Dennis and Coletta Shelly
FIM International, Nigeria
Dennis & Coletta serve as faculty at EWCA Theological Seminary in Kagoro, Nigeria, where Dennis is Chair of Missions and Coletta teaches Health and English. They are presently on home assignment due to medical issues and surgery for Dennis, planning to return later this year.
Praise:
Dwight, our son is doing well in his teaching role at Hillcrest School in Jos, Nigeria. He has decided to stay on for one more year of teaching at Hillcrest after this semester.
Our daughter Stephanie is finishing her last semester of college with a major in nursing. She has completed her resume to send out to some local hospitals for a potential job beginning this May.
Dennis and Coletta continue doing aquatic therapy several times weekly. Dennis continues tests and treatment for low iron levels.
Request from a Persecuted brother in Nigeria: “ Don’t pray for us. Pray with us. If you pray for us you will pray for wrong things. You will pray for things like our personal safety and that God will remove the pressure. Pray instead that we will be faithful to the gospel and that many will be won to Christ, even if it means our sacrifice.”
