Whether you’ve been away from college for a few years or a few decades,

USF understands the desire to fulfill your dreams and achieve that college diploma.

Our Degree Completion Program (DCP) was created specifically for adults who want

to complete their degree while still working, raising a family or pursuing other interests.

DCP allows you to earn a degree after attending classes just one evening per week in

less than two years.

Our Degree Completion Program brings students together from a variety of interests, backgrounds and career paths. Once you are accepted into the program, you’ll become part of an academic support group known as a “cohort.” This exciting cohort model for learning allows you to draw from the experiences and knowledge of others as you work through your classes together.

Many students are surprised to find how close they are to achieving a college degree. DCP allows students with at least two years of transferable credits, including non-traditional credits, to complete their coursework towards a Bachelor of Arts degree. Classes may be offered in a variety of formats – in class, online or using a hybrid format – just one night a week. If you’re not sure whether your past experiences or college credits qualify, we will be glad to review your history and help you get started.

Class sizes are limited to ensure you get the support you need. We also believe in hands-on learning, which means you’ll get to put your education into practice before you hit the job market.

Ask any of our graduates what they got out of USF’s Degree Completion Program, and you’ll hear them talk about benefits far beyond their diploma. Many of them rave about the confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills they gained through the DCP classes, and many pursue master’s degrees, make career changes or receive promotions.
