Dear Parents,

This year your child will be using a reading program called Raz-Kids! This exciting program is based off of the Reading A-Z program, which we currently use during guided reading. Your child can log on for FREE from your home computer, laptop, iPad, or mobile device to read and listen to books on their reading level. As your child progresses, so will their book choices! We are diligently working to help all of our students meet grade level benchmarks and this program has proven to be motivating and fun! It is our hope that your son or daughter will use Raz-Kids at home to practice his/her reading skills. Your child will be able to earn rewards and I will be able to track their progress here at school.

Please take time to help your child log on and read a few books each week. I will have a special reward for signing up and completing this challenge! Don’t forget…all the books they read on Raz-Kids may be added to their reading logs and counted towards the 100 Book Club! As always, thank you for your continued support! Sincerely, Ms. Beaver
