    Little grains of sand,

    Make the mighty ocean

    And the pleasant land.

    Little deeds of kindness,

    Little words of love,

    Help to make earth happy

    Like the heaven above.

    Out in the garden

    Out in the garden, one fine day,

    With my ball, I went to play!

    I bounced it right, I bounced it left,

    I bounced it well on one fine day!

    Out in the garden, one fine day,

    With my kite, I went to play!

  • I flew it right, I flew it left,

    I flew it high up the sky!

    THE GOOD MANNER SONG

    We say Thank You – We say Please

    Pardon me – Excuse my sneeze!

    Don’t interrupt, wait for your turn,

    All the things that we must learn.

    Close your mouth when you eat food,

    We don’t want to be-e rude,

    Hold your knife upon the right,

    Always try to be polite!

    Must be gentle, must be kind,

    Sharing toys is fun, we find!

    If someone goes ‘A-ti-shoo!’

    Always say ‘God Bless you!

  • TERM-2

    MY FAVOURITE FOOD

    My favorite food is carrot

    I eat it everyday

    There is not any other food

    That makes me feel this way.

    It makes me feel so healthy

    It makes me look so good

    But, mostly, I like carrot

    As all good children should.

    ZIG ZAG BOY

    I know a little zigzag boy

    Who goes this way and that

    He never knows just where he puts

    His coat or shoes or hat

    I know a little zigzag girl

    Who flutters here and there

    She never knows just where to find

    Her brush to fix her hair

    If you are not a zigzag child

    You will have no cause to say

  • That you forgot, for you will know

    Where thing are put away.

    SOME ONE

    Someone came knocking

    At my wee, small door;

    Someone came knocking ;

    I’m sure –sure-sure;

    I listened, I opened

    I looked to to left and right,

    But nought there was a stirring

    In the still dark night ;

    Only the busy beetle

    Tap-tapping in the wall,

    Only from the forest

    The screech-owls call,

    Only the cricket whistling

    While the dew drops fall,

    So I know not who came knocking,

    At all,at all,at all.

  • THE GERM

    A mighty creature is the germ,

    Though smaller than the pachyderm.

    His customary dwelling place

    Is deep within the human race.

    His childish pride he often pleases

    By giving people strange diseases.

    Do you, my poppet, feel infirm?

    You probably contain a germ.

    DREAMS

    Hold fast to dreams

    For if dreams die

    Life is a broken-winged bird

    That cannot fly.

    Hold fast to dreams

    For when dreams go

    Life is a barren field

    Frozen with snow.

  • THE YEAR’S AT THE SPRING

    The years at the spring,

    And day’s at the morn;

    Morning at seven;

    The hill-side’s dew-pearled;

    The lark’s on the wing;

    The snail’s on the thorn;

    God’s in his heaven

    All right with the world!

    तोता

    तोता हूॉ भैं तोता हूॉ, हये यॊग िा तोता हूॉ, चोंच भेयी रार है, सुन्दय भेयी चार है, भीठे पर भैं खाता हूॉ, जफ-जफ भारी आता है,

    ओस

    सुन्दय कितनी होती ओस, चभिे फनिे भोती ओस। ओढ़ ठॊड िी चनुयी योज, पूरों िा भुख धोती ओस, ऩािय कियणों िा भधपेु्रभ,

    THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS

    The people upstairs all practice ballet

    Their living room is a bowling alley

    Their bedroom is full of conducted tours.

    Their radio is louder than yours,

    They celebrate week-ends all the week.

    When they take a shower, your ceilings leak.

    They try to get their parties to mix

    By supplying their guests with pogo sticks,

    And when their fun at last abates,

    They go to the bathroom on roller skates.

    I would love the people upstairs wondrous

    If instead of above us, they just lived under us.

    TERM-3

  • WHERE THE MIND IS WITHOUT FEAR

    Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

    Where knowledge is free

    Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

    By narrow domestic wall

    Where words come out from the depth of truth

    Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfections

    Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way

    Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit

    Where the wind is led forward by thee

    Into ever-widening thought and action

    Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake.

    THE CROCODILE

    How doth the little crocodile

    Improve his shining tail,

    And pour the waters of the Nile

    On every golden scale!

    How cheerfully he seems to grin

    How neatly spreads his claws,

    And welcomes little fishes in,

    With gently smiling jaws!

  • NOW WE ARE SIX

    When I was one,

    I had just begun.

    When I was two,

    I was nearly new.

    When I was three,

    I was hardly me.

    When I was four,

    I was not much more.

    When I was five,

    I was just alive.

    But now I am six,

    I’m as clever as clever.

    So I think I’ll be six

    Now and forever.

    GROWING

    The grown ups say I am growing tall

    And that my clothes are growing small

    can clothes grow small?

    I always think

    That things grow big

    Or else they shrink

    But did they shrink?

    Or did we both change

    I don’t know.

  • MY LITTLE BROTHER

    My baby brother’s fat, as fat

    As any boy can be,

    And he is just the sweetest duck

    That ever you did see.

    I count the dimples in his hands

    A dozen times a-day,

    And often wonder when he coos

    What he would like to say.

    I comb the down upon his head-

    He hasn’t any hair,-

    It must be cold without, and yet

    He never seems to care.

    It is so nice to see him kick,

    He has such pretty feet;

    I think if we might eat him up

    It would be quiet a treat.

    गोर-गोर

    दादा जी िी ऩगडी गोर, दादी जी िी ऐनि गोर, ऩाऩा जी िे ऩैस ेगोर, भम्भी जी िी योटी गोर, सूयज गोर,चॊदा गोर,
