OVERVIEW
DefenseReady is a single, integrated application suite comprised of capabilities that map directly to the business processes and functional needs of the DoD. An on premise and cloud-ready, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, DefenseReady securely integrates and curates critical data from across the enterprise, providing leadership with a holistic, end-to-end view of manpower, capabilities and assets to measure mission readiness and facilitate surge capabilities. DefenseReady integrates critical structured and unstructured data, delivering a cohesive solution that enables the tracking of cases and records (e.g., recruitment, personnel, asset), providing real-time data reporting capabilities and actionable knowledge to speed informed decision making.
BENEFITS
DefenseReady enables the scalability of institutional knowledge, minimizing the impact of assumption based utilization of personnel and assets and significantly reducing lost opportunity and wasted resources. This ability to make data-driven decisions enables organizations to increase their ability to leverage their existing workforce and resources by as much as 15%. On average, DefenseReady deployments occur within six (6) months, enabling the retirement of legacy systems and elimination of redundant processes soon thereafter, reducing the ongoing costs of maintenance and licensing. In addition, DefenseReady mitigates the risks inherent in the creation of new, untried, custom solutions, by delivering a secure, proven, user-friendly system that doesn’t place heavy demands personnel or create unexpected delays in deployment.

MOBILE CAPABILITIES
DefenseReady seamlessly delivers a more robust, efficient, user friendly solution, providing employees with personalized visibility over their tasking and assignments and self-service capabilities anywhere, anytime, anyplace, without interrupting service delivery. Mobile Capabilities access the same Microsoft Dynamics CRM environment and data that users have access to in the office, providing them with the ability to view, create, delete, modify and update data on any internet-capable, mobile device. This access gives organizations a clear advantage, significantly improving time-to-value, creating efficiencies and enhancements in processes, translating to increased productivity, responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
CLIENTS
Permuta Technologies’ family of readiness products has roughly 30 deployments across the federal government covering ~30,000 users. These deployments are enabling organizations to measure readiness, manage their workforce, track training requirements, plan and source mission requirements, manage medical records, provide accountability for property, plan and execute budgets and track personnel security for hundreds of thousands of personnel. Case Study: NSF US Antarctic Program DefenseReady is currently being utilized by the NSF US Antarctic Program (USAP). In just under six months, the deployment consolidated legacy workforce planning, personnel management, mission planning, travel management and medical screening systems into a single application built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform to serve an organization with approximately 5000 personnel of multiple nationalities operating on four continents. DefenseReady enabled USAP to fully replace and migrate data from two existing legacy software applications, providing specific functionality for workforce/position planning, managing workforce participants, medical Physical Qualification, and commercial and military travel. DefenseReady has established integration and interface with five additional legacy applications, created customized reports and workflows and established an inter-continental data synchronization service and fail-over redundancy. The solution enables synchronization between servers kept on Antarctica in order to support the mission needs of scientists and logistics personnel deployed there, allowing data to be synchronized during off peak use hours in order to be available locally in case of WAN outages.

DefenseReady enables clients to combine their resources and requirements into a single solution. This near/real-time insight into the current state of organizational readiness enables leadership at all levels to make casual
relationships between disparate information in order to enhance and speed decision making, identify potential gaps in capabilities or service levels and ensure that resources are allocated at the right time, in the right place.
WORKPLACE DefenseReady provides numerous timesaving tools that allow individuals to see a broad variety of information about their own duty status, deployment time, timesheets and other data. This information can also be captured and collated into dynamic reports with drill-down functionality to enable leadership to more easily manage and support their employees and facilitate strategic decision making.
WORKFORCE One of the most central components of DefenseReady is Workforce, a suite of tools that provide central control over a broad variety of personnel issues and topics for your entire workforce, including military, civilian and contractor personnel. From recruiting, education and promotions to details on awards, passports and legal issues, DefenseReady streamlines the processes for monitoring and updating records at an individual level, in addition to tracking issues that span a particular department or the entire organization.
MISSION DefenseReady provides a command and control foundation to help an organization achieve its goals by tracking personnel and operations against requirements. With easy-to-use tools, an intuitive interface and timesaving templates, it allows users to track and manage details of existing resources in order to plan for future needs.
TRAINING DefenseReady’s training suite offers an extensive set of capabilities to support an organization’s wide variety of needs, including managing administrative records of completion dates for compulsory training and tools for classroom management. Special functions for instructors facilitate the development of SCORM-compliant curriculums, while others allow individual users to access their own records and monitor progress on training assignments.
MEDICAL DefenseReady provides a highly effective and reliable way to track pertinent information about an individual’s medical readiness, including various tests and medical examinations, human performance, psychology, casualties, counseling and more. Solutions for Clinics allow for the scheduling and tracking of care providers, as well as patient visits.
FINANCE DefenseReady provides a central repository of data regarding a broad variety of financial issues, including contracts and related management issues, Special Pay leave and earnings, and government credit and purchase cards. Budgeting functionality automatically aggregates budget data as received from users throughout the organization, improving visibility of budgeting status of individual departments.
SECURITY DefenseReady streamlines tracking and reporting on various security issues and topics, including clearance, incident investigations and damage assessments. The application can also easily drill down into details such as badges, combinations to safes and other sensitive assets. Authorized users can easily track such areas as foreign travel and contacts, vehicles, visitor access requests and more.
ASSETS DefenseReady delivers comprehensive insight into a variety of organizational assets with tools for creating and managing asset catalogs and property books, government vehicles and individuals’ hand receipts. It also features screens and fields for tracking specialized assets, such as service animal programs and arms room management. The solution includes time-saving tools and forms for the functions commonly involved in asset management.
