Superintending Engineer is responsible for construction/maintenance of Medium Irrigation projects and Minor Irrigation sources placed in his jurisdiction. He is in-charge of Administrative matters of Circle office and Eight Divisions in his Administrative control. The Superintending Engineer accords Technical sanction for the estimates costingRs.10.00 Lakhs up to Rs. 50.00 Lakhs for which administraive approval has been accorded by the Government. The Superintending Engineer will monitor the progress of works with reference to the programme of completion for achieving the goals and policies set by the Govt. SE Heads the Circle office management. The Superintending Engineer concludes the agreements of works costing more than Rs.10.00 Lakhs.
As per A.P.P.W.D.Code, A.P.P.W.Accounts Code, A.P.Finance Code;As per A.P.D.S.S as per relevant I.S codes and as per Government Orders issued from time to time.

The procedure followed in the decision making is common to all departments including Irrigation & C.A.D Department as prescribed in the District Office Manual.
The proposals of the Executive Engineers under control of Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle, Warangal are received in Tappals Section. On receipt of the same, the Tappal Clerk gives Tappal Numbers and keep all Tappals in a separate Tappal book and send them to the Superintending Engineer . On perusal of Tappals by the Superintending Engineer, Deputy Superintending Engineer, they will be sent to concerned Sections headed by Dy.EE (Technl)/NTPA/Superintendents. The concerned case workers (A.E.E/A.E/ JTO/SA/JA) will make entry in the Personal Registers and put up the same in the shape of file along with relevant Rule Books to the Section Heads. The Section Heads scrutinize the file and writes his/her remarks and passes on the file to the Superintending Engineer. Through Dy.SE/NTPA for SE's persual and final orders on technical and non technical matters respectively.
5.1 Please provide the details of the norms/standards set by the Public authority for the discharge of its functions/delivery of services. In general, the Department starts working from 10.30 A.M to 5.00 P.M(Monday to Saturday except on Second Saturday)
