Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Dental implants are also used to more effectively retain dentures, and patients who wear dentures retained by dental implants are very happy with the added security and comfort that the dental implants provide.

After a detailed planning phase which involves diagnostic impressions, radiographs and CT Scans, the dental implants will be placed into your jaw bone under local or general anesthesia. In certain conditions, we can go ahead and immediately restore these dental implants and you can walk out of the surgery with brand new teeth. In some cases, we will have to wait for a certain time period to ensure that the bone around the implant is healed before we replace the missing tooth or teeth.

We practice implant dentistry under local, general or Sedation anesthesia. All of these options will be discussed at the time of your appointment.

Dr. Vijailakshmi Acharya obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Bombay University. She has a Masters degree from Madras University in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. She is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is a member of the Indian Dental Association, American Dental Association, International Dental Federation and Indian Society of Oral Implantology. She has trained extensively in Implantology, which she has been practising for more than a decade now. Her specialized area of interest is in Cosmetic Dentistry for which she has undergone training both nationally and internationally.
