Opening Address (8:15 am - 9:15 am)Dare to MatterPete Smith, International Speaker and Coach, Smithimpact. For over 20 years, international speaker and coach Pete Smith has helped individuals, teams, and organizations improve their leadership and personal development. His experience, concepts, and tools have helped organizations improve their leadership effectiveness, elevate engagement at all levels, transform company cultures, and consistently perform at high levels.

He is the author of Dare to Matter, the #1 Best Seller in the Human Resources and Personnel Management Category, and the #2 Best Seller in the Business Motivation and Self-Improvement category. At the core of every individual, regardless of socio-economic status, race, or age, is the deep

desire to know with certainty that who they are and what they do matters. People want to matter. They want to contribute in ways that matter. They want to live a life that matters. It’s time for them to Matter More.

Beginning with the Power of Choice and ending with Impact on others, attendees will travel the Significance journey in an enlightening and entertaining fashion. Throughout this keynote, attendees will be challenged to become clear about their Identity, invited to address their Fears, understand the importance of Letting Go the things that don’t matter, and encouraged to pursue something meaningful in their lives. It’s a transformational journey that will have the attendees thinking and behaving differently with immediate positive results.

After years of research, interviews, trainings, and observation, Pete Smith reveals the Significance framework outlined in his best-selling book, Dare to Matter. This framework reveals the six major pillars of significance and how they can be incorporated into our daily lives.

Session 1: NAC Symposium (9:30 am - 10:15 am) Join us for lively and timely discussions on matters of importance to the industry. This session is open to all attendees. A panel of very experienced insurance company claim representatives will answer your questions on any matter timely to the insurance claims market. This is a behind the scenes look at what drives the insurance market, how your understanding can be a competitive advantage and ask questions and get responses from client representatives from across the country. Moderated by President-Elect Cathy Hester, the session enables our experienced panel of National Advisory Council members to share their experiences and wisdom.

Robber’s Row was designed by noted architects George Cobb and Willard Byrd in the early 1970’s and was redesigned in 1994 by world famous architect Pete Dye. The course is located on the scenic marsh side of the Port Royal Plantation and cuts through beautiful stands of magnolia and live oaks. This course sets atop former civil war grounds and features historical markers throughout the courses describing events which took place on the Island. Although tee-shots have generous fairways to land in, approach shots require accuracy to the well-protected greens. Robber’s Row is a course rich in history and challenge to any golfer.
