South Georgia Technical College Work Study Position Available in Student Affairs Intramural Sports Job Responsibilities: The Student Affairs Office is seeking a work-study student to assist with our Intramural Sports program. Duties include preparing the playing field/locations for games, moving equipment from one site to another, scorekeeping, and other duties as assigned. Heavy lifting is involved. The individual may work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week depending upon his/her Federal Work Study eligibility. The hourly rate for this position will be $7.25 per hour. Working hours will be flexible to accommodate class schedule. Strong customer service skills required. REQUIREMENTS 1. Fall Semester 2019 and enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours. 2. Must be approved for Federal Student Aid for the 2019-2020 award year. 3. Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work Study program. 4. Must be making satisfactory academic progress. 5. Must complete State of Georgia employment paperwork from the Human Resources Office if hired. Paperwork must be completed before student starts work.
