The consortium obtained an enormous boost in 2013 with the award of a new grant worth 18.3 million euros from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) as part of its ‘Gravitation Program’. The associated scientists are determined to continue their tradition of scientific excellence by attacking the grand challenges of modern physics and by attracting a new generation of top talent. Call for postdoc applications The Delta Institute for Theoretical Physics invites applications for postdoctoral positions to start in the Fall of 2015. Our areas of focus and strength include string theory, cosmology, particle physics, quantum information, soft and hard condensed matter theory. We especially encourage applications from scientists whose work overlap these categories or falls in more than one of them. The Delta ITP positions are based at one of the three participating institutes in Amsterdam, Utrecht or Leiden, that are all located within a short distance of each other. For more information please visit www.d-itp.nl. We welcome all candidates for postdoctoral positions to apply by December 1, 2014. The Delta Institute for Theoretical Physics offers a dynamic, high quality environment with maximum research freedom and opportunity to collaborate within and across fields. The Delta ITP positions are intended for outstanding theorists and offer a competitive salary, benefits and additional support, based on the quality and experience of the candidate. The Delta Institute for Theoretical Physics is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however applications from women and minorities are especially welcome. Applicants should submit: curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, a list of publications and arrange for at least three letters of reference to be sent on their behalf. Applications, as well as the reference letters, must be submitted electronically to the following email address: [email protected]. Join Delta ITP

The Delta Institute for Theoretical Physics unites the existing institutes for theoretical physics of the University of Amsterdam, Leiden University, and Utrecht University. The consortium obtained an enormous boost in 2013 with the award of a new grant worth 18.3 million euros from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) as part of its Gravitation Program.
