I. INTRODUCTION
Behavioral Sciences course (BS) is conducted for one semester and comprises 50 academic hours.
The BS course covers topics concerning the basics of mind and the mind-body relationship along
with their practical correlations. Topics bring together perspectives of anthropology, psychology
and sociology. There are also four topics covering neuroscience issues.
Students entering Medical Schools are expected to develop a mature approach to education and
also to assume responsibility for their own learning. Studying means not only attending scheduled
classes but most of all it means seeking for information and reading from textbooks prior to
attending lectures and lab sessions. Students who want do successfully finish their medical
