Legacy II Update

Thank You, Lord! And Thanks to the 114 families

who have made their Faith Commitments to

Legacy II! To date, we have received $102,883.00

in commitments!

Please God, we pray, that the other 929 families will

make their Faith Commitments today to help us

achieve our Legacy II goal of $175,000.00 toward

eliminating our parish debt.

If each of those families make a commitment of

only $100.00 (less than $2.00 a week), we could

Easily surpass our goal.

This changes EVERYTHING!

Your money. Your story. Your life.

Learn God’s ways of handling money with Dave

Ramsey’s Financial Peace University!

The average turnaround is $8,000 in just the first

three months!

Meetings will be on Wednesdays, at 6:00pm at the

Schneider Parish Center beginning January 14, and

continuing for 9 consecutive weeks, ending March

18.

Doors will open at 7:00am and Mass will be cele-

brated at 7:30am. The event is free, no tickets are

Rediscover the Love in Your Marriage!

The Retrouvaille Marriage Program offers help for

struggling marriages.

Tens of thousands of couples have successfully

saved their marriages by attending a Retrouvaille

weekend and the six post sessions that follow it.

Retrouvaille is not just a social gathering or series

of seminars, but rather a way to rediscover and re-

kindle the loving relationship in your marriage.

The next program begins on the weekend of Febru-

ary 13-15 at the Family Life Center in Malvern, Pa.

For more information or to register for our upcom-

ing weekend, visit our web site at

www.HelpOurMarriage.com or call 1-800-470-

2230.

All inquiries are kept strictly confidential.

PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY

Please remember in your prayers all the men and

women who are serving our country in the armed

forces.

Lord, protect them and their families for the self-

less acts they perform for us.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord.

Amen.

Advent Study Began November 25

Perhaps the best Christmas gift you could give is one

for yourself. Please consider spending just one hour

a week during the Advent season to spiritually pre-

pare for the beautiful feast of our Lord's birth.

CAFÉ, our adult faith enrichment group, will offer

the final Advent Study session on Thursday, Decem-

ber 18.

From 7:00-8:00 pm in the lower level of the Schnei-

der Parish Center. We will read the Scripture pas-

sages for the upcoming Sunday Mass and discuss

ways to live out our faith during the Advent season

so that Christmas will be more meaningful to us.

For more information please email to

[email protected], or call Sue Brown at

610-857-2026.

Advent Daily Reflection from Father Barron

If you would like to receive a daily email reflection

from Father Robert Barron during Advent, you can

sign up by going to http://adventreflections.com/ .

Father Barron offered a similar program during Lent,

and many of our parishioners found it rewarding.

Father Barron’s “Catholicism” Series

on Sunday Mornings

Refresh & Renew, our Adult Sunday School pro-

gram, is presenting Father Barron’s “Catholicism”

Series each Sunday morning from 9:15-10:45am.

We meet in one of the center classrooms downstairs

at the SPC.

This is open to all parishioners, and you are wel-

come to drop in any time throughout the school year.

We watch 25 minutes of the DVD presentation, and

then follow up with a very relaxed, faith-filled dis-

cussion.

Hope to see you there!

Let's send Christmas Greetings to our

home-bound parishioners!

We are collecting Christmas cards for these special

members of our parish family.

The cards can include a special message inside or

even be a homemade card from a child!

(They love those!)

What would be even be more awesome...is if your

card contained a promise of prayers that you will

say just for them, a gift of a spiritual bouquet. (Ex; I

said a rosary for you, or 5 Hail Mary's, 4 Our Fa-

thers, I offered my Mass for you, etc...)

Prayers are one of the best gifts we can give each

other.

Please place your cards inside the designated box,

located in the back of each worship site by

December 14th.

Please personalize the cards to include the following

names:

Anna

Arlene

Helen

Frank and Maria (married)

Vincent

Delores

Dolores

Anne

Mary

Sonia

Mary

Eileen

Ed & Joan (married)

(We are not collecting gifts for the 12 Days of

Christmas this year.)

Thank You,

Health Ministry
