Since the fraternity’s rush season was already in its final stages, #TBT turned out to be more like a brotherhood event for Alpha Psi. For some brothers, the event also served as a venue for networking with other organizations and discovering new opportunities for leadership experience. About 35 Alpha Psi brothers attended the first Big Blu, a Phi Delta Chi brotherhood retreat for the entire Pacific region. Welcoming over a dozen chapters, this three-day event took place at a resort off the shore of Lake Tahoe. From celebrating brotherhood at an Angry Bird-themed social event, attending an elegant dinner cruise, to snowboarding on the slopes, Phi Delta Chi made lasting memories. Alpha Psi will never forget this wonderful experience bonding with distant brothers. Big Blu certainly made it feel like a small world. Brothers and potentials carpooled to Eddie’s Classic Billiards on January 15th for the second rush event. After a few hours at the pool hall, everyone returned to Rowland Hall for some pizza and ice cream. This two-part event allowed quality time for brothers to get to know the potentials in different environments. Held at the Stockton Golf and Country Club on January 25th, rush dinner was a classy and professional event that along with potentials, welcomed an impressive number of Alpha Psi alumni and Gamma Iota brothers. Those that were visiting were very pleased to see that the rushing process brought in such a qualified group of potentials. Heartfelt words from both alumni and collegiate brothers exemplified Phi Delta Chi’s passion, pride, and dedication. Table conversations brought up fond memories from years past and also made new ones. By the end of the night, potentials were able to experience a glimmer of Alpha Psi’s brotherhood. Deck the Halls!
