1.Introduction

The Department of Electronic Engineering at Inha University was established to meet the

growing demand for expertise in electronic industries in 1963 and offers the Master of

Science Degrees since 1973 and the Doctor of Philosophy Degrees since 1977. The

department also has various research programs in the area of Electronic Engineering. Major

research activities are image/audio signal processing, biomedical engineering, control

engineering; computer systems, imbedded systems; semiconductors, display, optical devices,
