Augustus Close Bridge Works

Hounslow Highways have written to residents informing us that in order to maintain their completion date (February 2017) they are carrying out evening works from 4th January 2017 for approximately 4 weeks.

Works will be between the hours of 1600 – 2400. Any noisy working will cease by 2300. They will be measuring noise levels at various locations on site throughout the works. They have done night works previously without any disturbance being reported to us.

The works will, stop for Christmas between 23rd December 2016 and 3rd January 2017.

• Christmas Parcels – the count down to the festive season is getting quicker,

please collect items promptly and no large/bulky or heavy items. Parcels

addressed to “Security Office” will also be returned. • Pathway treatment – During the next month the cleaners will be treating the

external pathways with Soda Crystals to prevent moss. This is harmless and looks like salt has been spread, but it is probably better not to tread it into carpets.

• DIY reminder – please remember that noisy DIY in flats or contractors working is only permitted Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) between the hours of 0900 and 1800.

paper ticket which is not processed for a couple of days: THE PENALTY IS ISSUED IMMEDIATELY

Our Security Officers will place a notice on the vehicle informing offenders that they have received a ticket and when it was issued (picture left). If you do not have a valid up to date permit and park in any private parts of

the Dock, you risk receiving a ticket and a penalty.

Please ensure that any visitors to the Dock are aware and display a Visitors Parking Permit (correctly dated) and that they don’t park in private bays.

Parking tickets are issued for the benefit of all residents to manage parking on the Dock. As stated last month this is NOT a revenue source and Security will only use tickets as a last resort. Fixed penalties are £100 fine, reduced to £60 with prompt

payment. Don’t let a parking ticket spoil your festive season!

Syon Park gardens will be open during the Christmas period, but the Conservatory and the Duke’s Woods will not be accessible.

Following an incident during the weekend please remember that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not permitted into the gardens under any circumstances. This is part of the conditions of use for all Dock pass holders.
