Young Professionals of Sycamore (YPS)The Young Professionals of Sycamore is a leadership program of the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce designed for emerging leaders in the Sycamore Businesses Area. YPS is a meaningful networking organization of dedicated, talented young professionals that want to enrich the community by uniting and developing professionals. YPS will work with the Chamber to make improvements in the overall business climate in the Sycamore area. Over 40 members.

The mission of YPS is to promote an environment that attracts and retains young professionals by focusing on connecting people to each other and to the community through social, civic and charitable endeavors.

YPS ImpactYPS Impact is a Leadership Academy for our YPS members. The program develops and enhances leadership skills to create and prepare our young professionals to be strong engaged leaders. It strengthens the economic vitality of the Sycamore area by cultivating young professionals into

The Ambassador ClubThe Ambassador Club is an integral arm of the Sycamore Chamber. They are the public relations division of the Chamber. The club consists of business leaders from the community. These men and women represent the Chamber at business and community events. They also serve as the volunteer force for a variety of Community events. Ambassadors welcome new businesses to our community and serve as mentors throughout the year. They assist new business owners in getting acclimated into the business community. These community leaders create solidarity within the Chamber membership and help to bring about a greater appreciation among community citizens of what the Chamber stands for in terms of goodwill, civic participation, recognition and appreciation.

Business Advocacy CommitteeThe mission of the Business Advocacy Committee (BAC) is to assist the Sycamore Chamber in being a more strategic advocate for its members in order to strengthen the economic vitality of area businesses and to enhance the quality of life in the community. We help shape public policy decisions and/or public opinion on critical issues to the best interest of the membership in order to strengthen the economic vitality of area businesses and to enhance the quality of life in the community.

Sycamore Chamber Leads Group I & IIThe Chamber Leads Groups are made up of non-competing Sycamore Chamber members that want to expand their business through bi-weekly networking meetings. Each business can only represent one category. Guests are welcome to attend one Leads meeting by invitation from the Chamber.
