Test: If you get stuck converting a fraction

into a decimal, you can always,

(and I mean always),start by dividing the numerator by the

denominator. When converting a decimal to a fraction, focus on the number of places to the right of the decimal; it will tell you value of the denominator.

By saying the number without the word ‘over’ or ‘point’, you will have the fraction or decimal you are looking for. All that’s left is to simplify.
