-tionally, physically, mentally etc.

• Pray that each GW attendee would remember that God knows them by name, that he knows every detail about them and has handpicked them to serve Him in this way. May there be a humility and thankfulness that God has chosen them to partner with Him in prayer.

• Pray for a cleansing and a blessing on the hotel where they will be staying. Pray that the blood of Jesus will cover and purify that place, and that His presence will rest there.

• Pray that the MW would know that God calls them by name. Pray that all nationalities from the MW would come to know Christ. Pray that God would tear down the dividing walls between these na-tionalities and that they too will gather to worship our Lord!

This is the heart of GW: gathering together to be devoted to and in constant prayer for three full days! This seems like quite the undertaking! But with God’s help (and yours!) He can give them the vision, words and stamina to press deeper into Him! Prayer becomes easier when our hearts are filled with anticipation. The disciples could be constantly in prayer because they knew the Holy Spirit was coming. Praise God that He uses the schemes of the enemy for His glory! Satan wanted to destroy Jesus because of who He was and the glory He gave to God. Likewise, the enemy would love to destroy this prayer gathering because of who we are in Christ and the glory it will bring to God. And just like Satan was de-feated at the cross, he will be defeated by our prayers in the MW! We have the authority of Christ when we pray and Christ is victorious! Christ’s victory is our victory! God is the one that raises up leaders. He called the apostles to be leaders and it was necessary to raise up another leader. Even among the apostles He raised up Peter as one of the main leaders. This is true at GW. There is a core leadership team and there are also many others that take on leadership roles at GW. And there are still more leaders that God wants to raise up as a result of being at GW and meeting with Him. • Pray for those that are leading GW. Pray that the Lord would give them insight, wisdom and direc-

tion as they prepare to lead. Pray that the Spirit would lead them as they lead at GW. • Pray for courage for the leaders to take GW attendees deeper into the presence of the Lord. Pray

God alone knows the hearts of men. Sometimes we aren’t even aware of all that is in our own hearts. By God’s grace to us, He shows us what is in our hearts even if it isn’t pretty. He shows us the sin and filth in our own hearts so that we can repent, be cleansed and transformed more and more into the image of Christ. He is making us new and our identity is not in what we do but who we are in Christ! • Pray that the Lord would show each GW attendee where they need repentance in their lives so that

they can more fully engage and go deeper with the Lord. Pray that it would be God’s kindness that leads them to repentance.

• Pray that they would be quick to repent and that the enemy would not be allowed to cause shame or try to discredit them. Pray that God would also wash away any lies in their hearts from the ene-my about who they are.

• Pray that they would remain steadfast in their identity in Christ because He is ruler of their hearts. Pray they would see themselves as Christ sees them.

• Pray that God would reveal the hearts of man in the MW. Many trivialize sin, may they see their de-pravity, so they can find His grace and transformation. Pray that they also see their value in Christ!

Things change when the body of Christ comes together as one. When we act as the body under the head, which is Christ, we are an unstoppable force! Because of this, the enemy is always trying to cause division to keep believers from living up to their full potential and to make them ineffective against his schemes. But when believers come together to enjoy and share with one another in love, the power and presence of God is manifest in powerful ways and the enemy loses ground! • Pray that God would unite hearts and strengthen the community to really love one another as Christ

loves us. • Pray that the body would work together and that different giftings and personalities would be cele-

brated. Pray for those that may not already know many people at the conference - pray that they would make deep new friendships. Pray for strengthened friendships too!

• Pray that the schemes of the enemy to bring division would not prosper. Pray for people to assume the best of each other and to be quick to forgive if there is an offense.

God loves all peoples and His plan is that there will be a remnant from every tribe, tongue and nation. But there are many people groups with no known believers or that don’t have God’s word translated in their language. Many of these peoples and nations will be prayed for during GW. There are many in the MW who fear God but have yet to hear the truth of the gospel. • Pray that God would highlight at GW the people groups that seem to be forgotten but He has not

forgotten. Pray also that He would highlight nations that He is about to work in! • Pray for prayers in many tongues at GW. God has brought the nations together and many languages

are represented. Pray this would be embraced! Pray for those who don’t speak English as their first language - pray that God would give them understanding and hearing in their native language.

• Pray for dreams and visions (God speaking to them in their native language) to occur in places where there is currently no witness. Pray for those nations that are closed, that they would be opened today, and that God’s people would be able to flood in!

God’s people were made to declare the wonders of God and worship Him. There is no higher aim, there is no other name that is more worthy of our praise! He alone is great and awesome! As He reveals His majesty to us, we respond with worship! Worshiping the Lord Almighty also changes places and people. Hearts and countries that were once hard start to become amazed and perplexed because God is mov-ing, and they start to hear and see His greatness. • Pray that the attendees would know the wonders of our God in a greater measure and that would

lead them to worship Him with all that they are. Pray that as GW attendees worship, things would shift in the MW.

The conference is now over, and the enemy will try to discredit what the Lord has done in the lives of those that attended. Satan wants to steal the truth and joy that the Lord has given and cause in its place doubt and fear. But the lies of the enemy cannot stand against the truth of the Lord! • Pray against the lies of the enemy that would try to steal and bring doubt to what God has just done.

Pray for a protective covering as the attendees return to their places of ministry. Pray that they would know God is fighting on their behalf.

• Pray that God will continue to speak His truth to the GW attendees. Pray that God would give dis-cernment to any lies that they are tempted to believe and that the GW attendee will speak out truth against these lies.

• Pray that He would allow them to see the results of this prayer time in their ministries and encour-age them to continue to press in and fight. Pray against the lie that they are insignificant on their own.

After being filled with the Spirit, Peter became very bold in sharing the truth about Jesus Christ. We know that this was the work of the Spirit because we saw that he was timid and scared when Jesus was arrested and tried. God equips us with everything we need for the task He has called us to. He also is the one that convicts hearts to the truth of His word and draws them to himself. • Pray that those who attended GW will return to their places of ministry with a new passion and

boldness. Pray that God would equip them with everything they need to be able to walk faithfully in their calling.

• Pray that God will prepare hearts in the MW so that as they hear the word of God, they will be con-victed (cut to the heart) and repent!

36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
