- Questions and answers on design and inspiration -

> What inspires you?

We get inspiration from classic illustrators, trends, blogs, contemporary fashion and fellow de-signers. We also tend to ‘fall in love’ with things for a while. In the same way as fashion trends affect you, we get the craving for new and fresh stuff. The cut-out paper look and simple pat-terns are our top tips at the moment...

> What’s the best thing about working together?

It’s always good to be two, as you have someone to stand next to when things are hard, but above all someone to celebrate with when things are good! It’s fantastic to share what inspires and interests you the most with someone as passionate about it as yourself. It’s wonderful to work with someone who can visually read your mind!

> What’s the most glamorous part of the job?

The most glamorous part of our job is probably that we in general get to do exactly what we want to do, and what we love to do. Also, it’s fantastic to go on inspirational business trips to for instance all time favourite city London!

> Where do you see yourself and the business in 5 years time?

Our aim is to broaden our product range, and we would really like to get into textiles and print. We would also love to illustrate some children’s books, and generally work with other design-ers and companies in other countries.

The Bloom range is created as an extension of the HarvestSeries, which like the latter is based on organic and botanical

imagery. The cards in the Bloom Series has in contrast toprevious series an obvious occasional message and theme,

celebrating important dates & anniversaries.

- Our love for the everyday object -

When designing the Folk & Flora series, we kept referringto an imaginary little community living in the typical Scandinavian

houses, having typical Scandinavian objects in their home.We wanted it to feel like home, something familiar yet quirky.

This was how design after design came to life andfound their place in the family.
