Domain is the collective interest that binds one person to another. You cant simply be a

community because youre friends or living near each other. The connection in a community is

only made with the domain. The domain is that one piece that connects the group and makes

the community what they are.

Community of Practice is the group that forms because they all have a similar objective tocomplete. They get together to both help each other and learn themselves. Not necessarily

always together but when they get together the reasons are clear. Not formed by any other

interests except the one at hand. Almost like a herd. They are well organized, compassionate

about their work, and hard workers at that.

The Practice itself may start off as people sharing a common interest and then somehow it

becomes something more. The community becomes this place where people of the same

interest are able to provide and share informtion of a shared interest and it becomes this

database. It becomes a folder. When they begin to share information with one another and it

becomes deeper this is when it becomes a practice of theirs.

Figured world is a world (obviously) that has a set of rules and regulations that everyone it has

to follow. These are called rules of convention. In the world people interact and react to one

another just as anybody in a world would do in respect of the rules of their set society.
