Reference Finance (Budget) Department letter No. F.1(1)!2014-15/Fin(B)/dsfb/l011-16 dated 13.05.2014, 233-38dated 17.07.2014 and 483-487 dated 19.11.2014 wherein the Finance (Budget) Department has authorized theDepartment of Women and Child Development to incur the expenditure of Rs. 53.1590 Crore(4.79+26.4274+21.9416) ( Rs. Fifty Three Crore Fifteen Lakhs and Ninety Thousand only) under the Major Headu 2236" B 3(1)(1)(4) Supplementary Nutrition -(55 (Plan) during the financial year 2014-15 and in continuation ofthis office letter even no. 5545-646 dated 23.05.2014 and 14921-15034 dated 04.08.2014. I am directed to conveythe approval' of competent authority for allocation of funds to the tune of Rs. 53.1590 Crore to 94 ICDS Projectsunder the Major head /12236/1 83.(1)(1)(4) Supplementary Nutrition Programme (CSS) Plan in Demand NO.8during the financial year 2014-15 as per details below:-

All CDPOs are advised to incur the expenditure only for the purpose for which the funds are provided as above.Any deviation from this will be viewed seriously and DDO/HO will be personally responsible for any lapse inthis regard. The DDO/HO will also ensure the expenditure is made only as per the rules and procedures laiddown by the Government of India/GNCT of Delhi and whenever any procurement is done thepurchase/procurement application in the State/UT is invariably observed.

All CDPOs may request for necessary modification if so wanted with detailed justification so that competent

authority may be requested to all such a change. But this should be done at the earliest, otherwise it shall be

presumed that the allocations has taken care of the entire funds requirement of the project and the onus for

non-payment, if any would be put squarely on the CDPO concerned. The excess allocations are so made must

also be brought to the notice of the HQ so that it can be adjusted to meet the de~icits in other project is so

emerges.
