Innovation and learningWe live in the age of technology and

innovation. It is the responsibility of every teacher to have knowledge about these technology and impart same knowledge to the upcoming generation.

The big problem is that teacher is unable to spot those resources which could be used as innovative learning. We must know how to utilize the available technological recourse in class.

The ICT Training In the ICT Training By Intel in DIET, Lucknow, I

came to know how to use computer basic in my classroom. During the training I develop the insight to utilize the available technological resource in my classroom.

Here I want to describe one method which I use during Science and Geography classes. I have 10 inches tablet, I use this tablet as my TLM.

In the ICT training we were thought about YouTube, the video website, I use YouTube in my teacher methods.

YouTubeYouTube is very easy to operate. This app is for

video file. Its offline feature make it unique. Planning- When I plan to teach any lesson in science

and geography I first browse the YouTube and search appropriate animated video which suits with the mental level of students then I download it with offline feature of YouTube on my tablet. On next day I show the video to my students while teaching the lesson.

MeritIt is easy to express those concept which is

difficult to draw as 2D image e.g. Digestive System.

Students love this experience.Now a days every body have smart phone. So

any teacher can integrate this method in their teaching for any subject.

When teacher used such video they get new dimension for teaching.

Demerit This TLM is bounded with the boundaries of

hardware device and network.These devices and internet connections are

not cheap.For smart phone we must spent up to 5000

rupees and for internet the 1gb 3G Recharge cost 250 rupees.But these demerit can be easily overlooked

because now everyone has mobile with internet connection we just need to think more innovatively for learning prospect.
