FoCo Cafe News - July 2014 Volume 3, Issue 7 Dear Kathleen, We're ready to run, so please join us... All the Cafe permits have been submitted and we are working with the City to address questions, waiting for approval and for the green light on our build out! Of course, we remain busy, and many challenges still face us. We are often asked how community members can help. Here are a few ideas that would really help: First, support Phil's run so others can roll into FoCo Cafe. Please consider honoring this incredible effort with a gift or by sharing this story with friends. Phil Purdy will be making a 148-mile run from his favorite restaurant in Silverthorne, through three mountain passes to the FoCo Cafe! He will begin at 8:00am on July 25, 2014 and his goal is to run the distance in 36 hours and raise $13,000 for FoCo Cafe's handicapped accessible ramp! Read more about Phil and why he runs for change. Second, join us on July 27 at the Cafe's second Bike-In Music Festival - conveniently located at Shire CSA.
