cause.
The holiday dinner is coming up very soon.
A big thank you to Wayne and Marilyn Osborne, who have done this for 7 years.
I am looking forward to the holiday celebra on at the Officers Club Miramar with the members of the best Corve e club in Southern California.
We need a new leader to head the holiday party for next year. Wayne will provide the details to a member willing to step up.
This is the perfect opportunity for a newer member to contribute to the legacy and success of North County Corve es!
Plas c Fantas c will be here soon. We need the membership’s support for the awesome Tim Murray to make this a great event for our guests and to support our charity, the USO of San Diego!

MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR
Well, here we are at holiday me again. How did that hap-
pen so fast?
Our visit with our daughter and her boyfriend went well.
We had two Thanksgiving dinners to allow our grandkids to
celebrate with us before they went to see their father.
It’s been nice to have a li le bit of rain and cooler weather
for a change.
I’m looking forward to the Christmas Party on the 12th.
We didn’t have a lot going on this month compared to sum-
mer me, but we did win big at the Ve es for Veterans
show in Carlsbad. Congrats to all who won and kudos to us
for winning the par cipa on award as well. A picture of
the winners is on the front page. Thanks, Kathleen Regen-
hardt, for stepping up as photographer.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this newsle er,
you make this job fun and easy.
Please feel free to contact me at the mee ngs or by email
at [email protected] with any correc ons or ideas for

VETTES FOR VETERANS
November 15, 2015
Submi ed by Sco Peele
Sunday, November 15, 2015, was the annual Ve es for Veterans car show put on by North Coast Cor-
ve es.
The event was held at the TGI Fridays parking lot in Carlsbad.
NCoCC met at the park and ride in Rancho Penasquitos and put on a Corve e parade across the 56 and
up the 5 to Carlsbad. The weather looked a li le ominous as we headed north but the show loca on
was dry.
As always, there were lots of beau ful Corve es on display from all over Southern California and taking
them all in was amazing. It’s great to see our Corve e community coming together to provide support
for our veterans. Many thanks to George Marks for the great drone video of the en re event.
NCoCC cleaned up in the awards department, taking 6 awards over all, including Club Par cipa on, 1st
place in C!, 1st and 3rd in C#, 1st in C5, and 1st in C6.
The rain held off un l a er the event, but the drive home was a li le moist, to say the least.
Overall, the show was great fun and I look forward to par cipa ng again next year.
