Company profile: M/s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), is an crude oil refinery at Mangalore and is a subsidiary of ONGC, set up in 1993. MRPL has a design capacity to process 9.69 million metric tonnes per annum and is the only refinery in India to have two hydrocrackers producing premium diesel (high cetane). It is also the only refinery in India to have two CCRs producing unleaded petrol of high octane. Currently, the refinery is processing about 12.5 million tonnes of crude per year and had a turnover of US$8 billion during last year.

Job Profile: 33/6.6KV Substation. Maintenance of HT 33,6.6KV & LT 415V,230V &110V Equipment & panels for scheme checks like cleaning, rack in-out of breakers, mechanical safety interlocks, Open, close & tripping of breakers. Maintaining the Earthing Grid & pit value in substation, plant for both power earthing & lightning earthing with GI strip as per spec & stds. Maintenance of Fire alarm & Public address system. Maintenance of 110 V dc battery charger, battery bank & 110V UPS system. Routine checks & Maintenance of Plant, Substation & street illumination.
