Unleashing the power of youth to change the world.

Teams of high school students (YouthBoards) raise awareness

and funding for community issues while becoming leaders and change-makers. Since 2010, youth leaders have raised and

granted almost $245,000!

Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network - $3,650

RMIAN provides free immigration legal services to indigent children and families who have been victims of abuse, abandonment, neglect, persecution, torture, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other violence.

Hope Communities - $2,560.76

Hope Communities builds communities of opportunity in greater Denver through supportive and affordable rental housing – providing pathways that make it possible for children and adults to achieve their personal and economic goals. They are committed to preserving the rich cultural diversity of the neighborhoods they serve and do their part to ensure Denver remains a city of opportunity for all.

The mission of 350 Colorado (350CO) is to work locally to help build the global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis and transition to a sustainable future. 350 Colorado has established itself as the largest Colorado-based grassroots network focused on taking action to stop climate change.

PeaceWorks, Inc. - $1,922.42

PeaceWorks, Inc. provides assistance for survivors of relationship violence and abuse, including intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and teen dating violence. PeaceWorks owns and operates Safe Shelter, a temporary secure home for individuals and families who are experiencing intimate partner violence.

Project Helping’s mission is to improve mental wellness through the practice of “kyndfulness”, which is a daily practice that includes volunteering, intentional acts of kindness, and gratitude.

Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center’s mission is to advocate for children and youth, drive systemic reform, and boldly challenge the status quo so that every young person who has experienced trauma or instability has the opportunity to thrive.

Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network - $1,243.25

RMIAN provides free immigration legal services to indigent children and families who have been victims of abuse, abandonment, neglect, persecution, torture, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other violence.

Savio House - $1,243.25

Savio House is a child wellness organization dedicated to keeping children with their families when destructive behaviors like abuse, neglect, and addiction threaten to tear families apart.

Second Wind Fund - $1,243.25

Second Wind Fund believes that every child and youth at risk of suicide should have access to the mental health treatment they need. They match children and youth at risk for suicide with licensed therapists in their communities. If a financial or social barrier to treatment is present, Second Wind Fund pays for up to 12 sessions of therapy.

Maria Droste Counseling Center - $2,900

The Maria Droste Counseling Center was formed out of the understanding that people need access to counseling regardless of their ability to pay. They bridge the gaps in available counseling services for underserved populations in the Denver area. Since its inception, the organization has grown in targeted ways to meet significant, unmet mental health needs in the community.
