Any changes are due to Human Resources by Monday, December 10th.
Karla Greer (Voya Financial Advisors) will be available Thursday, December
13th at the Admin Building from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The fire district has hired a third party vendor to comply with Washington State
law regarding cell phone text messages that are public records. Please
remember to keep all text messages on District cell phones professional and
appropriate since they may become the subject within a public records request.
For more details, please see the attached link and the adopted CKFR core
covenants.

Sheet-Are-Text-Messages-Public-Records-April-2015.pdf
You may have noticed a message regarding text archiving on your district cell
phone (if you have one). Please respond “yes” to the Verizon text message.
In addition, for iPhone users, the iMessage will be disabled beginning next
week. This shouldn’t cause any negative effects as regular text messaging will
still be available.
All CKFR Members are encouraged to sign up for this holiday tradition! Santa
leaves @ 6pm from each station. Runs go from 6-9pm. Pizza and beverages will
be provided. Families are invited as well—many hands make light work!

Above: Folks at the A-Shift Holiday Party
CKFR A-shift held their annual holiday party at the
beginning of the month, which included a “dynamite”
dance by Probationary Firefighter Werlech. We also
collected 300 lbs of pet food that was donated to the
Kitsap Human Society.
Left: Thanks to FF' Dalle & FF Monroe for making some
amazing kids’ days at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital!
Right: Deputy Chief Jeff Sorenson presented Battalion
Chief Jay Christian with his helmet shield this week!
