The French Connection

You are assigned to the foreign office in Paris, France. You have been watching a house because you believe it is the location of a heroin lab. You set up a wiretap to listen to their phone conversations. You intercept a coded leer. You must decode the leer to discover how and where the heroin is being smuggled. To decode the message, write down every 4th word.

Dear Sirs:

The items I saw yesterday will be

perfect! I'll leave my card in

Marseilles and come back in the

afternoon. The Ambassador's Hotel

rocks! My suitcase has many

stickers.

Meet the next taxi at 5:00 since

the airport shuttle van needs new

tires. Hope New York is cool! In

August I'll visit my third vacation

spot.

John
