YARN REQUIREMENTS

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and

Quick (80% acrylic/20% wool,

106 yards, 170g per skein);

Lemongrass; 1 skein.

(For an all-wool alternative,

Brown Sheep Burly Spun will

work nicely, but you may have to

adjust slightly for gauge.)

NEEDLES

Size 13 (9mm). Adjust needle size

if necessary to obtain the correct

gauge.

GAUGE

9 sts and 16 rows = 4 inches in

seed stitch.

NOTIONS

Button

Yarn needle

Scrap yarn in coordinating color

for button (optional)

PATTERN

CO 9 sts.

1st

row: *k1, p1*, repeat * to last st, k1.

Repeat this row until scarflette measures 21 inches. BO knitwise.

FINISHING

Weave in ends. Block to finished size. Sew button to cast-on end of scarflette with yarn.

To wear, fasten button through any part of the bound off edge of scarflette.
