LAKE GREGORY REGIONAL PARK

INDEPENDENCE DAY BOAT PARADE REGISTRATION

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

• Entry fee includes rental of Lake Gregory Regional Park row boat , two 12 volt Marine Deep Cycle

Batteries and an inverter for “plug in lights”. No personal vessels will be allowed on the lake. NO

GENERATORS!

• Each team consists of five members. All members are to assist with decorating, however, only two

representatives (at least one must be 18 years of age or older) will sail the vessel in the parade.

• Team may begin checking-in at 12:30 pm at the boat docks. Each team is responsible for their own

decorating supplies and equipment. Teams will have exactly three hours to decorate. Decorating will

stop at 3:30 p.m.

• Each participant must sign a waiver prior to the start of this event.

• Each participant must wear a Lake Gregory issued life vest while on the water.

• Boats will be judged in different categories by either a panel of judges or by community members

voting via ballots. Prizes will be awarded to top ranking teams.

• Event will occur rain or shine, with the exception of lightening storms. NO REFUNDS!
