Women’s Guild

The Women’s Guild welcomes and includes all

parish women in its membership and all women

are invited to join in our social events, fundraising activities,

outreach projects, and Circle groups. Attending Women’s

Guild socials is a great way to meet other parish women and

learn about all the Guild’s activities.

Christmas Craft Bazaar The Community Outreach Circle of the Women’s Guild wants to thank you for your support of their efforts in the past in providing help to many area charities. This group has only one fundraising event each year and all

the money raised at that event provides the resources for all of these good works! But they need your help this year. The annual Christmas Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale is fast approaching and they are in need of more

handcrafted items for the sale. If you can help them with some of your handiwork they would really appreciate it. Lastly, they will need lots of home-baked goodies for the Bake Sale. Watch this space for particulars about that. If you have questions you can call either the parish office at

466-4991 or Denise Pilgeram at 509-830-8792. Thank you!!

Women’s Christmas Brunch This weekend (Dec 1st and 2nd) is your last chance

to sign up for the annual Women’s Guild Christmas

Brunch on Sunday, December 9th beginning at

noon. All women of the parish are invited! We will

begin with Mimosas, punch, and light appetizers

followed by an elegant brunch of Chicken Alfredo,

spinach and strawberry salad, and desserts which

will include a flourless chocolate cake and cheese-

cake. (There will be lactose and gluten-free menu

items available—just request them on the sign up

sheet.) The cost is $5 per person and sign-up for the

brunch continues after each Mass this weekend.

Come and enjoy great food and the fellowship of

the women of our parish. This wonderful event is

hosted by the Women’s Guild Fellowship and Hos-

pitality Circles. We hope to see you there! Be

aware there is no Cookie Exchange this year.

New Hope Resource Center In mid-October distribution of warm winter wear began at

New Hope Resource Center. Thanks to the generosity of many, especially our own Knights of Columbus, we were well stocked with coats and other cold weather clothing. To date, over 200 coats have been distributed, along with snow pants,

hats, scarves, gloves, and boots. We will continue to have these items available for our clients through the remaining winter months. Thanks for your support!

Warm Clothing Drive Please join us in a new ecumenical project. Multiple Christian congregations in north Spokane will be collecting warm clothing for our neighbors in need. The cloth-ing will be taken to the Northeast Community Center in Hillyard and various Youth Groups will sort and prepare the items for distribu-tion. There will be a box in the entryway until Sunday, December 9th. The distribution will take place on December 14th & 15th. Please help us help our neighbors with clothing items to keep them warm in these cold months. Please remember us with your lightly used and unwanted clothing items. Thank you!!
