News to the next generation, thanks to friends like you.

You’ve helped us develop a special Christmas edition of the Book of Hope specifically for use during these holiday outreaches. Teams are presenting dramas, music and distributing the books in parks, at malls and train stations, and wherever crowds of young people are gathered.

Please pray for a great response among Thailand’s children and youth.

Christmas is the perfect time to share the Gospel with young people, because that first Christmas

was the time Jesus came to bring salvation ... now we have the privilege of taking His Word to those who may never have heard it before.

Our partners in Italy are also sharing God’s love with children and youth during this holiday season.

A network of 100 churches in Naples and Sicily are distributing the Book of Hope, and conducting large Christmas celebration programs to attract young people and connect them with the Word of God.

The Italian special edition Book of Hope also contains information on a website where young people can

go for more information related to specific issues such as peer pressure, eating disorders, and more.

Please pray for Italy this Christmas, and for other Christmas outreaches our partners are presenting, all over the world. With your prayers and generosity, thousands of children — and their families — will celebrate Christmas in a new way this year ... with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ who came at Christmas to bring us redemption and hope for eternity!

New life ... New forgiveness ... New Savior

sovany and his fellow sTudenTs weren’T good friends.

They’d all received a full scholarship to come to this highly-competitive boarding school — an amazing honor in the poor nation of Cambodia! But you had to stay

on your toes. You studied hard and didn’t worry about the other students.

Then a team from a local church brought a film for the students to watch together, the Cambodian dub of The GodMan.

Sovany was impressed — it was the first time he had ever heard about Jesus.

“I always felt bad about my life because of my family’s poverty,” Sovany remembers. “I saw this movie, and I began to think maybe if I believe in Jesus, my life and family will be better.”

Sovany was among six students who chose to follow Jesus. They’re

learning to walk in His path of love, charity, mercy and forgiveness as they deal with each other and their families.

“I know that my life is changing from the heart,” Sovany says. “I have no jealousy, because I feel like God is my everything, and there’s nothing He can’t do.”

Sovany’s story is a real miracle in the nation of Cambodia, where there are very few Christians, and our research indicates most young people know nothing about sin, redemption, or a personal God.

Thank you for reaching out to him and the rest of Cambodia’s next generation with the Good News!

The Word of God transformed Sovany’s life!

HHow to make a difference ...

her husBand wisely invesTed in a growing computer firm, years ago. He didn’t have a lot of money, but he made the most of it. His shares of that stock are now worth $100,000.

He has since passed away ... his wife needs some of the proceeds from the sale of that stock to do some home improvements — but she would also like to donate to charity, too.

She has a choice to make. She

can sell the stocks and donate her profits. Or, she can actually donate the stocks. That way, she receives a charitable deduction on her income tax, and she avoids capital gains tax.

It’s far better for her, and good for the ministry, too, for her to donate the stocks.

If you’re in a similar situation, and wondering whether to sell appreciated stocks so you can give a year-end gift to OneHope, keep this

in mind. You can donate the stocks outright, and you may benefit from great tax advantages at the same time you’re providing God’s Word for the children and youth of the world!

To make sure these advantages apply to your 2011 taxes, make sure you complete your donation of stocks (or other appreciated property) by December 31. If you have questions, please call us at 1.800.GIV.BIBL (448.2425) or email [email protected].

Should she sell the stocks and donate the proceeds, or donate the stocks?

What a difference a

makes

Oour ChrisTmas ouTreaCh in Togo made all the difference for a little girl named Denise last year!

Her father had abandoned her mother before she was born, and her mother had abandoned her when she was just nine months old.

Despite the efforts of a loving foster family, Denise felt alone, unwanted, unloved.

“When I had problems, I had confidence in no one to help me,” Denise recalls sadly. “I was tormented by loneliness, and

shyness.”Then, with

Christmas approaching, believers from the local church came to Denise’s school with the Book of Hope for every student.

“When I started reading it, I burst into tears,” Denise says. “At once it filled me with assurance and joy! I said, At last, here is the One I can have confidence in. It was Jesus! That was the most wonderful day of my life.”

Today, Denise’s life and outlook have been transformed! She’s a faithful member of her local church, and remains filled with the joy she first felt when she discovered Jesus through the pages of the Book of Hope.

This Christmas will be radically different for Denise, because of what Jesus has done in her heart ... thanks to friends like you, who sent His Word to save her.

Denise has new hope because of the Christmas gift she received —

the Book of Hope.

HTThe lasT day to get great tax advantages when you make a charitable gift from an IRA rollover is December 31.

People 70-1/2 years old (or over) can rollover up to $100,000 in charitable giving without adding a penny to their taxable income — but this benefit expires December 31, 2011.

advisor and request the forms from your IRA custodian to get started.

You can get a significant tax break, and help present God’s Word to the next generation, all by year’s end. Thank you for standing with us to make a difference for the children and youth of the world.

Dear Friend,

Thank you for being part of our 92 Days of Destiny campaign! And a special thanks to everyone who has given toward the 92 Days of Destiny Matching Challenge. Your gifts have been DOUBLED by the challenge fund!

We’re praying, believing, and trusting God to bring in the final funding needed to complete our 2011 goal of presenting His Word to 89,598,691 children and youth this year.

We know this is our God-given goal, and we believe He will provide for it, through the generosity of partners like you. Please keep praying with us — gifts are still coming in, and every gift dated and postmarked by December 31 will be DOUBLED.

And please, as the Lord allows you, give another Christmas gift to the children of the world. Every dollar will be matched to touch the lives of SIX children and youth with the Good News.

Thank you for sharing the power of God’s Word with the children of the world! God’s heart is filled with passion for the young people, and we see this passion reflected in your heart, too.

A new vision of hope

Tanya was 10 years old when she suffered severe health problems. Welders were working in her yard at her home in Russia ... and it seemed so interesting to watch them. Nobody warned her to stay away. Sparks from welding flew into her eye!

Tanya almost lost her eyesight. Even after several surgeries, her eyesight did not improve.

Four years later Tanya suffered another loss. Her father drank himself to death.

She was very hurt and lonely. There seemed no comfort for her loss.

And then the OneHope team from the local church came to her

village. Tanya learned that God loved her, and He wanted to give her hope and a future. The team gave Tanya a copy of the youth edition of the Book of Hope.

This book helped her to better understand what her new friends were telling her — that she could once again find peace. Tanya committed her life to Christ. She found peace and

hope as she learned that her loving Heavenly Father would always take care of her.

Tanya came to know Jesus through the Book of Hope.

She discovered she could have hope in her life!
