King’s College International School Bangkok is a
King’s College School Wimbledon International
School opening in August 2020, initially for boys and
girls aged 2-11. In August 2021 we will open for
Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 and then grow over time
to eventually cater for 1,500 students aged 2-18,
offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the
world’s best universities.
We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to
provide a world-class education that aims to instill
a love of learning, creativity and interdependence in
our students. Our vision is to engage, inspire and
extend our students. We want our alumni to be
successful in their own ways. We do this with the
values of kindness, good manners and wisdom
in a friendly, welcoming and attractive environment.
Our Mission and Vision of Education
We aim to be one of the best schools in Asia. We
will have students who love learning and their
imaginations will be fed by wonderful teachers. We
aim to develop independent and enquiring minds by
offering individualised care and a huge variety of
experiences designed to help children grow into
young men and women who can make a positive
contribution to society.
Students study a broad curriculum which places
literacy and numeracy centrally, whilst having a
focus on creative subjects and skills alongside
gaining knowledge.
We ensure that every student is cared for by
underpinning every aspect of school life with a
strong inclusive and supportive pastoral care
system. We ensure that every student is excited to
come to school with King's Activities: a range of co-
curricular activities, extra-curricular activities, clubs
and societies which give our students a broad base
of skills and challenges. Underlying everything we do
is a strong sense of moral values. We want girls and
boys from King's to be recognised not only for their
many talents but above all for their courtesy and
humanity.
We have a wonderful location in the heart of
Bangkok and outstanding facilities including an
Olympic-size swimming pool, a bespoke early years
centre, a 600-seat auditorium, and outstanding
learning spaces to help learning come alive.
King's College School Wimbledon has long been a
school which seeks to engage with the wider world.
Following the successful openings of schools in
Wuxi and Hangzhou, China, in September 2018,
King's Bangkok will be the first King’s College
School Wimbledon International School in
Southeast Asia. All schools share expertise and a
commitment in providing world-class international
education.
